In this role, you will ensure the smooth and effective running of our Board of Trustees and its supporting committees. Working closely with senior leaders and Board members, you will be responsible for coordinating meetings, preparing high-quality documentation, and supporting compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
You will play an essential part in delivering a professional and efficient meeting management service. This includes planning and scheduling meetings, drafting agendas and papers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that best practice principles are upheld across all committee processes.
You may already have experience in committee administration, or you may bring a strong background in general administration or an educational interest in governance and a willingness to learn.

Barnardo's Kickstart Futures Service; Floating Support for Care Leavers in Sutton.
Barnardo's, in partnership with The London Borough of Sutton, is providing a floating support service for Care Leavers with low to medium levels of support needs.
The service provides floating support to Young People across a range of properties located within the borough of Sutton, as well as a small number of Young People based elsewhere in the community, mainly around The London Borough of Sutton and neighbouring boroughs.
Some residents are Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Young People (UASYP), or survivors of Human Trafficking, who are over the age of 18.
The service delivers key work support to each Young Person on an individual basis and additional group work sessions for property residents. Key work sessions are scheduled in collaboration with the Young Person. Key work hours will be delivered flexibly to meet the needs of the Young People and include regular evenings and weekends in order to fit around college and/or work schedules for Young People who are engaged in Education, Employment or Training.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Women Transport Workers and Gender Equality Officer will play a fundamental role in leading and developing strategies on organising and increasing collective bargaining and leverage for women transport workers, on behalf of the ITF.
At the direction of the General Secretary and Executive Board, the Women Transport Workers and Gender Equality Officer will be responsible for leading the ITF’s Gender and Equality Programme. The role will be focused on developing leading campaign strategies to organise women workers and increase the capacity of our affiliates in this area. It will strategically engage with ITF affiliates, donor organisations and other relevant stakeholders to deliver projects globally, which includes managing relationships with multinationals to improve the state of gender and equality matters across transport supply chains.
This role will have accountability for the management of relevant staff of the Women’s Department, as well as budgeting and planning for all development initiatives.

What will I be doing?

Providing Secretariat support to some of the Council's Committees and other Secretariat meetings:

Supporting submissions of Cancer Research UK's annual report and accounts, and annual related processes (e.g. declarations of interest).

What skills will I need?

Strategy and planning
• Deliver the existing Community and Events strategy and maximise opportunities for income growth

• Support the Events and Community Officer with enquiries, applications and registrations for challenge events, ensuring high levels of conversion, and capturing relevant supporter data

Marketing
• Oversee all paid Facebook advertising activity for events, updating web listings, and utilising our networks
• Work with the Marketing & Communications team to raise awareness/increase recruitment across all activities, highlighting case studies and media stories
• Develop and deliver effective and engaging content, and materials for supporters to increase recruitment, retention, and average fundraising amounts

