What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll provide the core administrative support that keeps the Schools and Colleges Early Support Service running efficiently, ensuring that appointments, communications, data processes and day-to-day operations are well coordinated so practitioners can focus on supporting children, young people and school staff. You’ll work closely with practitioners and the Project Manager, and you’ll also build regular connections with school staff and education professionals across the country. These relationships are central to the role and key to keeping the service running smoothly.

• Getting up to speed quickly with scheduling, mailbox management and core administrative processes.
• Helping maintain smooth service delivery by keeping information accurate, organised and shared in a timely way.
• You’ll manage daily service administration, oversee intervention activity and act as a point of contact for practitioners.
• Scheduling appointments, webinars, training sessions and internal/external meetings, making sure all logistics are in place.
• You’ll monitor and manage the service mailbox, respond to enquiries and share prepared communications with stakeholders.
• Organising meeting arrangements, preparing agendas, circulating papers and taking accurate minutes when required.
• You’ll maintain and update databases and spreadsheets, track service uptake, and collate data for reporting and analysis.

What you’ll bring

You’ll be a well-organised and proactive administrator who’s confident with digital tools, comfortable managing a busy workload, and able to communicate clearly and professionally with practitioners, schools and other stakeholders.

• You should have experience working in a busy administrative setting and be confident juggling multiple tasks.
• Strong IT skills are important, including ease with MS Office, web-based systems and databases/CRMs.
• You’ll need excellent organisation, attention to detail and time-management skills to stay on top of deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work well with a range of colleagues and professionals.
• A flexible, problem-solving approach is key, as well as an understanding—or willingness to develop an understanding—of the school environment, safeguarding and confidentiality.

Key details

Hours: Full time: usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Flexible working is considered depending on individual situation and service needs. Must work Friday.

Salary: £27,040 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme

Location: Location Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, either at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH) or our Northern Hub (Huckletree, The Express Building, 9 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5AD). There may be scope for increased remote working for the right person.

As Head of Media and Public Affairs you will lead, plan, develop and implement effective media and public affairs strategies to actively promote the RCPCH and its priorities for maximum influence and impact.

The Head of Media and Public Affairs is an important leadership role at the College. You will work closely with journalists and media organisations to champion the College in the media as well as securing political support for our policy messages, through stakeholder relationships within the UK Government, Whitehall and the Westminster Parliament.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Policy & External Affairs, you will manage, direct and motivate the team to successfully achieve performance goals. You will play a pivotal role in driving the College’s Westminster public affairs work to secure our advocacy goals and you will also manage the out-of-hours media rota, being flexible to be on-call to media as required. You will also take responsibility for preparing and monitoring the Media and Public Affairs team budget, ensuring that all operational expenditure is value for money.

Degree educated or with relevant professional experience you will have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing proactive media and public affairs strategies and a strong track record in leading, planning, implementing and evaluating integrated communications strategies.

With proven leadership and performance management skills, you should also have a background of working with and influencing senior managers and have proven stakeholder management skills, being able to develop and nurture high level contacts in media and government.

Experience of briefing senior staff to act as spokespeople through the media and in direct engagement with political stakeholders is essential. Direct experience of working within an organisation that delivers health or children’s services would be desirable.

Our Development Team

The Donmar has an exceptional ability to raise private funds, and the vital importance of fundraising is recognised across the organisation and embedded in the overall strategy. Each year we raise around half our income through fundraising from a varied number of sources, with corporate income representing around a third of the fundraised income. The Development team is led by the Director of Strategic Development and Fundraising, and comprises 11 people.

Purpose of the role

The Development Events Manager will be responsible for the planning, administration and delivery of all development events at the Donmar Warehouse, working alongside the Head of Trusts and Events and with support from the Events Administrator.

Who We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of leading, managing and delivering events and strong project management skills. They will have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to proactively work on their own initiative as well as in a team, with very strong attention to detail. They will be used to working in a fast-paced environment and to leading multiple events simultaneously.

The charity has been supporting children, young people and families for over 25 years through a range of play, family support and youth programmes. As Deputy Play Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role within the play service, helping to design, deliver and evaluate a high-quality programme of activities. We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Theatre Duty Manager to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the delivery of performances, rehearsals, and events in a busy and vibrant theatre environment.

As Theatre Duty Manager, you will lead the Front of House team, ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, and work closely with student societies, visiting companies, and internal departments. About the role

We’re searching for a Regular Giving and Legacy Giving Manager to oversee a sector-leading, multi-channel appeal programme to increase numbers of gifts and donors to the University. Following the launch of Imperial’s bold and ambitious strategy we are preparing to launch a comprehensive fundraising campaign. The Regular Giving and Legacy Giving team will play a pivotal role in bringing about a step-change in regular, mid-value and legacy donations to the University.

The postholder will oversee and implement the overall strategy and supporter journey for alumni and donors primarily through direct mail, telephone, email and social media.

This is an exciting role with opportunities for the postholder to oversee an award-winning acquisition campaign, a brand new mid-value programme and a successful legacy marketing programme. The post holder will be instrumental in building collaboration with the Alumni Engagement team to promote philanthropy and take alumni on a journey to their first gift.

Reporting to the Senior Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever-increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.

· Governance and administrative support to the Overcoming MS Board

Provide governance and administrative support to the Overcoming MS Board of trustees, including:
