Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank is looking for a compassionate and proactive Client Support Worker to support our Tackling Destitution Together project, in partnership with Citizens Advice H&F.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new, one-year pilot focused on addressing the factors which prevent effective early intervention in the borough and lead to high numbers of disabled people reaching crisis and destitution.
You will work directly with individuals referred by local agencies, taking time to understand their situation, identify root causes, and build personalised plans that connect them to the right support. This role involves ‘handholding’ – a flexible and responsive approach that adapts to each person’s needs to help them move towards long-term stability and independence.
You’ll be part of a small, committed project team aiming to strengthen early intervention in the borough. Your role will include working closely with referring partners, signposting to services, and contributing to data and research to help us understand what works and why.
Your experience will show a strong ability to build trust, navigate complex systems, and work in partnership with other organisations. You’ll be a clear communicator, well-organised, and motivated by making a meaningful difference in people’s lives before crisis hits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to clients, carrying out assessments and continued casework support, connecting clients to the right services.
- Deliver practical, personalised help to prevent crisis and support long-term stability.
- Manage referrals, record casework, and track outcomes using AdvicePro.
- Build strong links with referral partners and support the wider project team.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to a safe, effective service.
What You’ll Bring:
- A good understanding of the issues and the systems affecting those at risk of poverty. We do not expect advice-level experience, and this is not an adviser role.
- Experience of working on a 121 basis with disadvantaged, vulnerable or excluded people and have knowledge of local/national advice.
- Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders, preferably within the voluntary sector, including having worked within a team of staff and volunteers.

As a member of the Programmes team, the Programme Lead (Out There Award) will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of the programme across GB.

- Lead on the design, development and operational delivery of the Out There Award programme across GB.

This is a new, pivotal strategic role to shape future policy and practice in how faith communities support social prescribing for the benefit of local communities. Responsible for keeping the Volunteering Team SharePoint up to date, collating regular team updates and supporting on the organisation, administration and delivery of meeting and events
Provide expert advice on the subject matter of Volunteering to colleagues across the organisation.

The Fundraising Writer will help ensure the Partnerships & Philanthropy (P&P) Team has access to the information and assets needed to drive income generation and to meet our goals.
In this dynamic role you'll craft a range of compelling and creative fundraising materials. Using your excellent communication skills, you will collaborate with colleagues across the charity to understand their work and translate into high quality propositions, cases for support, and other inspirational collateral for the P&P audience. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the internal communication team at London Fire Brigade. The team is in the process of modernising and streamlining the organisation’s communication channels to improve the experience for firefighters, other operational colleagues, and headquarters teams.
Modernisation and evolution of our digital channels is a key part of our ambition. The team is in the process of piloting digital screens in fire stations, with a view to rolling out an agile system to all 102 fire stations across London.
Alongside this, the team is rationalising regular newsletters into more agile online publications, and evaluating opportunities to better use app-based communication within a growing digital channels portfolio. We are continuously improving our SharePoint-based intranet and looking for ways to make it easier and more intuitive for colleagues to find the information they need to do their roles, and to keep up with the latest developments across the Brigade.
The role is London-based and requires at least 40% in-office working to facilitate collaborative working with stakeholders.
This role provides an opportunity for an excellent digital communications practitioner to lead the development and delivery of our internal digital communications strategy, and to extend their capability and experience as part of a can-do, friendly team.

About the Legacy Manager role:
The Public Fundraising team are responsible for recruiting and stewarding new supporters in order to secure long-term income and growth. The fundraising team has real ambition to grow and develop, and Legacy and In-memory giving will form a key part of these plans.
