CSAN is the official agency of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference, tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice affecting people in England and Wales. We’re facing a steep rise in poverty and significant pressures on social, economic and church resources. At this time, the Church is called to raise a prophetic voice against poverty and the rhetoric of division and work for the building of a more just society.

In 2021, CSAN launched its strategy to extend the social mission of the Church in a post-COVID society. We are developing the infrastructure of the social action network of the Church in England and Wales, including new alliances for diocesan Caritas agencies, advocacy and migration. As our Senior Officer for Migration, you will help to raise awareness of migration issues from the perspective of Catholic Social Teaching and lead on our Ambassadors Programme against Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery, as well as prepare briefings and campaign responses to Government legislation.

Over the last 20 years, CSAN has established a network of 50 diocesan and direct service charities, with a combined annual expenditure on social mission estimated at £400m, excluding the work of schools and religious congregations. Our members build up local community life in diverse ways, and many of them support individuals in difficulty, including with housing, prison and detention, social isolation, ill-health, violence, disability, employment, care, therapeutic and welfare support.

The key responsibilities of the Senior Migration Officer are:

1. To provide timely information to the CSAN team and the network on UK Government resettlement programmes and legislation on immigration.

2. To support CSAN’s work to improve public policy and practice on immigration, with compelling evidence from our network, and enabling effective participation in advocacy for a humane system.

3. To work closely with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales on issues of migration and human trafficking.

4. To lead the implementation of the Gubay-

funded CSAN Ambassadors against Human Trafficking programme, preparing and delivering programme materials.

5. To support cross-cutting key workstreams and alliances in CSAN, especially the Domestic Abuse alliance and racial justice, in partnership with the Bishops’ Conference.

The work of the small national team requires a high level of integrity and teamwork, respect for and capacity to navigate complex civil and church contexts at pace, and a stable commitment to personal formation and training. Our Senior Migration Officer will bring a professional track record of relevant research and analysis, production of compelling communications, and diligent administration. A satisfactory basic DBS check and references are required.

JUSTICE is looking to recruit an Interim Head of Governance and Operations to join our friendly, values-led team. This is a fixed term post for 12 months (maternity cover) and provides an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of governance and operational management. 

We are looking for an individual who has an interest in the purpose of the charity (to improve the UK justice system so that it is fair and within everyone’s reach), as well as a keen interest in taking responsibility for a diverse and wide range of tasks from providing and overseeing the secretariat functions related to our governance and risk as well as leading in important cross-cutting areas such as audit, budget management and providing HR support. This role will really suit someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with a degree of autonomy and who thrives in a role where no two days are the same. 

This role plays a central role in the workings of the organisation including with our Policy Team, our Comms Team and our Development Team. They also join Senior Management Team meetings and all Board and Committee meetings. The role currently line manages one direct report but this may be increased to two and reports into and works closely with the Chief Executive. This role also leads on the relationships with our accountants (who deliver our financial management and accounting functions) and other external contractors. 

JUSTICE is a law reform and human rights organisation, working to improve processes and policies to support everyone, particularly marginalised groups, be able to seek justice or a remedy when their rights have been breached or the law has been broken. We also seek to improve the justice system as a whole, ensuring that laws are clear and consistent and that the government and other key decisionmakers are held to account.

We are a founding member of The Justice Hub, which is situated next to St Paul’s Cathedral. in London. We also have staff based in other locations including in Manchester, Sheffield and Edinburgh. In addition, this role requires a minimum of 5 days per month working in our London offices. About the Role

This is an exciting new role which will help the Methodist Church in Britain to embed in the life of churches its commitment to be justice-seeking. 

In 2024, the Church adopted a Strategy to embed the Methodist Conference’s Justice-Seeking Church Report in local churches, across the Connexional Team and throughout the life of Methodism. 

The Justice-Seeking Church Officer will shape and develop this work across all levels of the Church in creative and innovative ways, identifying opportunities and responding to challenges.  They will strengthen leadership for justice across churches, and enable collaboration across programmes and issues. Founded in the aftermath of the Second World War, Cumberland Lodge works with young people to understand the causes and impacts of social conflict and division, developing the next generation of leaders to create more just and inclusive futures. Our current programme focuses on four key areas: Youth & Democracy; Rule of Law; Freedom of Religion and Belief; and International Dialogue in the Workplace.

