Job Title: People and Culture Business Partner - Organisational Change 

Location: Based in our Central office in Islington, around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station. You will also be able to work from home and will be required to make regular visits to our services. Please note that step free access is not available at our central office and some of our other services.

Salary: £44,000

Shift Pattern: Fixed Term contract approximately 8 months, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. You may also be required to work evenings and outside these hours to provide flexibility to our night run services. 

About the role

We're seeking an all rounded generalist to join our People and Culture team to support specifically in around areas of organisational change, mainly in relation to managing mobilisations, TUPE, staff consultations and growth. You will use your previous experience in these areas to manage the process of organisational change, working alongside the wider P&C team and managers across the organisation. Some key responsibilities in this role includes:

• Provide high quality support, leadership and guidance to managers and staff for change projects from start to finish.
• Support with matters of employee relations, escalations, and cross specialist areas.
• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders to successfully deliver legally compliant, compassionate, and robust organisational change processes.
• Maintain effective project management resources and timelines.
• Ensure all staff have access to meaningful and accessible employment advice and access to appropriate information, documents, and other resources.
• Ensure all employee life cycle administration, advice, and support is completed and provided to standards.
• Partner with relevant managers and project leads to understand resourcing needs, then support to deliver end-to-end recruitment and onboarding to fulfil staffing needs.

About you

We are looking for someone who has experience in coaching and advising managers and colleagues with legal and internal obligations in relation to HR, you would have proven experience in a similar role at a similar level with responsibilities to this position. You will be a team player, confident in your skills and ability, and able to build rapport with others. Confidentiality will be at the core of what you do, and you will be able to take an objective standpoint to provide the correct advise to others. You will have: 

• Experience in managing mobilisations, TUE, de-mobilisations, redundancy consultations, change consultation, and project management
• Working knowledge and understanding of HR procedures and basic employment law practices, and how it applies under UK employment legislation
• Experience in coaching and advising managers in employee relations activities across the full lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, required learning packages and general ER case work
• Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including relationship building
• Attention to detail and quality, with organisation skills
• Proactive nature, ability to make commercially and value-driven balanced decisions, including the use of data to make decisions and reports

Title: Legacy Marketing Manager

Salary: £43,260 - £46,350 per annum

Job Summary

As a key role within the Fundraising Division, the Legacy Marketing Manager will work to achieve the essential long-term legacy income that helps Anthony Nolan to save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.

You will do this by shaping and implementing our legacy marketing plans to achieve our long-term income goals. You will develop an audience-centric and insight-driven legacy marketing programme to attract and steward potential legators. You will also have line management responsibility and oversee our legacy administration work.
 

Key responsibilities

These include but are not limited to:

• Develop and manage our legacy fundraising, setting and achieving agreed targets to help us to grow our long-term legacy income.

• Plan, develop and implement high impact, audience-centric legacy marketing campaigns to attract new legacy pledgers, considerers and enquirers. This includes activity across a range of channels from social media, digital, telemarketing, direct mail and events.

• Develop and implement compelling supporter journeys to effectively steward potential legators.

• Ensure that all legacy marketing campaigns are managed efficiently and effectively.
• Track, report and benchmark results to inform decision making for future activity.
• Overall management of our annual legacy income; management of our legacy administration, including overseeing the external legacy admin support.

• Build and maintain sustainable, constructive relationships with the team, colleagues and key external suppliers.

• Provide internal resources for learning about legacies, to aid awareness.
• Collaborate to ensure integrated planning for legacy marketing with the wider teams: Individual Giving, other fundraising teams, the register team, marketing and content along with other colleagues to identify sustainable ways to deliver our Fundraising strategic plan.

Essential attributes:

• Experience of creating and managing large scale, multi-channel, audience-centric and insight-led response-driving fundraising or marketing campaigns

• Demonstrable track record of achieving legacy fundraising success through integrated communications to individual supporters, with experience of effective supporter stewardship to drive loyalty

• A track record of developing and meeting targets within budget
• A working understanding of legacies and the legacy administration process and experience of working with solicitors and online will writing partners.

• Experience of producing financial analysis to improve lifetime value, including detailed income and expenditure budgets and reforecasts

• Experience of line management and coaching to achieve agreed goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and project management skills
• Confident use of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Excel and First Class.
• Ability to understand, interpret and review plans based on complex information and situations

Job Purpose

We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and professional Engagement Manager to join our team in Dumfries and Galloway, working specifically in the West of the region. About the opportunity

As an Event Content Manager, you will conduct exciting public policy research, work with the most senior speakers from across government, business, universities and civil society speaker management, and create engaging content.

You would take ownership of a portfolio of 40+ briefings, roundtables, workshops and senior level dinners per year across themes impacting economic growth and prosperity including: infrastructure, skills, net zero, AI and new technology, trade, and regulation.

