Key responsibilities

The Individual Giving and Legacies Manager will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing a strategic framework for Individual Giving and Legacy fundraising to meet both immediate and longer-term financial needs.
• Creating and delivering a comprehensive legacy promotion strategy to maximise future income from bequests.
• Conducting regular analysis of the supporter database to identify legacy prospects, major donor potential, and strategic insights.
• Strategically identifying and cultivating new and existing prospects for both individual gifts and legacy pledges.
• Developing and implementing segmented donor care and stewardship programs for individual donors, major donors, and legacy pledgers.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Head of Community and Participation to lead the development and implementation of strategies aimed at significantly increasing participation in wheelchair rugby across Great Britain. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful community outreach programs, engaging with local clubs and organisations, and developing innovative approaches to reach new participants, particularly those that are classifiable for wheelchair rugby (Paralympic discipline).

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in community development, sports development, and marketing, with a strong understanding of how to build sustainable participation pathways. While experience within disability sports is advantageous, it is not essential for an individual with the right blend of skills and passion.

Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking a Senior Income Generation Manager to be an essential lead across all areas of the Trust’s income streams, with a focus on developing our current corporate partnerships, explore and build new potential partnerships and maximise our fundraising potential through a private event, fundraising challenge, individual giving and fostering new ideas alongside the events calendar.  Managing the income generation team, you will seek to maximise value from opportunities across the organisation and ensure that fundraising is consistent with the charity’s broader goals. 

You will be an inspiring, collaborative manager who seeks out opportunities whilst supporting your team to succeed and achieve their potential.  You will have a proven track record of designing, delivering and achieving ambitious income growth strategies, including demonstrable experience securing five and six-figure value partnerships, including multiyear, through philanthropy and corporate support, as well as an overall understanding of our wider key income streams, Grants & Trusts, Statutory, Education, Health and Corporate Personal Development & Employee Wellbeing products and services.

• Drive the delivery of our fundraising strategy, alongside the CEO, Board and Income Generation Committee to realise our fundraising ambitions of circa £1mil this FY.

About the role

Working in close collaboration with the Senior Mass Fundraising Lead, the role will manage and deliver a variety of community-led fundraising initiatives and dynamic challenge events that engage supporters and generate vital unrestricted funds for children affected by neuroblastoma.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

Strategy and leadership

• Responsible for the development and implementation of Uplift’s legal strategy.

Thrombosis UK is a small but impactful health charity focused on raising awareness, funding research, and supporting education around venous thromboembolism (VTE). About the Role

The Governance and Assurance Manager will lead on the organisation and oversight of key panels and committees, ensuring that governance standards are upheld and that decision-making processes are clear, well-documented, and auditable. The role also involves delivering assurance activities to maintain integrity across the grant-making process and reporting to a range of stakeholders, including government partners.

You will work closely with internal teams such as operations, finance, and data, as well as external funders, to ensure accurate reporting, robust assurance, and a consistent governance framework.

• Creation and delivery of local/county/regionally specific crime-based campaigns in partnership with law enforcement agencies, local committees and volunteers.

Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to provide sound financial management for the Association and CET through:

• Statutory financial reporting in line with Charity SORP/UK GAAP, including annual returns to Companies House and the Charity Commission

• Management accounting, reporting and analysis to funders, management, staff, and Trustees/Directors

• Preparation and maintenance of budgets, forecasts and plans, including cashflows and project budgets

• Responsible for financial queries, working with the Apprentice as first point of contact for external contacts
   

Main Duties
