About the role

The Therapeutic Service Programme Manager provides strategic leadership and clinical governance for the Refugee Council’s therapeutic programmes, ensuring safe, high-quality care for separated children, adults and families seeking asylum. They maintain professional standards and regulatory compliance; oversee all clinical decisions, referral pathways and service integration with advice and casework; lead and develop therapeutic managers and staff through supervision, reflective practice and trauma-informed wellbeing initiatives; embed client participation and advocacy into service design; and manage operational finances, performance reporting and cross-organisational collaboration to drive continuous improvement and service sustainability.

Location: Any Refugee Council office - Sheffield, Hull, Leeds, London, Kent, Hertfordshire.

INTRODUCTION

As set out in the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust’s 2025-30 Strategy, the NCN Directorate leads on the building of a walking, wheeling and cycling network that brings everyone closer to the places and people they love. The Directorate is organised into four distinct teams: Planning; Engagement; Delivery (England); Delivery (Scotland, Cymru and Northern Ireland). This role sits within the Delivery team in England. Regular travel will be required.

This role provides a great opportunity to set up and manage an exciting new audit programme using innovative methodologies to support services for people with an eating disorder.

Within the College Centre for Quality Improvement, we run an exciting programme of NHS-funded national clinical audits, including the National Audit of Eating Disorders, which will provide important data to drive forward improvements in care for people with an eating disorder. We are seeking dynamic and proactive person for the Programme Manager role.

The successful candidate will have experience in project management and quality improvement in healthcare and/or clinical audit and will have a keen interest in data analytics. Role Overview

As the Youth Service Manager, you will lead KCBNA’s youth provision for young people within the KCBNA youth centre, King’s Cross and surrounding areas. You will oversee the delivery of funded programmes, develop new initiatives, and ensure high-quality workshops, training, and mentoring. Key Responsibilities

Programme Management:

· Lead the design and delivery of KCBNA’s diverse range of youth provision.

· Ensure all evaluation reports required by the funder is completed in a timely manner liaising with the dedicated Grants officers.

General Duties:

· Maintain high standards across all programmes, ensuring alignment with London Youth quality assurance.

· Be prepared to deliver services across weekends, evenings, and during Holiday periods.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Programme Manager fluent in French to contribute to ClientEarth’s work to protect the world’s forests and strengthen Indigenous Peoples’ and Local Communities’ (IPLC) rights on land and forestry governance. In this role, you will report to Catherine Lalonde, Head of Food, Oceans, and Land Use, African Partnerships. Catherine joined ClientEarth in 2025 and is based in Brussels. She leads ClientEarth’s programmes and impact strategies in Africa, built on long-term partnerships with lawyers and civil society organisations across West and Central Africa. Her work is grounded in regional priorities while ensuring alignment with ClientEarth’s global mission and strategy.

Main Duties

• Work collaboratively with partners to foster and create an effective and efficient programme management culture and embed best practices to support the optimal delivery of strategic initiatives. This includes continuing to innovate and strengthen the way in which ClientEarth engages with partners, especially in light of the decolonizing aid agenda. 
• Responsible for effective programme management of regional projects—including contract and budget oversight—to deliver efficient, value-for-money, and sustainable outcomes throughout the project lifecycle, working with colleagues across programmes to ensure plans and impacts are timely and aligned with strategic objectives. 
• Support cross-partner regional collaboration, strategy, and planning to achieve consortium goals, while championing creative facilitation techniques and interactive group exercises in both online and in-person settings. 

Role requirements

• Fluent (CEFR level C2) in English

• Proven, extensive experience managing complex, multi-country programmes in the not-for-profit sector, including oversight of substantial six- to seven-figure budgets and coordination with diverse internal and external stakeholders

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced, people-oriented project manager who is excited to help us deliver and scale innovative data programmes. You will work directly with organisations from across the third sector to understand their missions and translate their challenges into well-scoped projects. You will also support teams of volunteer data experts to scope projects and deliver impactful data science solutions.

You don't need to write code or run analysis yourself, but you should be comfortable working alongside technical experts, asking the right questions to scope data projects, and translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll need to hold conversations with data scientists about what's feasible, help charity partners understand what's possible with their data, and know when to bring in additional technical expertise.

If you don’t have all the experience and skills listed below, please still consider applying. We don’t expect a candidate to have 100% of these, but we do want to know that you have relevant experience and an appetite to learn in other areas.

Essential skills and experience

• Project management: You are a skilled project manager, successfully leading projects involving multiple stakeholders from conception to completion. You have experience managing multiple projects at once and can successfully prioritise and juggle competing demands. You can plan ahead, allocate resources, identify and mitigate risks, and bring in additional expertise as required.
• Scoping and needs assessment: You have experience collaborating with clients/stakeholders to assess their challenges, translate them into project plans, evaluate their feasibility, and create delivery plans.
• Volunteer and/or people management: Experience recruiting, training, coordinating, or managing volunteers or managing people over whom you do not have direct authority (eg. contractors/freelancers). Comfortable leading multi-skilled teams in a remote-first environment, fostering collaboration within newly established groups.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong active listening skills. You have experience being the main liaison for a project or programme, providing regular updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’re not afraid to ask clarifying questions in areas that are new to you. You are skilled at distilling the key insights or next steps in project meetings to ensure clarity on the big picture and details.

