This role will require travel to the Sheffield office 3–4 days a week (including Thursdays at Howden House), and occasional travel to other partner sites. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join The King’s Trust on an external secondment, working in partnership with Sheffield City Council to support more young people into roles across the Integrated Care System (ICS), with a focus on the Sheffield region. You’ll work closely with employer partners including Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust, Sheffield Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and Sheffield City Council.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in project coordination, employer engagement, and youth employment support. As this is a new model for the Trust, you'll help shape the project alongside Sheffield City Council, local NHS Trusts, and the ICB.

Based within the Employment & Skills Service of the host organisation, you'll be the main point of contact for employers and young people aged 16–30. You’ll support recruitment and onboarding, deliver one-to-one support for young applicants, and facilitate access to financial and wellbeing services. You’ll also represent employer partners at events and track outcomes for young people supported into work.

Although employed by The King’s Trust, you’ll work under an honorary contract within the host organisation. The role is home-based, with a requirement to be in the Sheffield office 3–4 days a week (including Thursdays at Howden House), and occasional travel to other partner sites.

Overview:

The role of is a senior position within the Young Lewisham Project. The role is responsible for the workshop staff, young people and project management of the referral groups and activities.  Managing staff, maintaining participant’s records and ensuring all administration required for OCN and other qualifications are kept up to date and in order.

Principal Duties

To oversee the delivery of Young Lewisham Project programmes and activities.

To provide supervision and support to workshop project staff and volunteers to ensure co-ordination and effective team work within Young Lewisham and individual projects/groups.

To actively promote the services of the project through appropriate channels and on appropriate platforms.

To co-ordinate and facilitate good relationships with partners and attend multi agency meetings where necessary.

To have some oversight of IT system Monday and the collection and analysis of performance data, producing management information and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

To act as one of 3 designated safeguarding leads and attend all training to ensure current compliance.

Support young people with SEN

Support tutors to work with young people with challenging behaviour

Specific Duties Management

To plan and facilitate team meetings, multi-agency meetings, consultation and co-operative working with statutory and non-statutory agencies.

To manage the risk and safety of young people, service users and be responsible for their care whilst they engage with Young Lewisham Project along with other management team.

To ensure that Health and Safety processes and policies are followed and that risk assessments are in place, up to date and complied with.

Manage workshop equipment - service, maintenance, repair and replacement

Responsible for the supervision and management of workshop staff and volunteers involved in specific groups / projects within Young Lewisham.

Involvement in the recruitment and induction of new staff or volunteers involved in specific groups / projects within Young Lewisham.

Specific Duties pertaining to individual Groups and Projects

Responsible for workshop and tutor spending according to specific project budget and Young Lewisham finance policy and any funding agreements in place.

To work in a multi-agency setting e.g. schools, Youth Services, specialist projects/agencies to maximise development and learning opportunities for young people.

To work in a multi-disciplinary way by: building and maintaining relationships with partners, sharing information in line with the Data Protection Act and Young Lewisham policies; attending relevant meetings as necessary

Monitoring and Reporting

Responsible for maintaining and developing systems of monitoring that can capture and analyse performance data to track progress of individual projects against outputs and outcomes

Responsible for producing timely and accurate reports for the Management Committee and external funders.

General

In carrying out the above role, the post holder will:

Be available to work unsociable hours when necessary (this may include some weekends and overnight stays).

Work with young people in accordance with the core values of mainstream education & youth work

The Church at Carrs Lane, a United Reformed Church and Methodist Church Local Ecumenical Partnership, seeks an experienced, dynamic Project Co-ordinator to represent the church in our city centre redevelopment opposite Moor Street station and near the new Curzon Street (HS2) station, managing the next steps towards establishing and running a new church building and community hub.

The building will be part of a large, mixed-use development in Birmingham City Centre. Working in partnership with Birmingham City Council, community groups and a development partner, our plan is to redevelop the existing church site to create a flexible, eco-friendly space which is the centre for the church and its partners.

