As Director of Finance you will lead on all financial aspects of the transtion as the Movement for Reform Judaism and Liberal Judaism merge to form a single unified organsation, Progressive Judaism. This post will provide crucuial oversight during this period of change, laying foundations for strong financial governance and operational excellence in the new entity.
Working closely with CEOs, senior staff and trustees across both organisations, you will oversee the creation and implementation of robust financial systems, controls and reporting lines whilst ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Managing and supporting a finance team, you will ensure continuity of outsourced finance services to existing partner organisaitons during the transition as well as ensure continuity of high-quality financial services across both MRJ and LJ.
As a qualified accountant you will have strong exerpeince in charity finance, including SORP and audit preparation. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to manage competing priorities is essential. With proven experience in mangaging organisational change or mergers, you will be an excellent people leader with oustanding communicaiton skills.

The role will create opportunities for young people to develop their skills, confidence and self-awareness, supporting them to build positive relationships and to engage with education, employment and training opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:
- Support planning and delivery of up to two youth work sessions a week
- Mentor a caseload of young people by building positive connections with them, nurturing their goals, and working alongside their support networks
- Ensure all Regenerate & Feel Good's procedures are carried out with diligence

Regenerate is a youth charity based in Roehampton, SW London that aims to create opportunities for young people to thrive.
Regenerate’s mission is to inspire and support young people by building strong, lasting relationships and creating life changing opportunities; helping them grow in confidence, make the best of their lives and impact the world for good. We do this through youth work, mentoring, and our social enterprise ‘Feel Good’.
We work with local young people who are facing a number of challenges, such as poor mental health and wellbeing, discriminattion and/or marginalisation, exposure or involvement in crime, and not being in education or employment. We support these young people by providing safe spaces, positive role models who truly listen and care, and opportunities to grow their skills and realise their potential.

Based primarily within our Fundraising & Supporter Engagement team, the Grants Coordinator will work to grow and maximise voluntary income from grant-making trusts. This role offers the chance to work closely with colleagues across TLG and with external partners, giving you a broad and varied experience and developing your understanding of the sector. From liaising with funders and writing compelling applications to leading new projects and contributing to strategic development, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to bring hope and a future to struggling children.

In this role, you'll work closely with children and their families, understanding their individual needs and aspirations to deliver tailored training, support, and guidance throughout their Buddy Dog journey. From delivering engaging workshops to conducting home visits and offering ongoing aftercare, your insight and empathy will be essential to making every partnership a success. You'll see the opportunity to develop young people's skills though animal assisted interventions and empower families to reach their goals with your support.
Your expertise in dog behaviour and training will also be vital. You’ll assess dogs for temperament and suitability, develop their skills through positive reinforcement techniques, and match each one thoughtfully with the right person or family. You'll consider not just the dog’s capabilities but also the lifestyle, home environment and emotional needs of each service user, ensuring a safe, lasting, and enriching bond.
As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide professional reports, risk assessments, and progress reviews that guide key decisions. You'll be a valued part of a collaborative, compassionate team, working across departments to continually improve how we support people living with sight loss.

This role covers the South-West of England and requires regular travel within this region, as well as occasional national trips. You will be linked to either our Bristol or Exeter office on a regular basis, beyond this we offer a hybrid working arrangement that allows flexibility while ensuring strong collaboration with colleagues and teams. You'll be working 35 hours per week, worked 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. There will be requirement within this role to work some evenings and weekends, and due to the travel involved, occasional overnight stays.
