We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to grow and develop new long-term partnerships with employers across the UK, focusing on Apprentices, Graduates, and Future Leaders. You’ll be helping businesses invest in the next generation of talent by connecting them with Outward Bound’s experiential learning programmes that accelerate personal growth, resilience, teamwork, and leadership in early careers cohorts.
Your focus will be on building strong relationships, understanding workforce development needs, and positioning Outward Bound as the partner of choice for early talent development.
Occasional evening, weekend, and overnight work will be required as part of the role, including attending client visits, taster sessions, and visits to our Outward Bound Centres.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external professionals. A strong understanding of the apprenticeship and graduate development programmes, and talent pipelines.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects and maintain consistent follow-up.
- Confident in presenting to clients, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences (HR, L&D, operational teams, senior leadership).
- Good negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experienced in LinkedIn / LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting and building connections within early careers networks.
- Proficient in Microsoft systems and CRM tools.
- Knowledge of or interest in experiential learning, leadership development, and outdoor education is an advantage.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Secure mainly new and some key repeat business to meet personal, and team, quarterly and annual targets.
- Lead on developing new partnerships within key industry sectors for Apprentice, Graduate, and Emerging Leader programmes.
- Undertake client learning needs analysis to understand early career development goals and challenges.
- Produce compelling proposals that align Outward Bound programmes with organisational objectives.
- Represent Outward Bound at early careers events, conferences, and employer network sessions.
- Maintain accurate client records via our CRM system and ensure timely follow-up and reporting.
- Liaise with internal delivery and marketing teams to ensure client needs are met and opportunities are maximised.
- Drive new business through research, networking, referrals, and sector insights.
- Contribute ideas to help shape Outward Bound’s early careers strategy and offer to stay relevant in a fast-changing employment landscape.
Salary: £32,000 – £40,000, salary depending on experience

CAMPAIGNS ASSISTANT - Full-time permanent position (open to part-time applicants)
Salary: Circa £23,000 full time dependent on experience. Full time is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Job Description
Are you passionate about animals and looking for a job in campaigning, public policy change, public affairs and stakeholder relations? As Campaigns Assistant, you’ll support the delivery of impactful campaigns led by our Campaign Managers and support high-profile projects like World Animal Day and various events.
To be considered, we’ll be looking for motivated, resilient candidates with relevant experience or skills developed in an animal welfare (or related) degree or more general public policy and campaigning. The successful candidate would need to be organised, with a sharp eye for detail, able to deliver projects on time, whilst working as part of a team. You’ll need a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise, as no day is ever the same.
This is a full time or part time permanent role offering a salary around £23,000, depending on skills and experience.