You will be a confident and effective communicator, acting as ‘client/church representative’ on this major capital project. You will understand the congregation’s comments and concerns, helping to reach consensus, devise strategy and maintain direction on behalf of the church. You will represent the church to a variety of providers including the Building Development Project Manager and potential partners for the new church building.

Knowledge of the Methodist and/or United Reformed Churches, their structures and practices, and the charity sector, is desirable.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic team administrator to join our small, friendly and relaxed team at SCONUL, the professional association for academic and research libraries. The Role

As a Volunteer Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Volunteer Ranger Service in Richmond and Bushy Park. Supporting the current volunteer rangers and training and managing new volunteers, where appropriate. You’ll seek to develop training opportunities and resources.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Volunteer Officer to join the Volunteering Team at The Royal Parks. This role will focus on delivering the Volunteer Ranger Service in both Richmond and Bushy the Richmond Park Volunteer Bus service. The service was started as a trial with a purpose to engage, inspire and inform members of the public about the history, heritage and wildlife of the parks, and is now seen as a growing success. This role is varied and will see the successful applicant working primarily Richmond and Bushy Park, but with regular travel to all of the parks. Your role will be to manage, the current volunteers, induct and train new volunteers where appropriate, and work to grow and develop different opportunities that the service presents. This role will also work with other volunteer groups across the parks helping to deliver conservation groups, corporates and develop new and existing initiatives. The volunteer officer will support the wider volunteer team and coordinators where needed.

This role involves a lot of in park time, working with and supporting volunteers on the ground, coupled with some office time. This role also requires a large amount of weekend and flexible working, with usually a minimum of two weekends a month in the Parks supporting the Rangers on the ground. The ideal applicant will be friendly, open, and enjoy spending time outdoors and have experience working with and managing volunteers, ideally in an engagement, visitor service or conservation setting.

Additionally, you will:

• Help to maintain all tools, equipment and PPE
• Support the promotion of the Volunteer Ranger Service and wider Volunteering activities
• Ensure all expenditure is approved in advance by the Volunteer Manager and budgets are updated accordingly

About You

To be considered as a Volunteer Officer, you will need:

• Proven experience of working with, managing, leading and training volunteers, especially relating to visitor engagement and conservation
• Experience of developing and delivering successful volunteer projects and programmes and working with partners
• Excellent people skills including team working, negotiating, problem solving and the ability to be calm and decisive in challenging situations
• To be highly organised with the ability to prioritise a heavy workload, manage tasks simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure
• Awareness and advocate of equality, inclusion and diversity, health and safety, safeguarding
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of managing budgets and of delivering, reporting and evaluating projects would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of competing demands and delivering a visitor service in a park setting. Main duties and responsibilities

No two days in our team are the same. We split our time evenly between working flexibly at home and onsite in the office in Bath, as well as being out and about in our community.  You will have a varied role which involves managing a wide range of duties and tasks including. 

• Proactively building relationships with community groups, schools, local businesses, and individuals across our catchment area. 
• Supporting the delivery of fundraising events, from planning through to post-event evaluation.
• Providing excellent supporter care to our community fundraisers and event participants.
• Supporting our community volunteer programme.
• Assisting with marketing, social media, and communications for campaigns and events
• Helping with fundraising campaign and event logistics, materials and administration to keep everything running smoothly

What the job involves 

We have an exciting opportunity to join our sector-leading Community Fundraising team as a Community Fundraising Executive.

We’re an ambitious charity with a bold mission and fantastic culture. As a key member of the Community Fundraising team, you’ll work alongside the Community Fundraising Managers, Executives and Co-ordinators to achieve the exciting growth plans in our new 3-year fundraising strategy.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on our DIY walking and cycling fundraising activity, which currently raises over £750k each year. You’ll be responsible for providing outstanding relationship management for our fundraisers, ensuring every supporter feels valued, motivated and proud to be part of our community.

