The Middle East Programme Officer will support the delivery and development of our Middle East Programme, which aims to facilitate inclusive dialogue and conflict resolution in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, working with political and religious leaders to build a sustainable peace.

Essential Experience, Knowledge and Skills 

• Native English speaker. Bilingual Arabic speaker desirable but not essential. 

• Preferably London-based. Potential for hybrid working subject to circumstances. 

• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities with demonstrable experience of writing reports and professional correspondence.

• A strong commitment to, and respect for, facilitating inclusive dialogue with groups holding highly diverse political, religious and ideological views, with cultural sensitivity and professional discretion. 

• Willingness and ability to undertake international travel for meetings and conferences, at times with short notice.

• Undergraduate degree in a related field (politics, history, languages, political sciences etc.) or equivalent relevant experience.

• A proactive attitude and ability to respond calmly and flexibly in a fast-paced environment. 

• Relevant experience in organising events. 

• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on ambitious targets. 

• Understanding of the political, social, and cultural landscapes of the Gulf-MENA region.

Charity People are delighted to be supporting a well-known medical aid charity in the search for a CRM & Data Officer to join their small but growing data operations team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and process-driven individual to contribute to the efficient and accurate handling of income and supporter data. The successful candidate will support the smooth running of income processing, reconciliation, and Gift Aid preparation within a busy fundraising environment.

Working closely with Finance and Fundraising colleagues, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the charity's CRM (ideally Dynamics 365), ensuring data is correctly coded, imported, and reconciled, and supporting documentation and reporting for audit-readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Import and process income data from platforms such as CAF and direct bank transfers
• Apply correct fund, project, and donation method coding to CRM records
• Conduct weekly income reconciliation using templates and bank reports
• Track and resolve data discrepancies or missing information
• Prepare and maintain documentation for reconciliation and data handling
• Support accurate Gift Aid preparation and legacy income coding
• Coordinate closely with Finance to ensure journal outputs are accurate
• Contribute to data cleansing and reporting to improve CRM data quality
• Assist with fundraising platform integration and support wider CRM projects

What We're Looking For

Experience & Skills:

• Experience importing income data into CRM systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)
• Understanding of reconciliation and income processing within a nonprofit or fundraising setting
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work with reports and reconciliation tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high data accuracy
• Good knowledge of Gift Aid, coding, and financial tracking
• Familiarity with GDPR and other relevant data protection standards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams

Overall purpose

A keen understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and employee wellbeing is an advantage.

This role is essential to ensure we continue to be an effective, inclusive and people-led organisation. Your role will be vital in making sure Breaking Barriers is and continues to be a great place to work for its staff.

You will deliver day to day HR support to team members and managers, work across the organisation to advise on HR policies and good practice, deliver recruitment processes, and deliver and track Learning & Development. Your new role
The Human Resources Division supports all people management activities across the school and is committed to delivering high-quality and customer-focused services. Reporting to the Director, HR Policy and Employee Relations, this post is responsible for maintaining existing HR policies and contributing to the development of new policy in consultation with a wide range of HR colleagues and stakeholders across the School.
This role also supports the development and implementation of key employee engagement and wellbeing projects. Policy Development:

• To stay informed of new legislative developments and ensure that appropriate revisions to HR policy are made accordingly, as well as working with the Director, HR Policy and Employee Relations to ensure that the wider HR Division is aware of the changes.
• To undertake appropriate policy benchmarking across the sector and with other leading organisations (both public and private).

• To support the Director, HR Policy and Employee Relations in monitoring the progress of both individual projects and progress against over-arching action plans, e.g. the School's Gender Pay Gap report.
• To take on the role of Data Lead for the HR Policy Team, supporting with developing the reporting and analytics roadmap, refining the data model to enable better use of available data and providing feedback on data quality issues.To liaise with the Information and Systems team, and other relevant colleagues as required, to produce timely and accurate management information to support project and development work within the team.
• To plan, organise and communicate the school's annual flu vaccination clinics, liaising with external and internal stakeholders, to ensure that this runs effectively.
• To complete annual benchmarking reports, developing and implementing action plans based on feedback.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience of working in a large HR department supporting a complex and diverse organisation
• Can demonstrate a sound knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR good practice, with experience of advising colleagues and managers on HR policy and procedure
• Experience of developing or contributing to HR policies across a range of topics
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience of servicing committees and/or organising events
• Experience of producing accurate minutes and/or meeting notes
• Ability to communicate in a diplomatic, tactful and courteous manner with a wide variety of people, at all levels, in the most appropriate format
• Excellent written skills i.e. ability to produce clear and professional policy, procedure and guidance documents
• Ability to exercise discretion and deal professionally with confidential and/or politically sensitive information
• Evidence of effectively understanding large amounts of moderately complex information and compiling succinct summaries
• The ability to undertake research from a wide range of sources, using a range of techniques to gather and analyse relevant information.
• Previous experience within the Higher Education sector would be an advantage.

The MND Association is looking for a Policy Manager to shape and lead our policy influencing activities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. In this key role, you will develop and promote policy positions that ensure our voice is heard in public debates and among decision-makers. You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders to influence change and improve support for people living with and affected by motor neurone disease. We're looking for a Policy Manager with strong analytical skills, political insight and clear communication abilities, who can work confidently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop policy, research and analysis work to position the MND Association in key debates
• Monitor and analyse public policy to identify barriers and propose evidence-based solutions to support campaigns, briefings and submission
• Communicate the MND Association's position through high-quality briefings, reports, submissions and speeches
• Develop and maintain relationships with policymakers, government officials, and key sector organisations
• Represent the Association in external policy and consultation forums
• Support the implementation and evaluation of the Association's Public Affairs and Campaigns strategy
• Keep internal colleagues informed of relevant policy developments
• Circulate policy positions to varied audiences in accessible formats
• Lead and support policy-related meetings, seminars and consultations
• Line-manage Policy Advisers and oversee commissioned projects where required

About You:

• In-depth knowledge of health and/or social policy in the UK
• Strong understanding of UK political systems, including Westminster and the devolved nations
• Proven experience in delivering impactful research and policy analysis
• A successful track record of policy development and influencing change
• Ability to interpret and comment on complex issues clearly and effectively
• Experience of managing staff and external consultants
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel across the UK and attend occasional evening or weekend events

Role Summary
As Business Development Programme Officer, you’ll play a key role in expanding ARTICLE 19’s unrestricted income through creative and strategic fundraising.
