We’re looking for an experienced Healthcare Partnerships Lead to continue to steer the delivery of our Healthcare Engagement Strategy and build upon our Program expertise. With a strong focus on reducing health inequalities, you’ll lead, develop and deliver activities that meet our strategic ambition to ensure that as many people as possible understand that there is hope after an MS diagnosis.

We need to engage with healthcare professionals as, for many people with MS, this group are the first people they seek credible information from and will potentially have a life-long relationship with, given the incurable nature of the condition.

Overcoming MS is the world’s leading multiple sclerosis healthy lifestyle charity established in 2012. We are unique in our whole person approach and practical evidence-based focus upon self-management of MS, formulated as a holistic program. Although there is currently no cure for MS, we help people with MS to live well by making informed lifestyle choices. Raise awareness within the global MS community of the importance of healthy lifestyle and the Overcoming MS Program.

Build the authority of Overcoming MS through developing team expertise, communicating the existing evidence base, building new evidence, and through influencing and working in partnerships. 

Grow a collaborative, knowledgeable, passionate and sustainable team of staff, facilitators and volunteers. 

Develop financial growth and independence through reducing our cost base, increasing fundraising via diversified activity, and generating income through other sources. 

Job Description

The Healthcare Partnerships Lead will be responsible for the delivery of our Healthcare Engagement Strategy, through the development and delivery of projects and activities which embrace collaboration, raise the profile and credibility of both the Overcoming MS charity and Program, and extend supported self- management of MS within the health and social sector. We want to be the go-to charity for lifestyle and living well with MS and to demonstrate the added value we bring through education, resources, community and partnership working.

The past 12 months have seen the laying of a strong foundation for both increasing credibility and collaboration. This has included identifying barriers to supporting self-management in MS, developing education, piloting projects and resources to overcome some of those barriers in partnership with healthcare professionals. Honing datasets and presenting these meaningfully, has added credibility and demonstrated value. We want to see that foundation built on further, and shared more widely, taken forward by the new Healthcare Partnerships Lead.

Key Responsibilities

· The successful delivery of the Healthcare Engagement Strategy, identifying and prioritising engagement with our key audiences and stakeholders.

· Working closely with both our Medical Advisor, Information and Research Manager (new role) and with the existing HCP Advisory Group and wider engaged healthcare partners, to facilitate the development of the relationship, profile and reach between the charity and the health and social care sectors. Around information sharing, service design, and understanding of the role of lifestyle in holistic management of MS.

· Identifying and attending key healthcare events and conferences, building networks, partnerships and other resources to increase knowledge and awareness of how the charity and Overcoming MS Program, benefits people with MS and maximise opportunities for signposting.

· Building frameworks for data gathering and evaluation to effectively review benefit of collaborative interventions and report outcomes widely and meaningfully, in partnership with the Information and Research Manager.

· Maintaining understanding of policy and priorities of healthcare agencies to ensure mutual or aligned priorities from both, in addition to people living with MS, are all factors taken into consideration when developing plans and pathways.

· Identifying opportunities for collaboration and partnership working through engagement with HCP professionals and organisations.

· Lead on healthcare education through our existing partnership with the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, marketing the education widely, evaluating its benefit to HCPs and strategically reviewing the format, vehicle and content as appropriate.

· Providing clear, responsive and consistent educational content around the importance of lifestyle choices and behaviours to healthcare professionals based on the current evidence-base and the Overcoming MS Program, working closely with the Information & Research Manager to ensure up-to-date and validated content.

 Other Responsibilities

· Creating meaningful engagement with the MS community and healthcare professional partners, widening our reach to support more people with MS.

· Mapping local assets and services to target and test appropriate resources and support to MS clinics, to help HCPs share information and support their patients to self-manage, tracking success.

· Empowering people affected by MS and their healthcare professionals to discuss lifestyle modification and the Overcoming MS Program with confidence, improving self-management and health outcomes.

· Engaging new HCP audiences, reducing barriers and perceptions of lifestyle modification in the treatment of MS. 

· Leading on the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of key programmes, considering key insight, collecting and analysing data to measure impact against project and charity targets.

· Supporting the delivery of key products, services and events both in person and online that reach multiple audiences and budgeting accordingly.

· Identifying opportunities for accessing funding streams, working with Fundraising colleagues to diversify our income base.

· Raising our profile within the healthcare environment so that they recommend the charity and will advocate on our behalf.

· As we are a small, busy charity, all staff help with the general running of the organisation in addition to their specific role activities.

About you
Education or experience in a related field e.g. healthcare management, public health, you’ll have a strong understanding of the NHS, Public Health and the UK health care policy landscape. Knowledge of the global health care landscape would be an advantage but not essential.

You’ll have previous experience as a senior healthcare lead or similar role for example within the NHS or similar medical field or will have experience leading community or public health related engagement programmes.

With excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, including working with stakeholders at very senior and professional levels, you’ll have strategic analytical skills, able to frame problems and solutions in a logical fashion and demonstrate a high degree of empathy and compassion for health-related issues.

You’ll have intellectual flexibility, able to embrace and deal with ambiguity, complexity and to be open to creativity in leading and bringing about effective change.

You are comfortable working remotely and attending events during evenings and weekends, with a full UK driving licence and access to a car.

You will support our work to get partnership contracts so that we can place our officers in police forces across the country. You will organise events and opportunities for senior individuals within policing to come and see the work we do, visit our academies and meet our participants.

