We offer young women free coaching, feedback on job applications and information to help them get where they want to be. We bring together a network of thousands of young women to support each other, build their self-belief, and have their voices heard. We work with young women to campaign for equality in the workplace. And our research provides insight into what young women’s lives are really like, fuelling our campaigns for change.

About the role
Over the next five years, we’re embarking on an ambitious strategy to grow our fundraising income from around £1 million to £1.7 million. Alongside this, we’re investing significantly from our endowment to expand our campaigning, services, digital capabilities, and core infrastructure.

To help drive fundraising, we’re creating a new senior role: Supporter and Community Engagement Lead. This role will lead our supporter-led fundraising—covering regular giving, digital fundraising campaigns, community fundraising, and legacies—with a focus on expanding our donor base, improving supporter experience, and developing new, insight-led fundraising products.

We know there’s increasing demand from supporters and partners for more creative and meaningful ways to engage with our work. This strategic role brings the expertise and capacity needed to meet that demand—boosting engagement from current supporters and enabling us to reach new audiences.

This is a forward-facing role, ideal for someone who brings fresh thinking, strong external networks, and a deep understanding of sector trends. We’re looking for someone who loves working collaboratively across internal teams and can manage external partners/suppliers to develop bold, insight-led fundraising campaigns that grow income and deepen impact.

This role will work closely with Communications, Campaigns, and Research to ensure our fundraising and mobilisation plans support each other. You will work collaboratively to develop content that supports fundraising, and ensure that fundraising supports our digital engagement goals. This role will partner closely with the Services, Voice & Involvement team to actively involve young women in fundraising, making sure their voices, experiences, and stories are at the heart of how we inspire support and shape our fundraising strategy.

Finance & Operations Manager

As part of this work, our Finance & Operations Team engages with a wide range of people to support the Trust’s vision for Gloucestershire, and our Finance & Operations Manager is integral to this.

We are looking for a Finance & Operations Manager to provide effective financial management, accurate financial reporting and oversee the facilities management of the Trust’s offices. The Finance & Operations Manager will manage a team of 2 and be part of the Trust’s People Manager Team.

Contract terms:

· This role is permanent, and we welcome applications from people looking for full time hours (37.5hrs per week), we will also consider for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Summary of key duties:

Financial Management and Reporting

· Develop, implement and operate monitoring systems for financial forecasting and re-forecasting to support sound decision making.

· Lead on and co-ordinate the annual budgeting and planning process ensuring that information is collected, compiled and reported in a timely manner to the Leadership Team for review and recommendation to the Finance & Audit Committee.

· Produce quarterly and annual internal finance report and management accounts for reporting to the Leadership Team and Finance & Audit Committee, which summarise budget trends, analyse and report variance.

· Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, through liaisons with the Trust’s external auditors for preparing of the SORP financial statements.

Policy and Procedures

· Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of effective procurement policies, procedures and systems ensuring best value is achieved across all activities.

· Lead on the annual insurance renewal process, ensuring appropriate cover is in place and general administration of the Trust’s insurance policies is enacted.

Payroll

· Maintain payroll processing system and run the monthly payroll.

Facilities Management

· Support the development of a 5 year planned preventative maintenance plan for the Trust’s premises, to support budget and resource planning.

· Oversee the management of the Trust’s premises ensuring contracts are in place and appropriately managed to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the building and that all health and safety requirements are met.

Line management responsibilities

· Provide line management to the Finance Co-ordinator and Workplace & Facilities Manager, enacting the Trust’s management processes to ensure that all employees are motivated, supported and enabled to give of their best.

· Contribute to Trust-wide people management policies, procedures and team culture as a member of the People Manger Team.

Essential Knowledge and Experience 

· Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or experience to this level (E).

· Practical knowledge and understanding of management accounting principles and techniques.

· In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting and preparation of financial reports for senior management and compliance purposes.

· Line management experience to foster a productive and supportive team environment.

Summary of skills

· Strong numerical and analytical skills to effectively analyse financial reports.

· Proactive problem-solver, demonstrating high levels of initiative, organisation and flexibility.

· Ability to work meticulously and methodically, demonstrating attention to detail.

· Strong IT skills (demonstrable proficiency in using MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sage 50 Accounts) and the ability to use technology to achieve work plans and objectives.

