As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles. The successful candidates will manage a small caseload of carers and provide them with 1:1 support, helping them overcome barriers to employment and training. You will be responsible for supporting them through every stage of their journey, enabling participants to address their barriers and realise their aspirations.
This role is subject to a Basic DBS check.

About you
We are seeking candidates with experience in managing the development, production and delivery of web content and digital products, including e-learning resources, videos, podcasts, and images, for a high traffic and information rich website.

The Finance Officer is responsible for working within the core Wheels for All team to provide finance team support to the wider programme delivery and national staff team. By working with colleagues to maintain financial systems, accurate record keeping and undertake financial administration they will provide the support required to implement and improve the processes needed to maintain the accurate financial management systems which are crucial to supporting the charity’s mission. This role would suit someone with at least 2 years’ experience in a charity finance role, who has experience or knowledge of all the core accounts department processes and some understanding of different charity income streams. To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the North region. Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the North region, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the region including some overnight stays.
This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed.

This role is offered on a permanent, part-time 4 days a week basis paying a salary of £28,723 (£35,904 FTE) per annum. The position can be either fully remote, hybrid or fully based at their Colchester offices.
The Institutional Trusts and Fundraising Manager will provide strategic oversight and direction for Lepra’s institutional fundraising function to deliver on the restricted and unrestricted income targets. The postholder will be line managing and leading the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser in the delivery of the trust fundraising target, and working with the programmes teams in the UK, India and Bangladesh to identify and develop applications to statutory sources and major trusts, leading on the development of detailed project proposals.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working in statutory and/or trusts fundraising, including successfully applying for grants in excess of £50,00 to £100,000+. You will have a demonstrable track record of high quality bid writing and production that meet funder requirements.

The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. The primary objectives are to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to our beneficiaries; to develop our regional peer support model; and to facilitate a positive volunteering experience for our lived experience volunteer team. Responsibilities will include the day-to-day coordination of peer support activity. This will involve sensitive communication with trauma-affected individuals to understand their needs and preferences, using this information to facilitate suitable peer support matches.
The postholder will contribute to building a diverse volunteer team by supporting the volunteer recruitment and induction processes. They will offer ongoing support, guidance and motivation to our volunteers, ensuring meaningful opportunities to engage with Day One. The postholder will support the Peer Support Manger to conduct regular reviews with volunteers to gather feedback on their experiences as well as supporting their personal and professional development.
The Peer Support Co-ordinator will monitor service delivery and volunteer activity to ensure it is operating within agreed policies and processes. To ensure we can evidence the success and quality of the service, a key aspect of the role will involve keeping accurate records of interventions as well as collecting regular evaluation/impact data and personal case studies.
You will be a compassionate individual, dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of support for our beneficiaries and volunteers alike. You will be empathic with strong active listening skills, able to demonstrate sensitivity and discretion in your communication with trauma-affected individuals. You will be adept at identifying individual’s support needs and have strong social/communication skills enabling you to facilitate appropriate and meaningful peer support matches. Possessing excellent organisational skills, you will thrive in the fast-paced and reactive environment of peer support service delivery.

Additionally, you will have a proactive approach to building and supporting a diverse volunteer team. You will be a ‘people-person’, enjoy speaking with others, and have the knowledge and confidence to offer ongoing guidance and motivation to our volunteer team. We are recruiting for a Head of Audit and Improvement job share partner to work up to 26 hours per week alongside our existing Head of Audit and Improvement. We can be flexible on days worked and this can be discussed at interview. This role will be mainly working from home with some occasional travel when required.
In this role you will:
- Lead quality performance, supporting, advising and proactively identifying risk and areas for improvement in each Operational area including adult social care and educational programmes
- Provide oversight for quality frameworks and methodology ensuring currency according to social care or legislative changes.
- Lead a team to ensure the programme of improvement and quality assurance activities are delivered and performance expectations are met.
- Ensure accurate and meaningful information on aspects of quality performance is collated and analysed, to provide assurance and intelligence to help inform decision-making.
- Be an active and supportive member of the Senior leadership team, advising on issues relating to quality
- Design, implement and embed an audit and improvement programme across operational services
- Deputise on occasion for the Executive Director of Quality and Impact
