Farm Cornwall Trustees are seeking applications for the post of Charity Manager.

This is an exciting new role with an expansive remit ranging from dealing with calls and administration on one hand to strategic initiatives including the sourcing of funding; developing the new website and social media to reflect the new ambitions and activities of the charity and the creation of effective databases to evidence the impact of the charity on farming beneficiaries. This role is both ‘hands-on’ and strategic enabling the successful candidate to put their stamp and personality as the ‘backbone’ of the charity on its future development.

This is neither an administrative role nor a strategic role but a unique one which encompasses activities across that spectrum and involves both of these skills.

The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a Senior Content Manager to join our Marketing and Digital Team.

This exciting Senior Content Manager role will lead on the Foundation’s content strategy and the delivery of high-quality content across all our channels in line with our strategic objectives and digital strategy.

What does the role involve?

• Lead on planning, creating and scheduling content
• Manage the relationship with our community management agency to ensure our online communities are kept engaged and supported.
• Setting the standard and ensuring the high quality of all content produced at the Foundation.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

• Experience of writing and delivering content and social media strategies.
• Significant experience of planning and delivering extensive social media campaigns for large audiences.
• Experience of writing, creating and deploying a range of content for different audiences across digital channels, including website, email and social media.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Partnerships team, based in London, with flexibility to work from home. You’ll be part of a growing, supportive and ambitious team, raising significant income to support people living with and affected by MS.

The role will suit a candidate with a sound understanding and experience of the breadth of dietetic practice and research, and the factors that influence it. Working innovatively the post holder will develop and progress research within dietetic practice, building confidence in the dietetic workforce to be research active.  

 Ideal candidate:

We are looking for somebody who is an expert in research methodologies, and appraisal and is comfortable setting and influencing research strategy.  Ideally we would like somebody who has or is studying for their doctorate in dietetics and experience working in a practice setting would be advantageous. This is a senior internal and external facing role working alongside the Director of Education Practice and Research, and the Education and Practice Managers. The candidate will enjoy supporting colleagues and members to engage and deliver research related projects, and demonstrate impact through evidence-based practice.

• Proactively identify and pursue new funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and public sector bodies
• Lead the development and submission of large-scale funding bids (£100k+), clearly articulating the societal and organisational impact of supporting The Smallpeice Trust.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a network of loyal partners who support The Smallpeice Trust’s mission
• Own the fundraising pipeline and lead reporting across the team, including regular updates to pipeline meetings, CEO briefings and Board reports
• Work closely with internal teams, including Content & Impact and Programme Delivery, to ensure high-quality, impact-led reporting to funders
• Provide clear leadership and support to any direct reports or cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
• Create and manage the fundraising team’s income and expenditure budget, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are effectively allocated
• Contribute to wider organisational planning and act as a strategic voice in senior-level conversations, championing income generation and external partnerships

What We’re Looking For:

• A proven track record of securing significant income from trusts, foundations and public sector funders, including six-figure grants

· Strong bid writing skills, with the ability to develop compelling cases for support tailored to different funders

· Experience developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies and meeting or exceeding ambitious income targets.

· Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across departments and working at senior levels.

· Familiarity with fundraising compliance, sector standards, and the use of CRM systems for pipeline and performance tracking.

· Ideally, experience workiing in or with education, STEM or charitable sectors

Roles and Responsibilities

Grant Operations (55%)

• Lead on the implementation of a recent grantmaking review, conducted by the Impact Team, including revision of key grant templates and processes: due diligence, proposal development, assessment rubric, recommendation reports, reporting, partner surveys and grant exit. 
• Lead on the summary of progress towards our grantmaking KPIs, providing detailed reports and recommendations for the SLT, Impact Committee and Trustees on a quarterly basis.
• Lead on the management and development of our Impact Committee, a formal governance body overseeing our grantmaking and impact, comprising 4 Youth Advisory Board members and 4 Trustees.
• Ensure that the Youth Advisory Board has sufficient opportunity to feed into (and shape) activities of the impact team, by collaborating with the Senior Youth Participation Manager
• Support the development and implementation of our new CRM system, ensuring data is captured by Partnership Managers and kept up to date.
• Support the Impact team to identify potential grant applicants by researching organisations in fields and geographies of interest to Mission 44, networking and attending relevant events
• Support Partnership Managers as they lead the day-to-day grant assessment and relationship management with our partners. Support the Impact team to maintain relationships and regular communication with our grantees, including site visits and attendance at partners’ events.