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit three Analysts for the EU Portfolio to join their team in London or Brussels. Theese are exciting opportunities to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution in these newly created roles.
As an Analyst in the EU Portfolio you will play a critical role in Clean Air Fund supporting delivery of projects at both pan-European and national level across nine Member States in the European Union. This includes project and grant management, as well as the design and management of partnerships with a wide variety of grantee partners including civil society organisations, research institutions (think-tanks and universities) and industry. The geographical scope of these grants will be at the national level and / or the pan-European level. You will work on projects across the two-year programme on AAQD transposition and implementation as part of the Europe team under the guidance of Project Director in a matrix system. Tasks will combine managing and supporting a set of grants, as well as managing and supporting a wide range of projects and workstreams across the breath of the organization.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience;
- Experience in project management for an international non-governmental organisation or a philanthropic organisation in Europe.
- Experience in working on environment, health and/or air quality issues.
- Experience in networking and building strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Articulate and proficient in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in additional European languages is considered a significant asset, including French, Spanish, Italian, Romanian, German or Greek.
- Evidence of capacity to work in range of cultural and socio-economic contexts, adapting style and approach appropriately and in a culturally sensitive manner. As we prepare to launch an ambitious £150 million philanthropic campaign, we are seeking a strategic and driven Prospect Development Manager to lead the delivery of insight-driven prospect management across the Philanthropy and Partnerships Directorate.
You will play a critical role in creating a steady pipeline of new potential supporters for the fundraising teams, as well as helping shape the data and analytics strategy that will measure the impact of our campaign.
You will ensure that business-as-usual activity—such as briefing materials, due diligence, fundraiser portfolio reviews, prospect research, and insight—is delivered to a high standard, with the understanding that over the course of the campaign, these activities will be undertaken primarily in service of the campaign itself, rather than in addition to it
This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and is passionate about understanding and engaging supporters who make transformational change possible.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Strategy and Planning
· Develop and implement the prospect development strategy to support the successful delivery of a new High Value campaign and long-term income growth.
· Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between, BAU, campaign goals and supporter engagement strategies.
· Lead on campaign data reporting, impact measurement, and forecasting to inform decision-making across the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships teams.
· Ensure the team are maximising the power of AI within Prospect Development.
· Own the campaign Gift Table and utilise it as a key management tool.
· Lead on the strategic planning, income pipeline modelling, and campaign progress reporting.
· Proactively identify, assess, and manage operational and strategic risks within the team, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulations.
Prospect Management and Research
· Lead the identification, qualification, and tracking of new major donor and partner prospects across individual, corporate, and foundation giving.
· Design processes to engage volunteers and donors in identifying their key contacts who might be strong major prospects
· Lead on the design and delivery of regular portfolio reviews for relationship managers, using data and insight to optimise pipelines.
· Produce and manage the delivery of high-quality biographies, briefings, and due diligence for meetings and events.
· Work collaboratively with fundraisers to proactively identify new opportunities and ensure prospects are moved through the pipeline efficiently.
· Work with our Research team on potential and current Research Partners, allowing us to be strategic across all of our high value audiences.
· Maintain and continuously improve prospect tracking systems and data quality.
Campaign Insight and Impact
· Design and oversee reporting mechanisms that track the performance and progress of the campaign.
· Provide regular insight and trend analysis to campaign leadership and fundraising teams.
· Use data and supporter intelligence to shape cultivation and solicitation strategies.
Team Management
· Manage and develop a small, high-performing team (currently two direct reports), setting clear goals, providing coaching, and supporting professional development.
· Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and supporter-centric thinking.
· Ensure a consistent and high-quality service is provided to fundraisers and stakeholders across the organisation.
What we are looking for:

Development Manager
Purpose of the Role
The Development Manager will play a vital role in expanding The Churchill Fellowship’s income from Trusts, Foundations, and other institutional funders. Working closely with the Development Director, the post holder will identify, cultivate and secure new funding partnerships that support our core Fellowship programme, unrestricted income, and the Activate Programme in line with our organisational priorities.
The postholder will manage the full funder journey, from initial engagement to long-term stewardship, ensuring all relationships are grown and managed professionally and effectively. They will work closely with relevant departments to coordinate proposals, reports, and communications, helping maintain strong connections with funders.
Key responsibilities
Prospecting and Pipeline Development
- Research and identify new potential supporters, primarily from the Trusts & Foundations sector, with some engagement of aligned individuals or family-foundation prospects in conjunction with the wider Development Team.
- Support the Development Director in delivering targeted cultivation and engagement strategies to grow new income streams.
- Build and maintain a healthy, dynamic pipeline of qualified new business opportunities.
- Monitor sector trends to identify emerging supporters and new partnership opportunities
Approaches and Proposal Development
- Prepare tailored, persuasive funding proposals, applications, and cases for support, drawing on internal expertise and materials.
- Lead on initial engagement with new prospects, coordinating meetings, briefings and follow-up communications.
- Manage the cultivation process ensuring prospects receive timely and professional engagement throughout.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals are accurate, evidence-based and aligned with organisational objectives.
Relationship Management
- Act as the key contact for donors and funders secured through this role, managing relationships and ensuring continuity of communication.
- Work closely with the Development Director, Appeal Director and CEO to coordinate senior-level involvement in funder engagement where appropriate.
- Ensure accurate monitoring, evaluation and reporting for all grants, providing timely updates and impact information to funders. Liaise with colleagues across the organisation to identify when and how internal contacts or senior volunteers can support prospect engagement, ensuring this complements any existing relationships or approaches.
Internal Collaboration and Systems
- Record all activity in Salesforce, ensuring accurate data capture on all prospect and funder activity.
- Contribute to income forecasting and team reporting
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to align fundraising approaches with strategic initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and shared priorities.
General
- Ensure fundraising activity complies with relevant regulations, GDPR, and due diligence processes and ethical fundraising policies
- Support Development team events and activities as required, occasionally outside normal working hours.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably required by the Development Director to support the success of the team and organisation.
Person Specification
Qualification:
- Degree level or equivalent transferable skills - Desirable
Skills and Experience
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a fundraising, grants or donor facing role, particularly prospecting new funders
- Proven success in securing funding from Trusts & Foundations or HNWIs, particularly new business (one-off or multiyear grants and repeat grants)
- Strong experience in research & prospect identification for trusts/foundations or major donors
- Excellent proposal/application writing, with ability to tailor cases to funder priorities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills — able to engage funders at senior levels and with colleagues internally
- Strong organisational skills, managing multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and using it to manage pipeline / prospect data
- Ability to interpret and present information (budgets, impact data, reports) clearly to funders and internal stakeholders