Desirable

• Experience managing or delivering data-related or social tech projects.
• Experience volunteering or working with volunteers.
• Familiarity with CRMs and/or project management software.
• Experience working or volunteering in the UK nonprofit/charity sector.
• Knowledge of the UK nonprofit/charity landscape and common digital, data, or tech challenges facing third sector organisations.

Working hours and location 

This is a full-time role (35 hours per week); however we will consider part-time options (28 or 32 hours per week) for a strong candidate. Working hours are flexible, but we ask that 75% of working time is within the hours of 10am and 6pm, to facilitate team working and real-time collaboration.

The role requires regular out-of-hours commitments - roughly one weekend per quarter and 2-4 evenings per month for volunteer events. This work is part of, rather than additional to, your hours, and you must take time off in lieu for any extra working hours.

Our organisation is remote-first, and this role is hybrid, with access to London office space on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and quarterly in-person commitments in London. We have a preference for candidates able to work from our office space in London at least one day per week. There may be occasional national travel within the UK for other events and conferences, with reasonable expenses covered.

Managing the delivery of up to 10 intergenerational projects in Greater London, and supporting the Senior Programme Manager and Partnerships Lead with the design of our intergenerational projects through training, resources and events.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leading intergenerational Community and Social Action projects based in London

You will be leading all elements of the design, delivery and evaluation of up to 10 intergenerational projects, for our in person workshops. You’ll bring energy and confidence into the room whilst sensitively considering and accommodating the different needs of the participants, both younger (age groups spanning 7-17 years) and older.

Taking ownership of programme design and development

Liaising with the Senior Programme Manager, you will own specific elements of our programme development, working with participants to generate innovative ideas that enhance social inclusion. You will independently analyse feedback and proactively propose adaptations to ensure our programmes remain fresh, accessible and impactful for all age groups. You will make confident recommendations on programme improvements that advance InCommon’s charitable objects.

Designing activities to be used by different projects across the UK 

You’ll be responsible for designing and sharing high quality activities and resources that can be used by other intergenerational projects in different parts of the country. You’ll involve younger and older people through co-design approaches, and draw these ideas together into beautiful, accessible resources to share.

Developing the InCommon events programme

Collaborating with the communications team, you’ll use your excellent facilitation and presentation skills to design and manage our events programme, specifically our annual Age Friendly Awards and other fundraising and awareness raising events.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and programme participants.  

You’ll lead on all of our communications, and drive engagement with key project stakeholders and participants, curating a wide variety of audiences with warmth, clarity and enthusiasm. Your efficient, thoughtful, professional approach will build trust and lead to close working relationships.

Contributing to the long term development of the our programmes

This is a leadership role within User Voice’s London team, managing two of our new flagship programmes focused on mentoring, volunteering, and community engagement for people with convictions. We are looking for an exceptional Programme Manager to join our UK Overseas Territories team to develop and manage an ongoing programme of international conservation projects in St Helena, Ascension, Tristan da Cunha and the Pitcairn Islands. Working closely with the RSPB’s network of territory partners the successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the development of an ambitious portfolio of impactful projects conserving and protecting the unique biodiversity of these special islands.

What's the role about?

Your main duties will include:

• Facilitating the development, funding and implementation of a diverse programme of partner led projects including policy, species, habitats, science and capacity focused interventions
• Working closely with partners to ensure development and the successful delivery of projects and the ongoing development of organisational capacity.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

The Programme Funding Manager plays a pivotal role in securing and managing institutional funding from trusts, foundations, government agencies, and multilateral donors to support Brooke’s global programmes. Open Rights Group (ORG) is recruiting for a Pre-Crime Programme Manager

The Pre-Crime Programme Manager leads our work on predictive policing and surveillance within the criminal legal system and counter-terrorism policy, with a particular focus on raising awareness of, and challenging, the impact on over-policed and over-surveilled communities.

They are responsible for the development and implementation of the Pre-Crime programme, working with the Senior Management Team (SMT) and other staff to expand the programme’s profile, network and funding opportunities.

As a Programme Lead, they will also be responsible for working with the SMT and other Area or Programme leads to further develop and uphold ORG’s values and collaborative working culture. They will be recognised as an issue-expert and senior leader within the organisation.

Activities

This is a permanent position at Open Rights Group, and we have secured a number of project grants to deliver the following activities:

• Lead and manage the Safety Not Surveillance (SNS) Coalition, the UK’s only coalition fighting to prohibit AI- and data-driven predictive policing. SNS brings together grassroots partners with national organisations to build power in communities, secure media coverage, engage decision-makers and mobilise those with lived experience.

• Develop detailed policy positions on the deployment of AI and data-driven technologies by private and public actors in criminal justice, immigration and national security.

• Advocacy to encourage decision makers, including MPs, Lords, Government departments and the Information Commissioner’s Office, to adopt ORG’s and the coalition’s recommendations.

• Conduct campaigns that raise awareness of the threats posed to people’s digital rights by the data-driven technologies in policing and counter-terrorism, as well as more broadly.

• Through research and FOIs, help build a legal case with our partners against covert Police-led pathways under Prevent, the UK’s counter-terrorism programme.

• Opportunities to campaign against digital ID, the Online Safety Act and to protect freedom of expression.
