Employer partnerships at Unifrog

Unifrog provides employers with a comprehensive talent attraction and development offering, with a holistic approach to our partnerships. The Employer Partnerships team brings local and international employers closer to our Unifrog schools, students and teachers. We focus on three key areas:

• Building brand awareness

• Increasing talent attraction and/or diversity of hires for apprenticeship opportunities

• Supporting corporate social responsibility through our school sponsorships

This allows employers to centralise their engagement with the future workforce via one partnership. 

This is the newest element of the Unifrog team and since starting work with employers in March 2022, we’re now partnered with over 80 organisations from across all sectors and industries to support them with their talent attraction and brand awareness. 

We’re increasing growth through providing unique tailored partnerships for employers; ranging from partnerships that centre around a virtual course to support students in developing their skills (while increasing brand awareness), to partnering with Unifrog schools in areas of high levels of disadvantage via our school sponsorship programme, which brings outstanding careers guidance and networking opportunities with employers and universities to the students, schools and parents/carers who need it most.

The role and your key responsibilities

As Employer Partnerships Manager, your role is to grow our employer partner numbers and support our existing employer partners to get the most out of their partnership with us. A fundamental element of our work with employers is to make sure they’re adding genuine value to our student and teacher community. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Make sales to employers

Working with our New Business Lead and the wider Employer team, you’ll secure and conduct meetings with employers in which you’ll listen to their needs, communicate our mission to them, demonstrate our offering and seek to secure their ongoing subscription.

• Maintain excellent relationships with existing partners and secure their subscriptions

You’ll onboard new partners, conduct regular check-in calls and consultatively support our employer partners to make the most of their partnership with us. It’s crucial that you maintain a sky-high resubscription rate.

• Delivering our existing services for partner employers

As the partnerships manager for your employers, you would be responsible for delivering on the different aspects of the partnership, including:

• Matching campaigns

Support your partners to identify events and opportunities they’re running that will be of interest to students using Unifrog, and work with our Employer Engagement Coordinator to add them to our system.

• Webinars, online fairs and in-person events

These events are another way for our partner employers to interact with our community of students and teachers. From virtual careers fairs, skill development webinars to in-person insights days, we strive for all our events to be useful, impactful and enjoyable for everyone taking part.

• Help develop new ways for our employer partners to add and receive value

The employer offering is continually evolving, and we’re keen to keep adding more ways in which we can add value for students and teachers using the Unifrog platform, and value to our employer partners as well. At Unifrog, we innovate quickly, and it’s everyone’s job to be creative. We want you to play your part in coming up with new services we can deliver which add value to all parties.

Whether it’s marketing collateral or an email to a partner organisation, it’s important you have the skills and discipline to carefully check our employer focused content and communications.

• Data analysis

You will be expected to organise and interpret data to help employer partners make decisions about their partnership which will lead to securing new business and renewals. You need to be confident using google sheets, excel and powerpoint to create easy to understand visual representations.

• Relevant experience

We are more interested in people’s attitude and ability than their work history, but previous experience in Early Talent, Apprenticeships, Diversity and Inclusion or the Education sector would be an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Employer Partnerships team. You’ll work alongside several other teams at Unifrog too, including people on our marketing, data analysis, and school facing teams. You’ll be line-managed by the Head of Employer Partnerships.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist clinical practitioner with a background in child and adolescent mental health to provide clinical oversight of 2 multi-disciplinary Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs).  These teams will increase and improve emotional and mental health provision within educational settings for 5–25-year-olds in the West London CCG area.  You will be working within a successful Trailblazer site, which emerged out of the government’s December 2017 plans: Transforming Children and Young People’s Mental Health Provision: a Green Paper.

Crucially, your overall responsibility will be to provide clinical oversight and operational management of the MHSTs, to ensure that children and young people are provided with timely, accountable, and effective services.

You will have a caseload of children and adolescents with mild – moderate emotional and mental health difficulties (number of cases will be dependant of capacity) and will use CBT and Systemic evidence-based models, employing the principles underpinning the national CYP-IAPT programme (Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies).  Early interventions will be delivered in a range of educational settings (primary, secondary, special, alternative provision and sixth form college) across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, as well as in parts of Westminster borough in the North West.  These will build upon the CCG’s and HF Mind’s whole school approach to mental health provision. 

The MHSTs which you will oversee will consists of a team of MHST clinical supervisors, schools practitioners, and Assistant Psychologist Clinical You will be responsible for managing and providing clinical supervision to senior team members,

You will also work closely with families, as well as colleagues and partners in the Local Authority, CAMHS, educational settings where interventions are being delivered and other relevant mental health providers.