The role will be a mixture of organising events, project management, administration, research and relationship building. You will ensure meetings with our external partners are well prepared for and will undertake various projects and administration tasks to allow us, as a team, to develop positive and lasting partnerships. This is a highly varied role which will give you the opportunity to work across the whole of Police Now. As such we are looking for a quick learner and someone who is as determined as we are to see the Police Now mission succeed.

What you’ll do – the key responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of our partnership events including our Academy Visitor Days, as well as designing and implementing new stakeholder engagement initiatives based on previous stakeholder feedback.
• Support with, and at times lead the production of documents and communications for internal and external audiences, for example event invites, guest lists, handbooks, letter templates and agendas. This will include producing reports which use data to demonstrate the impact of our programmes to forces.
• Support with our sales campaign and contracting work through regular reporting, maintaining accurate records and providing updates to senior leadership and relevant internal stakeholders. This may include identifying opportunities for Police Now colleagues to attend sector events to have the greatest possible impact on policing in England & Wales.
• Collaborate with colleagues from across Police Now to support a strong customer experience for Police Now’s partner forces; for example, attending cross-departmental meetings and through developing Police Now’s use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce.
• Provide wider administrative support to the Force Partnerships team. This includes but is not limited to; preparing and printing event documentation, record-keeping, team inbox monitoring, room bookings, research into current and future force partners and booking and taking minutes for both internal and external meetings.

Frequent travel to the London office (2-3 days a week), along with regular travel to events and forces nationally will be required for this role.

We’re an ambitious charity with a bold mission and a fantastic culture. As we embark on an exciting 3-year fundraising strategy, we’re looking for a Senior Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This is a newly created role within the team which will oversee acquisition and new product development.

You’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. In this role you’ll take ownership of planning, implementing and reporting on fully integrated acquisition campaigns across a range of channels including DRTV, Digital, Telephone, SMS and OOH.

You’ll work closely with teams from across the organisation and our media agency to ensure a truly integrated, collaborative approach. Together with the team, you’ll identify opportunities, apply learnings from past campaigns, and enhance future performance.

You’ll also be integral to driving forward new product development to acquire new regular givers. Leading on testing across the Acquisition team, you’ll innovate to drive the lowest attrition, best ROI and strongest lifetime value. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to drive the best creative, messaging, targeting and data insights.

What we want from you

Aside from excellent knowledge and experience of working in a direct marketing environment managing fully integrated campaigns, you’ll also have strong digital campaign management experience, ideally gained from a fundraising environment. You’ll have experience in developing and implementing effective testing strategies and ideally also have experience in developing new marketing or fundraising products.

You’ll possess first class communication skills; a strong team ethic and you will be at ease working with and influencing key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ability to manage expenditure budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance.

We are seeking a passionate Senior Event Executive to drive the ongoing development of our event products. Your focus will be on continuous improvement, bringing compelling, supporter-focused products and propositions to life.

You will play a crucial role in managing major fundraising events with high participant volumes across our event portfolio. These roles offer the chance to support the development and delivery of some of the largest and most enduring fundraising products in the charity sector. The role will concentrate on our flagship events, including the iconic London Marathon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist managing the end-to-end delivery of iconic events and exceptional supporter experiences, meeting financial and non-financial targets.
• Lead continuous improvement, ensuring products and propositions are compelling, and supporter focused.
• Work with the Product Delivery team and other experts to ensure all activities are successfully planned, delivered, and managed.
• Create and implement innovative stewardship plans to provide supporters with a sector-leading journey from start to finish, while optimising ROI.
• Monitor financial performance and KPI trends, managing supporter data integration into the CRM database.
• Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to craft unforgettable marketing and informational materials as well working with the customer service team to engage supporters and drive event growth.
• Provide effective line management to a Product Executive, fostering a supportive and productive work environment, ensuring team goals are met and professional development is encouraged.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you bring relevant experience managing income generation products from start to finish, specifically within the context of product marketing, fundraising campaigns and/or fundraising events.

You are enthusiastic, proactive, and commercially aware, with a proven track record in delivering multi-channel customer journeys, managing, and executing projects, and presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.

With a solid understanding of marketing and/or fundraising (including insight, customer journeys and marketing communications), you are knowledgeable about content management systems and customer databases, as well as new and emerging technologies and trends in the marketing and fundraising space.

Your excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills are complemented by your experience in budget management and your understanding of line management principles and practices.

Working arrangements

This is a 12 month fixed term contract. 

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average.  The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. The portfolio includes a strong established climate resilience focus. You should have:

Senior Events Executive, Global’s Make Some Noise

This is a rare opportunity for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years events experience looking to take the next step and expand their skills by working on a diverse range of events ranging from our high profile celebrity fronted gala Global’s Make Some Noise Night, to stewardship events at incredible venues including Downing Street and The House of Lords to breakfast events in Global’s Leicester Square office. In addition, you will have the chance to broaden your skills by volunteering at major events including Capital’s Summertime Ball and Jingle Bell Ball, and help shape new events led by presenters and committees.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management and Supporter Stewardship (30%)

• To support the Senior Events Manager in ensuring that every event plan is delivered to the highest level

What you’ll need

We are looking for an individual who will ensure that the effective day-to-day operations and communications of London CLT run smoothly. Providing vital support across administration, governance, HR and project delivery, acting as a central point of contact for London CLT and taking ownership of our communications strategy, developing an annual communications plan and producing well-targeted, engaging content and communications for members and other priority audiences.

You will bring strong experience in operations, office management, administration and communications, ideally in the non-profit or social enterprise sector, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and feel confident with IT and Office systems.

It would also be helpful and advantageous if you have experience working with community-led organisations, an understanding of social justice and community development principles or bring lived experience of housing challenges or connection to communities affected by the housing crisis.
