We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable individual with a background in welfare delivery. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, analytically minded, and an effective communicator.
As a Welfare Services Navigator, you will be on the front line of the organisation, providing essential support to beneficiaries through our helpline, email, and web chat services. You will advise members of the RAF family on the financial assistance and support services available through the RAF Benevolent Fund, guiding them on how to access these resources when needed.
The successful candidate will be proactive, with experience of working with people in a supportive capacity. They must be able to engage sensitively and professionally with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. A solid level of administrative experience is essential, ideally gained within a welfare or support-focused environment, along with confidence in using CRM IT systems.
The role will be office based at our London HQ, with a minimum of three days working in the office per week. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Basic DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

Salary: In the region of £41,000 - £51,000 dependent upon qualifications and experience

We’re looking for a strategic, innovative and proactive Communications and Marketing Lead to drive forward Save the Rhino’s communications across all touch points, delivering our ambitious five-year strategy. As a member of the Senior Management Team, this role is key to shaping our public voice, strengthening our organisation’s brand and driving greater awareness and engagement with rhino conservation.
This is a broad and influential role for an experienced communications and marketing professional to amplify our core conservation messaging alongside our fundraising campaigns. You will bring clear tactical vision and a deep understanding of how targeted communications can advance organisational reputation, support conservation goals and engage diverse audiences.
You’ll oversee all aspects of external communications including messaging, media, PR, digital, campaigns and brand. With a talent for storytelling and an eye for detail, you’ll be confident and experienced in turning complex information into accessible, compelling content. From writing press releases on the latest rhino news, to supporting successful fundraising campaigns, this role is ideal for someone who excels in strategic thinking as well as hands-on delivery. Communications
- Lead on the development and implementation of all communications messaging and materials, in line with organisational core values and strategic vision
- Support creation and production of advocacy materials relating to key rhino conservation issues as appropriate
- Work with the Programmes Team to produce materials for impact reporting including blogs and articles for use online and within the charity’s Annual Report
- Develop a programme of regular webinars with the CEO, addressing timely and interesting rhino topics to engage and grow Save the Rhino’s online audience
- Prepare and create content Save the Rhino’s annual magazine, The Horn
- Monitor and report on key metrics across all communications channels and content, using data insights to support and/or adapt future plans
Media
- Prepare press communications plans around key events and rhino news, using core narratives and accessible language across diverse audiences and channels
- Create and implement crisis communication plans, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to reputational risks or urgent events
Brand
- Work with the CEO and the Communications and Marketing Team to produce materials to communicate new organisational strategy
- Ensure all Save the Rhino communications material maintains a consistent brand and house style, managing and updating brand guidelines and templates, for use by the internal team and external partners
Marketing
- Manage all aspects of Save the Rhino’s website (WordPress), including general updates to content, SEO, e-commerce integrations and user experience development, supported by an external web agency
- Lead the Marketing and Communications Team to work in partnership with the Fundraising Team on the development of regular fundraising material and appeals, reviewing messaging, audience segmentation and asset creation
- Oversee all email and social media marketing, with a particular emphasis on video content for social channels to grow platforms and engage new audiences
- Oversee Save the Rhino’s Marketing Cloud software, leading on data segmentation, fundraising supporter journey development, and strategic audience development, tailoring content to deepen engagement

About the Role
We are excited to be expanding our community approach for care experienced children and young people at Become. We have created this new post and are looking for a creative, welcoming coordinator to help us grow and meet the needs of our community. The postholder will coordinate the welcome experience, the community space, and the communications with the group. As such you will need to have an eye for detail to make sure that we’re engaging a diverse group across all areas of England, be a great communicator across individual, small group and entire community communications, and be able to deliver on small projects working across Become’s teams. Although this role will be remote and there will be limited face-to-face time with young people, there will be direct communication so building safe and trusted relationships will be key.

You’ll be part of Marie Curie’s England Policy and Public Affairs team, working closely with colleagues across our research, caring services, and innovation teams. We work collaboratively with the Ambitions Partnership - a coalition of 35 national organisations - to drive meaningful change in policy and practice for palliative and end-of-life care. Our work is underpinned by evidence, lived experience, and a commitment to tackling inequities in care.
This is your opportunity to design and manage the delivery of a new and exciting programme of work for the Ambitions National Partnership for Palliative Care and End of Life Care, working with senior NHS and statutory and voluntary sector partners. You’ll also lead an innovative Marie Curie pilot focusing on working through primary care to improve end of life care in care homes. Your expertise and evidence-led approach will help shape decisions at local, regional, and national levels - creating a more equitable system for those at the end of life.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading delivery of the Ambitions Partnership’s new work programme - setting clear outcomes, managing budgets, and keeping activities on track.
- Developing partnerships across the health and care system, fostering collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Enabling evidence-sharing by producing high-quality reports, briefings, and resources for policy and practice audiences.