As we approach our 80th anniversary we have ambitious plans to scale up our activities and are looking for an experienced Fundraising Officer with strong storytelling skills and a passion for making a difference.

This is a permanent part-time role, two days a week. The successful candidate will join a thriving organisation as part of a small Programme team under the leadership of the Programme Director.

We are seeking to appoint a strong team player who can also work independently, who is well-organised, with excellent communication and inter-personal skills. They must be able to demonstrate success in fund-raising, and have strong knowledge of the fund-raising landscape in the UK, and preferably internationally. A background of funding raising for education or youth sector organisations would also be desirable.

Alignment with our ethos of addressing social challenges through constructive dialogue is essential.

It is expected that this role can be primarily carried out from home, but attendance one day a month in the offices in Windsor Great Park would be required.

Main Duties:

Funding Development

Research and identify funding opportunities aligned with Cumberland Lodge programmes.

· Write compelling, youth and/or education focused funding applications and proposals.

· Ability to develop full cost recovery budgets and carry out all compliant financial reporting;

Further information

Hours: 14 hours per week (through an annualised hours working pattern).

Location: Remote working although the successful candidate will be expected to work from Cumberland Lodge a minimum of one day per month.  Applicants should be aware that Cumberland Lodge is not easily accessible by public transport, so alternative forms of transport (bicycle, car) are helpful.

Annual leave: 33 days including Bank Holidays which will be pro-rata. The charity is closed over the Christmas period which will be deducted from the leave allocation.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new senior role within our organisation. The Interim Head of Research and Campaigns will lead our Research function and advocacy efforts, ensuring that evidence-based insights drive our campaigns, policy work, and public engagement.

Recently kicking off our new ‘Creating Positive Change Together’ strategy, coproduced by over 130 staff, volunteers, clients and partners, Groundswell has ambitious plans around influencing more change and amplifying voices to promote healthier lives and a better future for anyone who has experienced homelessness. This role directly aligns with these strategic plans, to refine and use innovative participatory research centring lived experience, share and amplify insight from people with experience of homelessness, and increase our campaigning activities to change systems and break down the barriers that stand in people’s way to a healthier life and more hopeful future.

This role has been created on an interim basis to assess its impact and effectiveness, with a key focus on reviewing the priorities, progression and support of our Research Team and making recommendations for the future regarding this new role. The role will sit within the wider Participation, Progression and Creating Change team. 

We anticipate that some form of Head of Research & Campaigning role will continue beyond this 12-month period, and this interim position will very much shape and inform that longer term role.

Line Manager Responsibility for: Professional Communities Co-ordinator

Location: This is a remote UK-based role with regular travel to CST’s national and regional events, mainly in Birmingham and London. Candidates within reasonable travel distance to these locations are preferred.

Salary: £41,603 - £45,470 a year.

Pension: We offer a workplace pension and life assurance scheme. CST makes contributions equivalent to 10% of your gross salary.

Annual leave: Initially 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with an additional two days leave after three years’ service.

Working hours: Full-time 37.5 hours.

Job overview

The Professional Communities Manager leads the development, content curation, and operational delivery of CST’s 11 Professional Communities. These networks, events, and forums are a core benefit of CST membership and are provided free of charge to members.

This is a proactive, member-focused role that blends operational excellence with strategic content oversight. The postholder will work directly with community chairs, subject experts, community supporters, CST platinum partners and members to ensure that all communities are vibrant, professionally hosted, and deliver high-quality, relevant content.

The role also plays a key part in ensuring a joined-up approach to content across CST’s full range of activities, working closely with the professional learning and conference teams and partnerships to ensure alignment and maximise value for members.

Key responsibilities

 Strategic Development and Continuous Improvement

• Develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen the value, engagement, and content of CST Professional Communities.
• Set clear objectives and KPIs to monitor success and drive continuous improvement of community services.
• Regularly evaluate community activity, identifying ways to increase engagement, relevance, and impact for members.