Executive Support to CEO:

The Role
We're seeking an experienced, highly organised professional to take on a pivotal role leading the coordination and delivery of two of Julie’s Bicycle's flagship international training programmes: ITER and Creative Climate Changemakers (CCC) (formerly Creative Climate Leadership - CCL).This blended role is critical for ensuring the smooth operation and high-quality delivery of both programmes. It demands a blend of exceptional project management expertise and a passion for supporting and facilitating transformative climate action within the cultural sector.
You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from strategic co-design of the ITER curriculum as well as facilitating the ITER training. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of logistics, partnerships, and finance across both programmes (ITER and CCC). This includes leading the coordination for a week-long residential CCC programme in Switzerland in March 2026 (attendance and facilitation for the CCC residential won’t be required) and managing the ongoing delivery of the ITER programme. Your ability to maintain clear communication with international partners like Ver Le Futur and In futurum, as well as with funders and programme participants, will be key to success. Programme overviews
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering two of our core training programmes:

Creative Climate Changemakers (CCC) (formerly Creative Climate Leadership) has been running in different formats since 2017. CCC is an international training, support and transformation programme which empowers artists, artivists and cultural change-makers to take action on the climate and ecological crisis with impact, creativity, and resilience.
CCC strengthens the extraordinary climate leadership already energising the creative and cultural ecosystem everywhere. Through deep immersion in the themes, creativity as a practice and the community as a whole, CCC champions a systems approach orientated towards justice and inclusion. Creative Climate Change-makers represent an exceptional international cohort; many projects, companies and careers are flourishing as a result of the programme, with national cultural policies responding to this new field of practice led by over 200 CCL alumni from all five continents. -
International Touring and Environmental Responsibility (ITER) Programme: Now entering into its fifth year the ITER programme is a partnership between Arts Council England, Arts and Culture Norway and the Danish Arts Foundation, and aims to foster new international collaborations and connections between the participating countries. ITER consists of two training programmes running in parallel; a course for beginners and a course for Changemakers, followed by an opportunity for participants to collaborate and apply for project funding. The programme is directed at touring professionals in the creative sector, focusing on sustainability. To date, 137 organisations and individual artists have taken part in the programme. Many are now leading the way by re-imagining conventional models of touring, putting environmental and social sustainability at the heart of what they do, and bringing important new learning to the sector.
Key Responsibilities
Project management and administration

Manage the day-to-day project management and administration for both the CCC and ITER programmes.

Ensure smooth coordination and clear partnership roles (R&Rs) are maintained with key partners for each programme, including Ver Le Futur (Switzerland) for CCC and In futurum for ITER, along with other partners and funders.