This role aims to increase a range of opportunities for local people to be active & move more, through implementing the Physical Activity Digital Inclusion strategy to address user needs, develop digital literacy and confidence through training and support, and collaborate with other sectors to create inclusive digital services and opportunities.
Main Duties
1.As the Digital Inclusion Manager, you will develop and manage an implementation plan which reflects the desired outcomes of Active Black Country’s Physical Activity Digital Strategy.
2. Work with the place partners across the 4 Black Country local authority areas and Active Black Country to develop a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape across the Black Country.
3. Develop effective working relationships with a breadth of partners and organisations to support integration across digital platforms and systems to connect, maximise resources and influence across the Black Country.

Working as a Service User Engagement Lead you will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of our service user engagement programme that will be a part of the Minerva service across London, including leading a team of CJS community champions and ambassadors and supporting in the oversight and delivery this programme across our 3 criminal justice services. In addition, this role requires you to build effective relationships with the criminal justice teams across London, and the regions alongside our partners and service users.
An integral part of the Service User Engagement Lead role will include delivering planned monthly supervision and ad-hoc supervision and having oversight of safeguarding and risk management for the CJS champions and ambassadors that you are working alongside. You will support the Senior Service Manager and Service Managers in delivering key information to keyworkers, in staff meetings and in day-to-day interactions to help promote the service user engagement programme.

As a key part of delivering the vision set out in our National Lottery-funded RenewALL Hub proposal, you will ensure our food provision goes beyond meeting immediate needs to build inclusion, wellbeing, and pathways into wider community support.
Your primary responsibility will be to secure regular donations of surplus food by developing and maintaining strong partnerships with local supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and national redistribution organisations like the Newham Food Alliance, Felix Project, and Feeding Britain.
You will manage the effective use of this food across our services, including the foodbank, food pantry, warm meals programme, and cooking classes. This will involve careful stock management, menu planning, and coordinating with lead staff to ensure our food provision meets Newham’s environmental, health, and cultural needs. A key part of this will be overseeing the successful operation and promotion of our expanded food pantry.
Coordinating volunteers will be essential, particularly in managing and expanding our cargo bike fleet for surplus food collection and redistribution. You will also explore opportunities to monetise these sustainable transport services. We are seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy to ensure long-term resilience, manage the finance team, deliver a high standard of financial governance, and provide effective support for our parishes. This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide expert financial guidance to the Bishop, Trustees, and diocesan leaders. You will oversee financial governance, treasury and investment management, risk assessment, and IT strategy, ensuring financial prudence while supporting the mission of the Church.
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in complex organisations and, ideally, knowledge of the charity or not for profit sector. The successful candidate will have well-developed interpersonal skills, a track record of excellent attention to detail, and the ability to explain complex financial matters to non-finance audiences. A commitment to teamwork and supporting parishes is essential.
An understanding of Catholic Church teachings and values is crucial, as you will play a key role in aligning financial decisions with pastoral priorities.
This role will be working 37.5 hours per week, offering a competitive salary of £85,000 - £95,000 per annum.

Role Purpose
The Director of Finance is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for strategic financial leadership and ensuring the financial sustainability of the Diocese. This role encompasses treasury management, investment strategy, risk management, IT oversight, and long-term financial planning. It also involves leading and developing a resilient and professional finance team.
The Director of Finance must balance financial prudence with pastoral priorities, fostering trust with clergy, lay leaders, and stakeholders while driving financial and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and implement a financial strategy aligned with the Diocese’s mission and long-term objectives.
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Canon Law, UK financial regulations, and charity law across all jurisdictions.
- Advise the Bishop, COO, Trustees, and key leaders on all aspects of financial management.

The Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations will be our lead fundraiser, drawing in support and expertise from across the team. They will take ownership of identifying funding sources, refining a strategy, forecasting our fundraising income, and building strong relationships with donors, bringing the experiences of our group members to life in fundraising communications. They will line management a full-time fundraiser who specialises in individual giving while the Senior Fundraiser for Trusts and Foundations will lead on grant writing.
In the last 5 years, CARAS has had huge success, more than trebling our income and enabling us to expand our staff team and therefore our reach. We are a highly impactful organisation that is often looked to for our insight in the sector. We have an ambitious three-year strategy, co-produced with group members, staff, volunteers, trustees and partner organisations, that will launch in September 2025 and guide our current work.

You will be expected to manage your own time, prioritising tasks and leading a small team of people who contribute to CARAS’ fundraising. Fundraising

Line-manage our Fundraising Officer and work together to generate income to meet CARAS’s budgetary targets through trusts and foundations, individual giving, community fundraising and other means at our disposal.

Develop and deliver a fundraising strategy which synchronises with the CARAS Strategic Plan.

Research and maintain a real-time pipeline of fundraising opportunities and oversee delivery. Lead or allocate all income generation opportunities in good time so that appropriate co-design and decision-making processes are behind applications.

Maintain up-to-date records on potential and active funders in CARAS’s database.

Ensure compliance with best practice in fundraising including use of data and confidentiality.