At Boaz Trust, we believe everyone deserves a safe place to call home. For over 20 years, we’ve provided accommodation and specialist support to people who are facing homelessness and destitution because of their insecure or unresolved immigration status. We’re now looking for a strategic, relationship-driven fundraiser to join our senior team and shape a new phase of growth. As our first Head of Fundraising, you’ll play a vital role in transforming strong but reactive income streams into a thriving, sustainable programme that enables us to support more people, more effectively.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values led high performing organisation. You will be a qualified accountant with proven track record of financial management awareness and a solid understanding of charity audits and statutory accounts preparation. About the role

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

You will lead all aspects of charity financial and resource management for two separate but closely connected charities, the Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) and the Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA), which are supported by a single head office team. We are looking for someone to bring enthusiasm, personal credibility, discretion and sensitivity. You will be ultimately responsible for Finance and Resource Management within the charities.
You will work directly with the trustees of both charities and the wider Senior Leadership Team (SLT) which comprises of the Director of Development, the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) (Director of HR and Programmes), and the Chief Executive. You will have primary responsibility for ensuring that the charities meet their statutory obligations, that financial functions are well ordered and support the work of the charities.
Managing and leading a small and diverse team through high pressure periods including month end, year-end and annual budgeting, you require high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with staff at all levels, often having to mentor the charities’ managers to help them plan and manage their own budgets.
Your financial responsibilities are substantial as you will have overall control and responsibility for all financial matters. You will be thinking both strategically and seeing the big picture, whilst also analysing figures in detail to ensure that the financial management of both charities are sound. The post holder will be contractually based at Hospice House, Britannia Street, London, WC1X 9JG. This role is eligible for the Hospice UK Hybrid Working Arrangement from the start of employment. Our expectation is that you will come to London at least two days each month for team meetings, plus a quarterly ‘all staff’ event, and External Affairs away days a few times a year. The Communications team mostly comes into the office at least once a week.  You may also find it useful to visit member hospices. You can work remotely for the rest of the time. Equally, you may prefer to work from the office full-time.

It’s an exciting time to take on this refreshed role as Digital Marketing Manager at Hospice UK. After significant investment in our digital infrastructure and an overhaul of our communications strategy in recent years, we’re looking for someone to take our digital offering and supporter engagement to the next level.

Line managing a team of two, and with shared oversight of the organisation’s brand, this role leads the delivery of key digital marketing products in the organisation, including our Dying Matters campaign. It’s an influential and visible role within the organisation, and has the great privilege of overseeing the telling of deeply moving human stories of grief and compassion at the end of life.

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for creating a rich and varied online experience for Hospice UK’s supporters. Overseeing our digital marketing and content strategies, you will work with powerful personal stories of hospice care, loss and grief. Your goal is to use these to inspire our public audiences to get behind our mission to make sure end of life care is there for everyone who needs it.

You’ll be a key member of our External Affairs directorate, and you’ll manage our digital content and marketing team, leading the delivery of key campaign and marketing content and products. The team is currently made up of three people. You’ll have a sophisticated understanding of how to get our audiences’ attention through effective use of tools including Meta Business, Google search and email marketing.

We recognise that search engine optimisation (SEO) and user experience are both critical to achieving our business objectives. You’ll lead on planning content that is SEO-optimised to get us appearing in front of as many people as possible, and structured in a way that gives users a top-class online experience.

Our social media channels have undergone a transformation since our brand refresh in May 2024, and are now engaging our supporter base – and those new to hospice care – in a highly effective way. You’ll lead the team that plans and produces content for both our member and supporter-facing social channels, finding new and engaging ways to keep growing our social presence.

We’ve made great strides over the past 18 months in working much more effectively with our Income Generation directorate across appeals, organic social media and paid social marketing campaigns. You’ll be a key part of the continuation and development of our work here, sourcing stories and content that further develops our success in these spaces.

With a highly motivated Membership Engagement team in place to strengthen our position as a membership body with the UK’s 200+ hospices, you’ll collaborate with this team to identify opportunities to work with our members for things like photography and filming, social media, and other campaign-related content.

You’ll have a key input into the delivery of content for Hospice UK’s flagship campaigns including Dying Matters and Hospice Care Week. With shared responsibility for brand development and guardianship, the role has significant visibility across the organisation, requiring strong relationship, motivation and influencing skills.

This is a reshaped role which comes at an exciting and important time in Hospice UK’s digital evolution. We’ve significantly invested in our digital footprint and infrastructure in recent years, with a new website and CRM, and a recently completed digital fundraising and social media strategy review now ready for implementation. As we develop a new organisational strategy, you’ll lead the development of new, audience-led and integrated ways to recruit, engage and mobilise our supporters online.

This is a great opportunity to join us as the new Chief Finance Officer. As the Depaul Group continues to experience growth and increases its impact, you’ll lead the effective financial and governance support provided by DPI to its subsidiaries. You’ll be the leading interface between the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees and other corporate bodies and subsidiaries. What will ideally support your success?

It’s important that you also have experience of current financial reporting requirements and financial management practices, including consolidated financial reporting. Strong IT skills as well as an appreciation and understanding of key HR and ICT challenges in the charity sector are desirable.