Using data and insight, you’ll spot trends, identify new opportunities and help shape fresh, creative ideas to grow income and improve the supporter experience. You’ll also lead on development projects, like designing new supporter journeys, working closely with teams across the charity to make sure our fundraisers are inspired and supported every step of the way.

What we want from you

We’re looking for someone with knowledge and experience of working in a fundraising environment – ideally within a community or events context. You’ll have a proven track record of delivering brilliant supporter experiences, building genuine relationships and stewarding fundraisers through their events. You’ll understand the importance of meeting supporter needs and how to keep them inspired and connected to the cause.

You’ll bring excellent organisational skills and experience of planning and managing projects with multiple stakeholders, making sure we hit our KPIs and maximise fundraising income. With knowledge of how to plan, deliver and evaluate marketing activity, including digital campaigns on Meta, you’ll be comfortable finding ways to engage new supporters and keep them motivated.

A forward-thinker and natural problem solver, you won’t be afraid to use your initiative and analytical skills to spot opportunities for improvement and help shape new ideas. You’ll have experience developing, or supporting the development of, annual fundraising plans and budgets, and delivering against these to meet targets.

Clear, motivational communication comes naturally to you, whether it’s writing to supporters, updating colleagues or reporting on results. You’ll also be confident using databases to keep accurate records, analyse data and share insights that help us grow.

FareShare Midlands is proud to partner with Muslim Hands to launch a new Community Pantry network in Nottingham. This exciting initiative will redistribute healthy surplus food to support communities in need - tackling food waste and providing affordable food to those who need it most

The Role

The Pantry Coordinator will play a vital hands-on role in both developing and managing the daily operations of these new community food pantries.  They will be responsible for managing food supplies, while embedding food safety guidelines and best practices at every stage.  They will implement effective systems to ensure smooth service delivery while continuously consulting with the community to refine and improve the pantries’ operations.

As a critical role in the success of the trial, the Pantry Coordinator will monitor performance, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement to enhance service quality. Additionally, they will create and maintain an inclusive, welcoming space where individuals and families can access food with dignity.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Collaborate with supply chain, member services, and depot teams to ensure pantries receive an appropriate mix of high-quality, nutritious food that meets community needs
• Oversee and provide hands-on support with receiving, storing, and displaying food across all pantry sites
• Monitor and manage inventory to ensure adequate food for all attendees and minimise any waste
• Implement systems to maintain cleanliness, organisation, and operational efficiency within the pantry
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
• Drive our vans to deliver food from the depot to the pantries as required

Community Engagement

• Work closely with pantry community leads and partner venues to foster strong collaboration and build community resilience
• Build positive relationships with pantry members, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed
• Use community consultation and feedback to continuously enhance the pantry experience
• Promote a supportive, inclusive, and non-judgmental environment for all users
• Support outreach activities to engage underserved or hard-to-reach groups, working with network partners such as social prescribers where appropriate
• Signpost pantry users to additional support services when needed, helping them access broader assistance

Volunteer Coordination

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of pantry volunteers, ensuring they are well-supported
• Provide ongoing guidance to enable volunteers to deliver excellent service
• Monitoring and Reporting
• Track pantry usage and prepare regular reports on attendance, food distribution, and key outcomes
• Gather feedback from pantry members to identify areas for improvement
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant policies, including health and safety, food safety, safeguarding and data protection

• Work with the wider project team to develop and implement strategies for improving and expanding pantry services
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practice sharing to enhance long-term sustainability

• Undertake Staff Induction Programme as devised, and assist, as requested, in the induction and training of new staff, trainees and volunteers.

Person Specification

Essential Experience

• Proven experience in actively contributing to project delivery
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and support teams to achieve successful outcomes
• Track record of building and maintaining strong internal and external working relationships
• Experience in developing and implementing effective systems and processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with the food sector, including food safety and handling procedures

• Food Safety Level 3 Certification (or willingness to obtain)
