Location: The role can be based in the Kenya (home based) or the UK (London office) subject to right-to-work eligibility in the respective countries.

About the team

WaterAid’s Global Safeguarding Team works collaboratively across the organisation to develop understanding and awareness, embed good practice and ensure safeguarding is a priority in all aspects of our work.  

About the role

As our Global Safeguarding Director, you will oversee all areas of safeguarding for the WaterAid federation, including the prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment, safeguarding children and safeguarding adults at risk.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the development of strategies and plans to embed safeguarding protection into the work of WaterAid and our partners.
• Work closely with Chief Executives, senior leaders and board members across the WaterAid federation to strengthen safeguarding governance.
• Oversee the continued development of WaterAid’s global network of safeguarding champions at member, country and team level.
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding across the federation, and equip others to do the same.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• To be an inspiring leader. Able to communicate the importance of safeguarding to multiple stakeholders, with a track record of having contributed to the development of safe and trusted organisational cultures.
• Significant experience of working in or leading a safeguarding function within an international setting with extensive experience of working with, and leading on, protection, safeguarding and accountability standards, and of implementing policy and practice.
• Experience of working with a range of stakeholders in a development context and implementing safeguarding initiatives with partners and at a community level.
• Strong knowledge of UK and international legal frameworks and experience of working with regulatory bodies.

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• The ability to speak languages spoken in countries where WaterAid works, particularly French, Portuguese and Spanish.
• Experience of working in the international development sector and of living and working in one of the countries where WaterAid has programmes.

• Set and lead the CRM vision for WaterAid UK and work with international colleagues on a global CRM strategy.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams through technology transformation, with experience in stakeholder management and navigating change.

• Knowledge of fundraising-specific CRM services such as GiftAid, Direct Debits, BACs, event and supporter management.

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. This role will require you to lead on organic social media as part of the DEC Communications team, working closely with the Digital and Innovation team in Fundraising, collaborate with social leads across our 15 member charities and public figures through our talent agency. During appeal launch periods it will also involve managing a small social media team of volunteers.

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom. 

We are looking for a Digital Communications Coordinator to cover maternity leave and to support our busy Communications team.

The Digital Communications Coordinator is a key role within CLAPA, responsible for implementing our digital communications strategy to engage and inspire the UK cleft community. This role moves beyond content creation to take ownership of CLAPA’s digital communications across social and email platforms, ensuring online communications are strategic and data-driven. Our Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Digital and Engagement sits within the Business Intelligence – Engagement team.

This role is focused on providing advanced data analysis and strategic support to enhance the MS Society’s marketing, engagement, and fundraising efforts, with a focus on digital and content optimisation.

This role involves utilising advanced analytical techniques, managing complex data projects, and developing insightful reports and dashboards.

The role will work in close partnership with our Digital, Content, and Marketing teams, in leading data initiatives that improve data-driven decision-making and optimises engagement, marketing, and content across all channels.

You’ll also work closely with our Digital and Content team to evaluate and report on the performance of our website and donate funnel and develop and implement optimisation plans to drive engagement and increase conversions.

Additionally, this role provides mentorship and guidance to colleagues in the wider organisation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data excellence. 

This role is responsible for:

• Analysing audience behaviour, campaign, channel, and content performance, and engagement trends to support decision-making. Using advanced techniques like predictive analytics to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Work closely with our Digital and Content team to support all our monthly, quarterly and campaign reporting and develop data analysis that align with our goals.
• Creating and maintain dashboards and reports, using tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Power BI to track and present analysis clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain and optimise our digital analytics infrastructure. Design and implement tagging and tracking, trouble shoot or fix configuration issues and ensure accuracy of our tracking across all our analytics systems, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Guiding and mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices in data analysis to enhance team capabilities.
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data by conducting regular audits and supporting data cleansing efforts.
• Contributing to continuous improvement efforts to improve analysis and reporting, staying up-to-date on the latest tools and practices in digital data analysis.

For this role we’re looking for:

• Experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles,
• Experience with digital channel analytics (social media, websites, email) and content optimisation e.g. through A/B testing and conversion analysis.
• Experience in advanced analytics techniques to optimise engagement and marketing strategies.
• Technical expertise in data analysis, manipulation, and visualisation using tools like Google Analytics, SQL, Power BI
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).

Position: Senior Events Fundraiser (Third Party Events)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours a week)

Location: Office-based from one of our national offices (London, Cardiff, Belfast, or Edinburgh) with flexibility to work remotely
Salary: Starting from £33,044 per annum plus excellent benefits
Salary Band and Job Family: Band 2, Charity
*you’ll start at our entry point salary of £33,044 per annum, increasing to £35,109 after 6 months service and satisfactory performance and to £37,174 after a further 6 months.

About this job

We’re looking for a Senior Events Fundraiser to join our Community, Events, and Retail Fundraising team, leading on the delivery of our third party events activities.

You’ll plan, develop, and promote a well-established portfolio of third party challenge events, working to achieve set income targets, while ensuring an outstanding supporter experience for our event participants.

You’ll also be responsible for developing our third party events portfolio; monitoring and evaluating products, as well as innovating, to create opportunities for future growth.

About Women in Prison

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.
 

Job Description:
Job Purpose:

Women in Prison’s South London Women’s Hubs provide support and advocacy to women at different points of the criminal justice system – whether they are at risk of offending, serving a community sentence, or in custody and leaving prison. The primary purpose of this role is to work with women in custody, including on remand, offering support to prepare for release and connect them with vital community support services prior to and on release from prison.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive advocacy one to one and group support in prison, to women on remand in HMP Bronzefield, HMP Downview and HMP Send
2. Development and maintenance of professional relations in prison and the community
3. Ensure clear, timely and effective communication and record keeping
4. Proactively seek to develop your personal and professional practice, and contribute to wider organisational development
5. Contribute to building a feminist leadership culture and positive working environment for Women in Prison

Job Title: Independent Gender Violence Advocate (IGVA)

Location: The GAIA Centre (Lambeth)
Salary: £28,857.12 per annum (Inclusive of London Weighting, which may not be applicable depending on your home location and any agreed permanent homeworking arrangement)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as an IGVA supporting women and children who are impacted by different strands of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The independent gender violence advocate will work closely with victims of gender-based violence from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of gender-based violence at the highest risk and their children.

The role will be part of increasing the ability of partner agencies to recognise, reject and respond appropriately and safely to all forms of gender-based violence (including domestic violence, sexual, financial and emotional abuse, female genital mutilation, forced marriage and honour-based violence). The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The post holder will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. The job involves ensuring that women are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options

The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors. The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal, and practical options that might increase their safety.