Your mandate is to deliver high-quality, high-impact events, where you will be required to research key policy and economic trends affecting government, business and society, owning the full production life cycle from policy research and agenda setting to speaker acquisition and management etc. You will also collaborate with the marketing and membership functions to ensure that our policy focus for your events programme aligns with membership needs and shifting priorities.

This role is critical to our membership offer – all our events are highly respected and supported by the organisations membership base and will require a strategic thinker who can ensure that the right policy research is carried out to inform event idea validation. The role will be supported by the Event Operations team who will drive on-the-day logistics.

Responsibilities

Event content development

• Lead the content development and planning of your events programme across our themes, this includes:
  • Build compelling agendas
  • Craft key event outcomes
  • Curate engaging and thoughtful speaker briefings
  • Identify and acquire credible, expert speakers
  • Identify and draw in relevant audiences
• Conduct research on key policy and economic trends affecting sectors across our membership base including market and policy trend analysis, collecting feedback from our members including stakeholder interviews and surveying to inform your event programme.
• Lead the collaboration across internal teams to recommend and develop effective marketing and communication materials to promote the events programme such as landing pages, eNewsletter segments, and promotional campaigns, taking ownership of all event programme deliverables under your remit.

High-impact delivery

• Take an outcome-based approach to your events programme; looking with a strategic lens to determine what the optimal events format, venue, and host would be to drive high-level dialogue among cross-sector leaders.
• Design, develop and deliver event content that you will be able to use to generate insightful event write-ups and summaries so we can continue to add tangible value to our members and their sector challenges.
• Immerse yourself in the sectors by networking with key industry figureheads and build an in-depth understanding of how our themes can drive collaboration across our members.
• Oversee and liaise with the Event Operations assistant allocated to your event and/or programme to ensure smooth event delivery.

Innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration

• Evaluate and report on content impact and delivery against event outcomes to inform future production cycles and increase audience engagement and satisfaction.
• Contribute proactively to programme strategy, using evidence-based research to expand your events programme and/or enhance your event content strategy.
• Collaborate with Business Development team members to optimise member outreach and engagement, leveraging our CRM database to increase our speaker and host portfolio.
• Demonstrate creativity and innovation when developing and delivering our annual paid events under your remit, exploring and recommending different commercial opportunities such as barter agreements, sponsorships or partnerships with our members
• Work with the Head of Content and Events to build out a framework for content reports and publications as part of WIGs 5-year strategy.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience of conference or content development preferably around policy or key business issues.
• Proven ability of managing the full conference production cycle, including research, agenda setting, speaker acquisition and event management across a variety of themes, including launch and repeat events (ideally from a major conference organiser).
• Experience working directly with senior executives - understanding their motivators, contextualising their expertise and building meaningful relationships on behalf of a brand/organisation.
• Demonstrable strategic portfolio development and/or new event/content idea validation across one or more: International relations, politics, political economy, finance, economics or technology.
• Clear passion for content development, implementing new content strategies to drive audience engagement and interaction and enhance brand awareness and value
• Advanced project management skills including project launch, progress monitoring, feedback and key learnings in one or more environments: charities, membership/training organisations, public sector or third sector.
• Deep interest and/or exposure in policymaking, U.K. economic development and government relations.

Bexley Deaf Centre (BDC) is a small and dynamic, well-established charity which has been serving the borough since 1994. Our work is focussed exclusively on supporting people who are Deaf or hard of hearing. We work to raise awareness, break down barriers and promote understanding within the community.

This is an exciting time to join our organisation; we are about to launch an ambitious new 5-year strategy and are actively expanding and developing the support and services that we provide. 

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager who can spearhead our fundraising initiatives, lead the development of new projects and support organisational change to facilitate the growth of our services.

You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation to maximise the positive impact that we have on our client’s lives.  Starting with a strong foundation to build upon, you will lead on fundraising activities and service development to support our exciting new strategy.

· Develop and implement fundraising strategies to enable us to diversify our funding and become more sustainable

SERT’s ambition is to reach as many people as possible in the South East, to teach and show them the importance of rivers in the environment, and how everyone can play a part in restoring them. This role will lead the development and delivery of volunteering and community outreach activities that connect people with their local rivers. Activities will include practical volunteering such as river clean-ups, planting days, and invasive species control, as well as citizen science, guided walks, and community workshops.

For this role we are looking for someone who is:

Job Purpose

BSR education programme is a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, providing updates on the essentials needed to deliver top-quality care for patients and ensuring professional development opportunities.  

This role sits within the Education team who are responsible for delivering BSR’s educational activity. Working alongside the Head of Education, the Events and Education Manager, Event Executive and the Digital Events Manager, you will assist in the planning and delivery of a range of education courses, webinars, bursary schemes and digital learning activities.  You will work with the team to support the work of our Education Committee, Trainee Committee and Digital Learning Board.  