• Ensure consistent standards of care across the MHSTs, minimising risk and instigating remedial action if necessary
• Oversee clinical interventions of the MHSTs, developing strategy and service development in partnership with senior team members
• Assess the clinical skills required to deliver a safe and high-quality service, identifying gaps and plans to address these issues
• Provide clinical supervision and case management to the senior members of MHSTs, whilst also overseeing coaching and mentoring for all members of the MHSTs
• Develop care and referral pathways that support improved care for children, young people and their families
• Ensure and embed evidence-based practice in all clinical work of MHSTs
• Assume overall responsibility and quality assurance for all reported clinical outcomes and data submitted to NHS Digital’s Mental Health Services Data Set (MHSDS)
• Monitor and track progress against access targets for MHST service delivery, ensure that KPIs are met and develop plans to address gaps
• Writing service Impact, monitoring, service update and evaluation reports (ad hoc, quarterly and yearly)
• Development and upgrading of policies and procedures relating to evidence-based clinical care for children and young people
• Assess and develop evidence-based treatment plans to meet the moderate needs of CYP with a range of emotional and mental health difficulties
• Deliver evidence-based early interventions for CYP aged 5-18 with moderate emotional and mental health difficulties
• Oversee safeguarding supervision and support for all MHST members, in line with relevant organisational safeguarding policies and procedures
• Provide on-call, clinical support for our Circle service when needed

Essential Criteria

• Degree from an accredited or recognised body to deliver evidence-based interventions for CYP and or parenting interventions / programmes
• A core profession (e.g., BACP, UKCP, HCP, NMC registration, Social Worker and OT) including registration with a professional body
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a Statutory CAMHS Tier 2 or 3 service, delivering assessments and interventions to children, young people and their families
• Several years of direct clinical experience (autonomously providing assessment, developing treatment plans and delivering a range of therapeutic interventions) with children and young people aged 5-18 with mental health difficulties
• Experience in managing a clinical multi-disciplinary mental health team and providing clinical supervision and case management
• Experience of routine clinical outcome monitoring 
• Experience of managing clinical risk assessment
• Knowledge of systemic, cognitive and psychodynamic theories and when each is appropriate
• Understanding of child development and psychosocial influences
• Highly developed knowledge of child and adult safeguarding 
• Experience engaging a range of stakeholders (young people, families, mental health providers, schools, Local Authority staff etc.) and involving service users throughout service planning and delivery

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician experienced in child mental health to deliver our ‘Clinical Practice in Context’ module, which forms part of the curriculum for our two-year full-time MSc programme in Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice and consists of 2.5 hours of weekly lectures/seminars throughout Term 1 (usually 10 weeks in October-December). The MSc programme has an intake of around 18-20 students per year from a range of diverse and international backgrounds. In their second year, students have an opportunity to apply their clinical skills by undertaking a placement within a child and adolescent mental health setting, while continuing to attend lectures and seminars as well as conducting a clinically based research project. The Module Lead will work alongside the wider programme team, including the Programme Director, Tutors and other Module Leads. We are recruiting a Stories Manager to develop and drive our strategy to put the stories of our volunteers, callers and fundraisers at the front of our communications and fundraising work. 

This role is an exciting opportunity for a candidate experienced in working with case studies and storytellers who can efficiently manage a range of different stories sensitively and with confidence. If successful, you will lead the Samaritans case study function, support the organisation with its handling of real life stories and manage the relevant systems and processes.

Institutional Partnerships Manager, Thomson Reuters Foundation

Thomson Reuters Foundation is seeking an experienced and motivated Institutional Partnerships Manager who has significant experience securing high value partnerships with foundations, international development organisations, trusts, and multi-lateral donors.

We are looking for a proactive, creative team player who has excellent knowledge and passion for working in the international development sector. You will need to be confident at spotting opportunities, creating, and leveraging networks, and collaborating with senior leaders at a wide variety of organisations. About the role

As our Institutional Partnerships Manager, you will:

• Proactively seek and secure high value funding from trusts and institutional donors worth over £1m per annum.

• Experience of delivering ambitious income targets and comfortable working in a performance

• management culture.

• Excellent research skills and market knowledge of leading funding organisations.

• Fluent in English (verbal and written) and excellent writing skills.

• Over 6 years’ experience working in an international development organisation.

The Corporate Partnerships team has seen impressive success over recent years with the team now bringing in more than £4 million annually from a range of partners including Chase Bank, Lancôme, KPMG, McDonald’s, Morrisons, Bloomberg and WHSmith.

We’re seeking a skilled corporate fundraiser to lead on a portfolio of significant, strategic partners on a maternity cover contract. You will deliver a high level of stewardship to grow and develop existing relationships, line manage a Corporate Partnerships Manager, and contribute to the development of the corporate partnership strategy.

As Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will: 

• Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate partners at the six-figure+ level, ensuring effective stewardship to strengthen engagement and drive incremental income
• Play a key role in developing the corporate partnership strategy, and contribute to budget planning in collaboration with the Head of Partnerships
• Research, write and pitch compelling funding proposals to renew and uplift existing partnerships, meeting agreed targets and working closely with colleagues across the organisation

Ideal skills and experience: 

• Demonstrable experience in managing six-figure+ corporate partnerships in the not-for-profit sector
• Expertise in leading on multi-faceted partnerships, including strategic partnerships
• Experience working with partners across retail and financial services is desirable

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to cover parental leave. 

The successful candidate will have accountability for several key areas of operational delivery of BITC’s programmes across England, Scotland and Wales. This role will ensure the high quality and consistency of performance through these aspects of operational delivery and development, working closely with businesses, internal stakeholders and external partners. This role is responsible for leading and managing a high-performing team, delivering programmes and contractual obligations across their patch. The post holder will lead on driving programme/contractual performance (both KPI’s and financial) motivating and inspiring the team.  They will also have responsibility for ensuring continued funding from key partners and securing new income; monitoring and reporting on this important activity as it contributes to BITC's vision within a set geographical area or programme/project areas.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of:

· Managing the delivery of contract and programmes to meet contractual obligations

· Working with business, schools and/or community organisations to create beneficial relationships

· Providing leadership, motivation and development for a dispersed team to achieve excellent results for businesses and beneficiaries

· Securing funding for impact programmes

This is a fixed term contract for approximately 10 months to cover parental leave. 

The location is flexible - candidates can be based at home or at their nearest BITC office.

The salary level for this role reflects the contractual location and the programme funding.  The salary range is £33,120 to 41,000 per annum (regional) and £36,225 to £44,000 London office based. 

The role is full-time - 35 hours per week.

About the position

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a strong belief in the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in helping to build high performing teams within the international anti-slavery sector. You will be leading a small HR team and will be responsible for developing and delivering an effective HR strategy across the global organisation. The role will report to the Managing Director, Finance and Administration.

This role will suit candidates with previous experience of leading an HR function, particularly those with experience working in a global organisation and / or within a charity and a personal passion for and commitment to social justice missions. You should be able to work independently – leading on the development of an HR strategy for the organisation, delivering on HR projects and providing high quality technical HR advice to managers across the organisation.  You will be an excellent communicator, able to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment and comfortable leading others through change processes in a positive, collaborative and solutions orientated manner.  You will also be highly skilled at prioritising and managing multiple activities, with great attention to detail.  You should value working with a diverse group of internal stakeholders and enjoy communicating effectively with people from different cultures and with different backgrounds.

You will be based in the Freedom Fund’s central London office and be working to support staff across the UK, the US, Brazil, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Kenya, Nepal, Liberia, Nigeria, Myanmar and Indonesia – and other countries as and when our programmatic footprint grows further.  The Freedom Fund currently has 47 staff based in the London office and 36 staff in our other global locations. Outside of the UK, our biggest teams are based in the US (11), Ethiopia (8) and Brazil (6).

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an HR strategy in collaboration with SLT that supports the organisation to deliver on its overall strategy as well as its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion vision and action plan.

• Monitor staff engagement and retention (including through an annual staff survey) and work with managers to continuously improve the Freedom Fund as a place to work.

• Provide HR analytics and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team and Board.

• Provide high quality and timely HR advice and support to managers and staff globally.

• Keep up to date with employment legislation and best practice in the countries where Freedom Fund operates

• Manage the Employment Pathways Program alongside an external organisation to provide internships for those with lived experience of human trafficking and/or forced labour

• Manage the relationship and act as day-to-day point of contact for our Employers of Record globally and external payroll services in the UK, including ensuring that payroll changes are communicated and invoices are reviewed and submitted for payment in accordance with agreed timetables

As the Monitoring & Rights Manager at RFUK, you will drive forward our strategy to empower frontline communities to monitor and defend their rights and to bring about systemic change in the management and protection of tropical forests. With a proven track record in programme management, you will ensure successful implementation of high-impact projects together with our local partners including the roll out of our innovative ForestLink real-time monitoring system. You'll propose ways to strengthen and expand the programme, coordinate with key stakeholders, and represent this work externally. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, your responsibilities include programme management and development, support to local partners and staff management.

Person specifications

The Monitoring & Rights Manager should hold a Master's Degree in law, anthropology, or international development, with 3 to 5 years of project management experience in charity or international development. Fluency in English and French is required, with a strong grasp of forest governance and human rights issues, particularly in West and Central Africa.

Essential skills include leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and financial management, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Personal attributes include a commitment to defending human rights, cultural sensitivity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Willingness to travel up to 16 weeks per year, including to remote areas, is necessary.
