Main Areas of Responsibility

This is a permanent role with responsibility for supporting women and girls who are survivors of sexual violence, to navigate the criminal justice system. As an Multiple Disadvantage ISVA you will have a good understanding of what constitutes multiple disadvantages, disempowerment, or discrimination, and how they intersect with experiences of sexual violence. You should have experience of providing support to women with multiple complex needs, ideally within the Criminal Justice System. In addition to having excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills you should also be able to develop key relationships with external agencies. You should have demonstrable experience of working with survivors of sexual violence and of working in a trauma-informed way. We will provide clinical supervision, full training and line management, and the opportunity to develop your skillsets. Responsible to the Advocacy service Deputy Manager you will be a key member of the advocacy service, working alongside our ISVA’s and Case Workers in a busy and supportive team.

The International Organization for Migration in the UK (IOM UK) delivers a range of programming to support migrants, both in the UK and internationally, including projects focusing on protection, modern slavery and human trafficking, diaspora engagement, migration and development, and provision of immigration advice.

This position will support IOM’s work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, in coordination with the Programme Coordinator, and the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission of IOM UK. Working in close coordination with relevant country offices, units at our HQ in Geneva, Regional Office in Brussels and unit heads at the IOM London, the incumbent will assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of relevant migrant support projects managed by IOM London, in particular related to the voluntary return and reintegration of survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK. The incumbent will also liaise with external stakeholders on matters related to communications, project development and reporting as well as may represent IOM in external forums and meetings.

Responsabilities:

1. Support the implementation of an IOM project which is improving the capacities of UK support providers who assist survivors of modern slavery with voluntary return or repatriation to their countries of origin.
2. Assist with the implementation of the operational activities of the relevant projects, including the organisation of project events, project research, implementation of communications activities, and outreach to project stakeholders including government counterparts, diaspora, private sector, civil society and the UN.
3. Assist with the timely preparation and submission of all project donor reports (both narrative and financial).
4. Maintain close communication with the relevant IOM country offices (especially Albania, Brazil, China, India, Pakistan, Romania and Viet Nam) to collate and verify that data sent from the missions regarding the project is of high quality and in accordance with the donor’s requirements
5. Work closely with and support the development of partnerships between IOM and organisations working with survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK, as well as related organisations such as diaspora and community organisations.
6. Assist with IOM UK’s coordination with the UK Government and other UK based stakeholders in the field of migration and modern slavery.
7. Assist the IOM Team in the UK to expand its projects and partnerships in the field of migration, protection, and modern slavery and human trafficking,  including through project development support and research activities.

What you’ll do 

You will support the delivery of the Linking Loss project, a study focused on co-producing a peer-led, group intervention for people experiencing mental health difficulties following early pregnancy loss that is inclusive of marginalised communities. Working under the supervision of the Research Programme Coordinator, and alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes the Principal and Co-Investigators, experts with lived experience of pregnancy loss and mental health difficulties, you will contribute to a range of research activities. These include recruiting participants, conducting qualitative interviews with people who have experienced pregnancy loss, liaising with NHS services, managing data in line with GDPR and ethical guidelines, and ensuring adherence to study protocols.

What you’ll bring 

You will have a background in psychology or a related field, with experience in clinical or qualitative research involving parents and young children, particularly within mental health contexts.

Essential skills and experience:

• Clinical research experience in perinatal mental health, health psychology, or health inequalities;
• Proficiency in collecting, analysing, and managing qualitative data;
• Strong understanding of participant and patient confidentiality and ethical research practices;
• Experience in effectively engaging parents as participants in research studies.

You will be self-motivated and organised with a strong understanding of qualitative research methods. The post holder is responsible for the delivery and development of all METRO’s HIV services. They will provide strategic leadership for METRO’s work in the HIV domain and line manage a team of managers. They will be responsible for the financial direction and strategic growth of the HIV domain, overseeing and developing new programmes for the charity. METRO runs various HIV prevention and support services across London and the Southeast. These services include Pan London and local HIV prevention services, HIV support services including advice and advocacy and family support, HIV peer mentoring and counselling services. Many of these services are delivered in partnership with agencies such as the GMI Partnership consisting of Spectra, Positive East, and our partners such as The Love Tank and African Advocacy Foundation. Our services are also embedded in other sexual health partnerships, such as the SASH programme, which consists of our partnerships with Turning Point, London Friend and Naz. We are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide support to the CEO and Board of Trustees, as well as adding administrative capacity and office management function to the Staff Team. This is an integral role that requires a diligent, detail oriented individual, with a passion for the vision of Prison Fellowship.

Our mission is to show Christ's love to people in prison by coming alongside them and supporting them. We run a number of programmes, including Angel Tree, Sycamore Tree, Letter Link and Pastoral Care.

This position is 35 hours per week across five days. This role is based in our office in London (SW1). We are open to discussions about flexibility, including hybrid working.