Funder Plus (20%)

• Work with the Impact Team to implement (and continually improve) our Funder Plus programme, ready for delivery in 2026/27 - with input and consultation from a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Meanwhile in 2025/26, support the Partnership Managers in their aim to provide additional support beyond financial grants which help our grantees to build their capacity, leadership potential and resilience - this is likely to involve regular communication with the fundraising team and liaison with our major corporate partners

Research, Learning and Evaluation (15%)

• Lead on the data collection and impact reporting processes which have been developed to capture learning, evidence and impact data from our programmatic work. 
• Support our partnership managers to use the data collection and impact reporting processes, ensuring we’re able to collect and analyse key impact data on a regular basis
• Work with our Head of  Strategy and Learning and colleagues in the Impact team to help us clearly and confidently articulate the difference we’re making as a foundation. 
• Identify opportunities to improve the systems and processes we use to generate appropriate impact data, research, case studies and evidence of our impact 
• Identify opportunities to collate and share learning across the Mission 44 team, to influence and inform our future grant-making and organisational strategy
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a range of peer grantmakers, charities, and other external stakeholders within the philanthropic sector, identifying opportunities for Mission 44 to share our learning externally, where appropriate.

Fundraising and Communications (10%)

• Support fundraising efforts by providing data and case studies to include in fundraising proposals and grant reports
• Support engagement between our partners and our donors, by facilitating the delivery of skills-based volunteering activities

About You 

Skills and experience

Essential

• Experience of working with a grantmaking organisation, as a researcher and/or grant-maker 
• Experience developing new/improved grantmaking systems and processes, and supporting the successful implementation of these processes within your organisation
• Strong project management skills 
• Experience of using grant management and/or database systems eg Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Experience of managing complex partnerships or contracts
• Proven experience of building and maintaining relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Proven experience of analysing information to inform your judgement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as an Health Advocate Educator supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. 

The Health Advocate Educator will train and provide ongoing support to GP practices and other health professionals to enable primary and secondary care staff to be able to effectively talk to their patients about domestic violence and abuse (DVA), provide early identification and offer appropriate care pathways for female, male and non-binary survivors of domestic violence and abuse, aged 16 years and over and their children.

The post holder will work in partnership with the local ICB and the service manager to proactively develop and maintain links with health providers in the local area.The post-holder will work within a defined locality, either Stratford-upon-Avon District; North Warwickshire and Nuneaton and Bedworth, or Warwick District and Rugby borough; building links with health professionals and support agencies.  

Travel around Warwickshire for client appointments essential to role, therefore use of a car essential.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Domestic Abuse Helpline IDVA, supporting women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. You will work closely with victims of domestic abuse from the point of crisis, to provide high quality independent advocacy and support to survivors of domestic abuse at the highest risk and their children as well as working closely with Refuge’s community outreach service support workers, the MARAC team, deputy managers, and the refuge accommodation team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative way across all referring agencies and therefore it is an important aspect of this job that the post holder has experience of working collaboratively with a range of other agencies.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role are to provide a single point of contact for referrers, including self-referrals, into Refuge’s duty referral line/ helpline service and to establish the risks to and the needs of survivors of domestic abuse, identifying and prioritising those at the highest risk. You will also support the empowerment of survivors, assisting them to recognise the dynamics of domestic abuse present in their own situation, and to help them regain control of their lives.