This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more hands-on experience in planning and executing a variety of educational events and activities and liaising with multiple stakeholders. Main Responsibilties 

Event & Course Management 

• Lead on course and webinar registration processes, including delegate bookings, communications, data management and reporting, and producing delegate materials. 
• Support course logistics including venue sourcing and management, accommodation and travel, catering and AV. 
• Support stakeholder management at education courses, including communications with patients, sponsors and event supporters. 
• Occasional travel, including attendance and overnight stays at BSR conferences, courses and events.

Systems & Data Management 

• Oversee the team’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and registration systems, ensuring data integrity, implementing system enhancements, coordinating stakeholders, and carrying out testing.  

Project Coordination 

• Coordinate the rheumatology training webinar series, including topic development, speaker management and live delivery. 
• Coordinate the education bursary programme, including promotion, application management and financial reconciliation. 
• Coordinate CPD accreditation of educational activities. 
• Support the delivery of digital sponsorship and educational partnership opportunities. 

Marketing & Communications 

• Work with the Marketing and Communications team to create digital content to engage target audiences.

• Input into education budgets by monitoring progress against income and expenditure for owned projects.
• Support with BSR Committee liaison and logistics.

Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. As well as experiencing severe, difficult-to-control seizures, children and adults with Dravet Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.

Purpose

The Case Manager will strive to make contact and work on a one-to-one basis with perpetrators whose victims have been identified as high risk at MARAC to pro- actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. To do this, the Case Manager will work with existing agencies in each pilot site to design a co-ordinated, strategic individual intervention plan to address identified needs and risks and promote understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours. Throughout the intervention the Case Manager will work closely with the IDVA service to review risk, develop safety plans and improve outcomes for all parties involved.

The Case Manager will be responsible over the long term for delivering outcomes, to achieve behaviour change with each service user.

Responsibilities
Interagency work

• Work to embed the Case Manager role into multi-agency responses to domestic abuse in the area.
• Effective understanding and implementation of institutional advocacy by pro- socially challenging partner agencies, acknowledging best practice and striving for change to benefit the individual, the service and the sector.
• Support other professionals in responding to service users in a way that is coterminous with the aims and ethos of the Drive Project.
• Working closely with other professionals to ensure that risk management and safeguarding duties are effectively met.
• Develop and maintain effective partnership working with statutory, private and voluntary agencies to address the issue of domestic abuse.
• Represent the service at operational multi-agency meetings, feeding back initiatives and outcomes to the team and contributing to the evaluation of the quality of activities these services offer.
• Provide a single point of proactive and regular contact for a range of professionals involved in the case of the service user.
• Be flexible and willing to work in all types of environments.

Case management

• Comply with child protection and information sharing policies, ensuring that service users and colleagues understand and comply with the service’s safeguarding framework.
• Manage a case load focusing on high risk perpetrators of domestic abuse to provide an assertive, medium to long term service, based on thorough assessment and individual support planning that adopts the principles of both ‘Support (change) or/and Disrupt (continued offending) concept.
• Contribute to regular service reviews which include monitoring data, evaluations, intake and output policy, and practice and workload reviews for the whole service.
• Attend monthly case management meeting with the Service Manager.
• Attend clinical supervision.
• Take appropriate steps to protect where there is an imminent risk to another person.

Recording and administration

• Ensure that case files and records are accurate and complete; and are kept and in compliance with Data Protection Act requirements.
• To enter all the required information into the Drive project electronic case management system to enable tracking of service user change, multi-agency working and risk management.
• Weekly maintenance and accurate and secure audit trail of all relevant communication.
• Comply with the data protection and information sharing protocols that Drive has agreed to.

Direct work with service users

• Maintain a proactive response to service users, continuously providing positive options for behaviour change throughout the service users time in the Drive project.
• Use combination of motivational work, relationship building and a broad range of therapeutic skills to engage service users to address their abusive behaviour.
• Motivate and support service users to address the broad range of needs that may contribute to the risk that they pose to others or act as barrier for them in addressing that risk. e.g. housing, substance use etc.
• To ensure that service users understand that the community and Drive project will ensure that they are accountable for continued use of abuse and abusive behaviour towards others.
• Ensure that there is a consistent delivery of services to the identified perpetrators of domestic abuse, including comprehensive risk assessment, support planning, referrals to other agencies and MARACs.
• Develop strategies that will disrupt the continued risk posed by service users
• Undertake assessment of risk, needs and attitudes to inform the individual service user’s intervention plan.
• Ensure that risk assessment and risk management procedures are followed at all times.
• Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the service works in, providing a service that recognises the diverse needs of service users and their families.
• Work closely with the IDVAs’ supporting the partners, ex-partners and new partners, and family members of service users in management risk and developing intervention plans, as set out in the Drive Manual.
