Role Overview:
The Talent Set is delighted to be partnering with a leading charity to appoint an Interim Supporter Care Manager. This 12-month role will see you take the reins of a talented, multi-disciplinary team, ensuring supporters receive an outstanding experience at every touchpoint.

You’ll oversee income handling, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across a busy fundraising and marketing environment. Key Responsibilities:

The Job

The Role

The Role

The Head of Events is a crucial role, with responsibility for the overall strategic and operational leadership of BAUS’s events portfolio, which is their main source of income. The Operations Administrator will work closely with the broader Operations team to provide centralised communication and administrative support, and effective coordination across all aspects of the work of the Operations team.

CSAN is the official agency of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference, tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice affecting people in England and Wales. We’re facing a steep rise in poverty and significant pressures on social, economic and church resources. In 2021, CSAN launched its strategy to extend the social mission of the Church in a post-COVID society. We are developing the infrastructure of the social action network of the Church in England and Wales, including new alliances for diocesan Caritas agencies, advocacy and migration. As our Senior Officer for Migration, you will help to raise awareness of migration issues from the perspective of Catholic Social Teaching and lead on our Ambassadors Programme against Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery, as well as prepare briefings and campaign responses to Government legislation.

Over the last 20 years, CSAN has established a network of 50 diocesan and direct service charities, with a combined annual expenditure on social mission estimated at £400m, excluding the work of schools and religious congregations. Our members build up local community life in diverse ways, and many of them support individuals in difficulty, including with housing, prison and detention, social isolation, ill-health, violence, disability, employment, care, therapeutic and welfare support.

The key responsibilities of the Senior Migration Officer are:

1. To provide timely information to the CSAN team and the network on UK Government resettlement programmes and legislation on immigration.

2. To support CSAN’s work to improve public policy and practice on immigration, with compelling evidence from our network, and enabling effective participation in advocacy for a humane system.

3. To work closely with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales on issues of migration and human trafficking.

4. To lead the implementation of the Gubay-

funded CSAN Ambassadors against Human Trafficking programme, preparing and delivering programme materials.

About the role:

As our Finance Manager you will be at the heart of the charity’s operations and play a vital role in helping to achieve our strategic objectives. Working closely with the Director of Operations and CEO, your role and expertise will be pivotal in driving excellence and integrity in financial management and strategic financial decision-making.

Your responsibilities will be to lead the entire financial lifecycle, from budgeting and forecasting, to the delivery of WellChild’s audit and the production of the charity’s Annual Report & Accounts to the appropriate standards.

What are we looking for:

You will be a qualified accountant with a proven track record of financial management and a solid understanding of charity accounting (including SORP and Charity VAT) and statutory accounts preparation. You will have strong analytical skills, a strong attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate both operational and strategic thinking.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the charity to support robust financial governance and ensure transparency in the management of financial operations. Your ability to interpret, analyse and communicate financial data will be key in informing decision-making and presenting clear, accessible reports to a range of stakeholders, including trustees and funders.

You will be confident using financial systems and tools such as Sage 50, Excel, and spreadsheets, and will consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Highly organised and detail-oriented, you will be able to work independently while upholding the values and integrity of the organisation.

As the main finance role for the charity (supported by the Operations Team) you will be an excellent communicator, an emotionally intelligent and diligent team player who takes pride in their work and enjoys a diverse workload.

In this role, you will build and manage a portfolio of mid-to-high net worth UK donors (typically giving between £1,000 and £10,000), cultivating deep relationships and delivering income growth. This role involves strategic planning, meaningful engagement, and securing donations that fund Toybox’s vital work with children in street situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 75-150 mid-to-high value donors and prospects
• Develop and deliver personalised cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans
• Build strong relationships through in-person meetings, calls, and written communications
• Solicit one-off and multi-year gifts, including upgrades and renewals
• Work with the wider fundraising and programme teams to create compelling funding proposals
• Use Donorfy to track supporter engagement, income, and insights
• Support the development of donor-facing materials, updates, and event invitations

We are looking for someone with:

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Individual Giving and/or Philanthropic Fundraising

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an engaging, confident presence
• Results-driven with a track record of securing four and five-figure gifts
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in using CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Donorfy, Raiser’s Edge)
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments
• Passionate about making a positive social impact through charitable giving
• Knowledge of ethical fundraising standards and donor stewardship best practices
• Experience working with philanthropic advisors, family foundations, or legacy donors