Managing information and reporting

The Recovery Support service is available to current or former Forward Trust clients who are on a substance misuse recovery pathway, making good progress within the Forward Trust towards their personal goals, and coming to the end of their current treatment pathway. While Recovery Support is not exclusively for clients who are abstinent, clients will need to be in control of their drink and/ or drug use, and not be chaotic in their using i.e. heavy drinking, antisocial behaviour, daily/binge using of either drugs or alcohol (especially main substance/s of choice). Forward Connect is a peer-led mutual aid community of like-minded people who are making good progress in their own journey – this could be people in addiction recovery, moving away from crime, overcoming mental health problems, or who are coming out of a period of unemployment or homelessness. Roles Responsibilities The Team Leader will be based within the central Recovery Support team. The Team Leader will be responsible for co-ordinating all recovery support functions across Forward Trust’s substance misuse services into a coherent and effective service that offers inspiration and a structured pathway to recovery for service users, as well as supporting to develop our peer led network called Forward Connect. The Team leader will also support with the delivery of the peer mentoring strategy in their allocated geographical areas. The aim of the role is to have a robust recovery support service integrated into all services, promoting and modelling the organisations values and ethos, supporting service users to further develop their recovery and lives, whilst bringing visible lived experience to all including staff via a range of recovery support interventions. The role is Hybrid. There is no set base but travelling is needed to Islington (London) as will require regular weekly visits to the 3 better lives buildings and occasional cover of weekend shifts in this area. You will also need to travel to units within their geographical areas which does include prisons and community projects. Some travel may be covered by the Forward Trust depending on your base, but ideally you should be based within 20 miles of Islington. The Team Leader will be responsible for co-ordinating all recovery support functions across Forward Trust’s substance misuse services into a coherent and effective service that offers inspiration and a structured pathway to recovery for service users, as well as supporting to develop our peer led network called Forward Connect. The Team leader will also support with the delivery of the peer mentoring strategy in their allocated geographical areas. All prison-based roles will require enhanced DBS and HMPPS security vetting. Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, fundraiser who is target driven, to apply for a new role, Philanthropy Development Manager, to lead a step-change in member giving. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of philanthropic giving at the Goldsmiths’ Company. The postholder will develop and implement strategies to double the amount individual members give each year for the next three years. In doing this they will work with the Goldsmiths’ Foundation to harness the power of community, connection, and purpose-driven philanthropy. This role is ideal for a confident relationship-builder, communicator and fundraiser who can develop compelling cases for support, segment and engage diverse supporter groups, and deliver targeted campaigns that inspire generosity. They will need to relish the opportunity to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders across the organisation and enjoy the challenge of working to achieve a significant new fundraising target. The role is part of the membership team and will collaborate closely across teams in the institution, particularly the Goldsmiths’ Foundation, Finance and Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and deliver a multi-year strategy to grow member giving, with a focus on significantly increasing contributions within a defined timeframe.
· Analyse current giving trends and segment the membership to identify opportunities for tailored engagement and stewardship.
· Develop and manage campaigns, appeals, events, and digital communications that strengthen donor relationships and drive income.
· Build personal relationships with high-potential donors.
· Collaborate with Communications and other teams to align philanthropic messaging with the Goldsmiths’ Foundation’s impact and values.
· Monitor progress through clear KPIs and provide regular performance reporting to leadership, the Membership Committee and Foundation Trustees.
· Identify and seize opportunities to amplify and promote members’ giving, in collaboration with teams across the Goldsmiths’ Foundation, Membership. Communications and Finance.
· Contribute to annual budgets and business planning.
· Maintain and develop the CRM system in line with fundraising best practice and UK GDPR, and ensure fundraising is ethical, inclusive and legally compliant.
Skills & Experience Essential:
· Proven track record in fundraising or philanthropy development, ideally within a membership or alumni-based organisation.
· Demonstrable success in growing income from individual donors, including designing and delivering donor acquisition and retention strategies.
· Strong experience in project management, with good operational and planning skills and the confidence to co-ordinate the work of others.
· Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
· Data-driven mindset, with experience in CRM/database management, donor segmentation, and campaign performance analysis.
· Strong relationship-building skills, including experience stewarding mid- to high-level donors or members.
· Creative, proactive, and self-motivated, with a passion for mission-led work and a collaborative approach to achieving results.
Skills & Experience Desirable:
· Experience working in an arts, education, or heritage charity.
· Understanding of membership engagement models and legacy giving,
· Familiarity with ethical fundraising practices and UK charity fundraising regulations.

About the role:
This is a great chance to be a part of a service working alongside the Healthcare & Education Department within HMP Bronzefield to identify and support women who are identified as being neurodiverse and will be returning to the community. Of that cohort, the Advocate will focus support on women with a mental health need and improve their transition into the community, with ongoing community support; including collaborating with other healthcare professionals to their develop support plans.
The Senior MH Advocate will work in a multi-disciplinary way, including attending the weekly complex case meeting and/or the Safety Intervention Meeting (SIM) as appropriate, they will act as a specialist member of the wider Minerva Criminal Justice Service - London team, to facilitate a pathway for women with complex needs including mental health and neurodiversity needs. The Senior Advocate will create a link between prison and the community, helping women to navigate support services and to positively re-integrate into their community upon release. They will co-design a person-centred support and action plan with women accessing support, enabling to support them to address their needs and any risks. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women.
The Senior Mental Health Advocate will be based in the community and will provide a drop-in service (1-2 day per week) in HMP Bronzefield to support women who are close to release. The role will also include line management of other advocates such as; Specialist Prison & Probation Advocates who will be based in the prison and the Loss & Bereavement Worker who will be providing support in the prison as well as in the community.
A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential
About You:
To be successful as the Senior Mental Health Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
An excellent understanding of mental health, neurodiversity needs violence against women and girls and its links to women in the criminal justice system
Experience of managing/supervising a team of advocates/caseworkers – and leading a team to achieve targets & outcomes as well as appropriately managing and leading the team on any safeguarding concerns/incidents.
You will have the ability to complete trauma informed, support and action plans in collaboration with the woman; to support in addressing their multiple and individual needs and enable them to engage with services, which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.
You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.