The Campaigns and Alumni Relations Office (CAR) at the University of Sheffield is dedicated to inspiring alumni (former students) to make philanthropic gifts, as well as giving their time and expertise. As part of CAR, the Individual Giving team encourages people to make gifts of up to £10,000 using a data-driven approach and a range of communication channels. We’re looking for a skilful communicator and project manager to join us.
The Individual Giving Manager will deliver a multi-channel fundraising strategy to encourage people to give at ‘mid-value’ level (£1,000-£10,000 each year) through direct mail and digital fundraising You’ll also support the wider team by project managing mass fundraising appeals that solicit gifts of all sizes by direct mail and email.
You’ll also be responsible for producing stewardship communications, including reports, that thank donors giving over £1,000.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Deliver a multi-channel fundraising strategy to encourage people to give at ‘mid-value’ level (£1,000-£10,000 each year) through direct mail and digital fundraising.
- Manage and build an active portfolio of individuals capable of making mid-value gifts, engaging this group with tailored communications.
- Make direct asks for donations to priority projects at the University. Current appeals include student scholarships, student hardship funds and medical research.
- Project manage direct response fundraising appeals that ask for gifts at all levels (including cash gifts under £1,000 and regular gifts by direct debit) and ensure appeals deliver a strong return on investment.
- Across all fundraising activities, manage relationships with external and internal agencies and internal teams that support your work. Develop clear project plans and briefs, as well as ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.
- Deliver against individual and shared fundraising targets to help the Individual Giving team raise up to £1 million ‘cash in’ per year.
- Ensure ‘mid-value’ donors are stewarded through a programme of activities, including reports, that demonstrate the impact of their support and inspire repeat giving.
- Utilise data insight and audience knowledge to segment and personalise communications for priority groups, including preparing spreadsheets of data for appeals.
- Work closely with other fundraisers within CAR to move individuals through the donation pipeline in order to grow and uplift gifts.
- Ensure that gifts are solicited and accepted in line with the University’s ethical policies.
- Maintain accurate records of relationships and ensure information gathered is available to other members of Campaigns & Alumni Relations.
- Stay on top of best practice in fundraising and promote excellence in fundraising across the CAR office.

How you will make a difference
We are looking for a Research and Operations Manager to join our passionate fundraising team. You will play a pivotal role in driving high-value fundraising outcomes across Rethink Mental Illness and Mental Health UK by delivering a strategic, insight-led approach to prospect research and portfolio management.
Managing the Senior Philanthropy and Research Officer you will oversee the identification, qualification and prioritisation of prospects across Philanthropy, Trusts & Grants and Corporate Partnerships. You will lead on due diligence processes, prospect pipeline management, connection mapping and the development of systems and tools that enable data-driven decision-making. Working closely with senior fundraisers and the Interim Head of Trusts and Philanthropy, you will ensure teams have the intelligence and insights needed to build strong, meaningful donor relationships.

Platform’s North Sea Workers’ Transition project is building towards a managed phase-out of oil and gas extraction in the UK North Sea. We’re organising for an energy industry that protects the rights and livelihoods of the current oil and gas workforce and directs wealth back to communities, especially those impacted by industrial change.
We have been working with offshore oil and gas workers and their unions for 5+ years. In 2023, we published a groundbreaking set of 10 demands for a just energy transition away from fossil fuels co-created with offshore workers: Our Power: offshore workers’ demands for a just energy transition. Since publishing the report we have launched public advocacy and media campaigns based on these demands - working alongside industrial trade unions, national and grassroots climate groups, and oil and gas workers. We coordinate a first-of-its-kind coalition of industrial unions and climate groups working together on national worker transition demands.
As living conditions continue to decline and the climate crisis deepens, we are looking for a motivated and creative campaigner, who is able to lead the next stage of the project, and who has a strong understanding of anti-oppression and energy justice.
About the role
The Worker Transition Campaigns Manager will work closely with our Worker Organiser and Public and Community Ownership Campaigner, supported by our Organising and Advocacy Lead, Research Lead and Communications Lead.
You will be responsible for strategising, project managing and delivering the project. Activities will look like:
- Coordinating an existing coalition of climate groups and trade unions, including holding relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders across movements;
- Developing and delivering political advocacy and public campaigns strategies to win Our Power demands - including public ownership of energy - at a UK and Scottish Government level;
- Supporting the work of Platform’s Worker Organiser(s) to build links with energy workers and involve them in media, political meetings and/or campaigning activities.
This post would sit within Platform’s internal collective management structure and would therefore be expected to support the collective management of the organisation in addition to finance and fundraising-related responsibilities. This includes line managing 1-2 staff members after the 6 month probation period and attending collective management meetings.
Role Details
Hours: 4 days (32 hours) based on a 40 hour work week (5 x 8 hour days including a 1hr lunch break).

Salary: £36,824.41 for 4 days (32 hours) per week (£46,030.51 FTE) is our baseline salary, adjustable according to our Socially Just Waging System. Terms and conditions apply.

Most Platform staff are supported to work from home most of the time, but all permanent members of staff are expected to attend in-person meetings 3-4 times a year, usually at the London office, and other in-person meetings when required.