Community Content Curation and Management

• Oversee the quality, consistency, and relevance of content across all 11 Professional Communities, ensuring alignment with member priorities and organisational objectives.
• Work in partnership with community chairs, subject experts, community supporters and CST’s platinum partnerships to proactively commission, curate, and quality-assure community content (e.g., webinars, blogs, resources, discussions).
• Work closely with the professional learning and conference teams to ensure a joined-up, coherent approach to content across CST activity, avoiding duplication and enhancing overall member value.
• Identify content gaps and work creatively, including drawing upon resources and contacts within the policy and partnership team to address them, ensuring a balanced and evolving programme across the communities.

Community Engagement and Facilitation

• Lead and facilitate virtual and in-person community events, ensuring professional delivery and high-quality member interaction.
• Support and brief speakers, chairs, and contributors to ensure a consistently excellent experience for members.
• Actively promote member engagement through community platforms and other channels, driving participation and interaction.

 Stakeholder Relationships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with CST members, community chairs, speakers, and supporters.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues across membership, communications, professional learning, policy, and conference teams to maximise the impact of community activities.
• Manage relationships with sponsors where appropriate, ensuring alignment with CST values.

Digital Platform and Event Management

• Oversee the effective use of digital and platforms (including CiviCRM and Hivebrite,) to host communities, deliver events, and share content.
• Manage operational aspects of events and online communities, ensuring smooth logistics and excellent user experience.

Data, Insight, and Reporting

• Monitor and report on community engagement, content performance, and member feedback, using data to guide improvements.
• Lead the ongoing development of data processes for the communities, ensuring accurate insights are captured and shared.

Team Leadership and Development

• Manage, develop, and support the Professional Communities Coordinator, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Encourage learning and development across the team to ensure consistently excellent member service.

Adaptability and Wider Contribution

• Contribute to broader membership engagement strategies and initiatives.
• Undertake any other duties as required by the Director of Membership to support CST’s mission

Trust fundraising at Battersea has grown significantly over the past few years, from £1m in 2022 to £2.75m in 2025. Working closely with the Trusts Officer and Trusts Lead, you will secure vital funding from Trusts and Foundations to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally.

As the Trusts Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of five-figure Trust donors and take ownership of relationships to secure funding from both existing and new supporters. You will also support the Trusts Officer to deliver bi-annual Small Trusts Mailings and the Trusts Lead to deliver significant partnerships.

You will be proactive and motivated, with a passion for animal welfare and an aptitude for building relationships. You are a strong communicator with excellent writing skills which will enable you - with support from the team - to craft compelling funding proposals that resonate with donors.

Governance Administrator & Clerk to the Board Vacancy

The Governance Administrator & Clerk to the Board will provide an exceptionally high level of governance and administrative support to the School’s Boards and Committees and the Board of Directors for Rambert Grades (a joint venture between the School and Rambert). The post-holder will utilise current and relevant technology and AI (such as Microsoft 365 Bookings and CoPilot) to schedule meetings, prepare agendas and supporting papers and take accurate and detailed minutes, to help ensure good governance and compliance.

This job requires a meticulous individual, with a flair for writing accurate and detail-oriented minutes. The postholder will have excellent organisational skills, an appetite for hard work, an eye for detail and a desire to work in the Higher Education or Charity sector. They will actively promote and uphold the School’s mission and values and will always exercise a high level of good judgment, diplomacy and discretion, in respect of the confidential and often sensitive information that they are party to. They will work effectively and build strong relationships with senior leadership and the Board of Trustees.

Hours

Part-time – 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week)
Flexible annualised working pattern available to suit the needs of the role and the postholder (e.g., working parents). Weekly hours may vary based on workload demands, with increased hours during peak Board and Committee meeting periods (January, March, May/June, October/November) and reduced hours during school holidays. Monthly salary remains consistent.

The Performance Marketing Specialist will deliver, optimise and evaluate Battersea’s digital advertising campaigns, specialising in paid digital advertising channels such as Meta and TikTok.