About the Departments:

Both roles sit within the Cathedral and Church Buildings (CCB) Department, which supports the care and sustainable development of the Church of England's 42 cathedrals and 16,000 church buildings, of which 12,500 are listed, to help fulfil the vision and strategy of the Church of England. It also supports dioceses with the disposal of church buildings no longer required for worship and finding them a new future. Through advice, guidance, advocacy and fundraising, the Department provides strategic support on conservation and caring for historic church buildings, making change to support worship and communities, and working towards Net Zero Carbon 2030. Members of the Department engage with dioceses, parishes and cathedral teams, as well as nationally with government, agencies, charities, funders, General Synod and across the National Church Institutions to make the case for church buildings and their vital role in worship, community and national life.

Buildings for Mission team

The Buildings for Mission project is an initiative of the Department funded by the Church Commissioners from the 2023-25 triennium allocations. It is providing £11m of support to dioceses and parishes through advice and grants, structured around three main activities. The Church Buildings Support Officers (CBSO) Grant Scheme supports salary and related costs for new posts to provide advice to parishes on repair and maintenance and on developing the wider use and support for churches through community engagement. The Minor Repairs and Improvements Grants Fund is devolving £6.2m to dioceses to distribute in the form of grants for urgent and necessary small-scale repair projects or improvement projects. The Church Buildings Management Partnerships (CBMPs) initiative aims at the formation of partnerships to provide maintenance and insurance services to member churches. Pilot projects are being grant-aided over the period 2025-26.

The Grants Officer role within the Buildings for Mission team will provide a responsive service for the grant schemes under the Buildings for Mission initiative:

• The Church Buildings Support Officers (CBSO) Grant Scheme,
• The Minor Repairs and Improvements Grants Fund, and
• The Church Buildings Management Partnerships (CBMP) pilots.

Net Zero Carbon Programme

The Net Zero Carbon Programme was established to help the Church of England to deliver its commitment to reaching Net Zero Carbon by 2030. It aims to aims to equip, resource and support all parts of the Church to reduce carbon emissions from the energy used in its buildings, schools and through work-related transport by 2030. The team manages the distribution of a grant portfolio worth £190 million across 2023-31, aimed at supporting and equipping dioceses, parishes and other parts of the Church to reach the milestones set out in the Routemap to Net Zero 2030.

The Grants Officer role within the Net Zero Carbon programme will play a vital role in supporting the work of the Net Zero Carbon Programme's grant streams, supporting it in delivering a consistent and responsive service to grantees.

In both roles, duties will include:

• Assisting the Grants Manager with general operation and oversight of the schemes
• Providing a knowledgeable and responsive service to dioceses as first point of contact for the grant schemes
• Handling general enquiries and pre-application engagement, assessing and responding to expressions of interest from prospective applicants
• Handling a caseload of live grants

Key role requirements:

• For the Buildings for Mission role, the post-holder will be required to come into the primary office location (Church House) or another NCI or diocesan office location (subject to agreement with relevant office management) a minimum of one day per week.
• For the Net Zero Carbon Programme role, the post-holder will required to be home-based, with regular meetings in Church House Westminster and occasional travel elsewhere (up to two days per month).
• These are both fixed-term contracts, Buildings for Mission team (12 month contract) and Net Zero Carbon Programme (12 month contract). There is a possibility that these contract lengths could be extended to the end of 2028, but this is dependant on further funding being agreed.
• You will need to have knowledge/experience of historic and/or natural environment conservation or heritage management OR experience working in the environment or sustainability sector (depending on which role you choose to apply for).
• Both roles require good written/spoken communication skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work well both on own initiative and good analytical skills.

Legacy & In Memory Marketing Officer

Contract type: Permanent, Full Time, 35 hours per week

Location: London, UK subject to the right to work.

UK Hybrid Working: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face, either in London office, or as a result of external engagement or travel for WaterAid. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base.

The WaterAid Legacy & In Memory team is responsible for increasing supporter and public awareness and consideration to give a gift in their will and/or an in memory gift. We deliver an audience led communication programme using diverse channels and products. The team deliver supporter journeys, engage staff in the cross promotion of gifts in wills and in memory giving and all aspects of legacy gift case management. About the Role

As our creative and innovative Legacy & In Memory Marketing Officer, you will deliver a range of compelling communications to increase consideration for legacy giving and implement personalised stewardship journeys for our legacy and in memory supporters, as well as delivering engaging thank you events. 

In this role, you will plan, manage and execute print, email and digital campaigns across the marketing funnel, as well as deliver exceptional stewardship, through personal communications and events, to our committed supporters.

You’ll also: 

• Prepare and agree campaign strategies using data, analysis and insight that meet specific objectives within the LIM Team plans
• Undertake Project Management responsibilities required for the successful and timely delivery of campaigns
• Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure the effective and timely delivery of campaigns 
• Manage a legacy and high value supporter event programme
• Operate a rigorous test to learn methodology, regularly monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns

Requirements

You’ll be passionate about using your experience in fundraising and marketing to make a difference by creating inspiring and supporter-led communications that effectively raises consideration for legacy giving and uncovers new prospects and pledgers. You will steward our existing legacy and in memory supporters through engaging supporter journeys and events.

To be successful, you’ll need: 

• Proven experience in a direct marketing or supporter engagement role
• Proven experience in delivering and/or supporting on events
• Experience of developing and implementing supporter journeys across multiple channels

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• A recognised direct marketing qualification
