PCS is looking to appoint a Technology Services Officer to the Technology Services Team.
The post will support the Technology Services Managers to create a skilled and effective team providing development, technical support and training to staff and other users in all aspects of digital and ITT services.
You will have a qualification in or experience of working with digital platforms or customer relationship management systems. All postholders will need training to acquire the ADX Administrative Essentials for New Admins in Lightning Experience certification, if not already held.

Successful candidates for the Technology Services Officer will be able to demonstrate:

Main duties and responsibilities
1. Systems Management General
- Assist the line manager by monitoring development initiatives and ensuring work completed meets the requirements within the given time frame. Report to line manager as appropriate
- Assist in preparing reports for line manager on system performance highlighting potential risks or malfunctions
- Assist in ensuring commissioned and installed new applications and customised existing applications are fit for purpose
- Support line manager by making as appropriate where new systems are designed that could be applicable to the wider union
- Assist in the development of a high level of proficiency in PCSs Technology tools e.g. our CRM, membership database, digital applications, bulk email and social media platforms
- Work as part of the Technology Services team on the database and integration, automation and change projects
- Assist the Technology Services team in development to deliver high quality digital solutions
- Ensure that the views of users are reflected throughout the development and delivery of digital applications
- Explore and recommend new digital applications and developments to the Technology Services team based on best practice and user feedback

- Provide regular updates to the Head of Sport regarding the implementation of the ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy; identifying and communicating potential and actual risks in a timely manner
- Proactively identify and develop key strategic performance partnerships both within the UK and overseas to support delivery of organisational objectives
- Deputise for the Head of Sport in his / her absence at key meetings and activities on an agreed basis

Games Services Strategy
Responsible for the management and effective delivery of identified elements of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy including:
- Management of team data and the development of ParalympicsGB Base, including budget management.

- Management of selecting the team including support to all Paralympic sports with selection policies and processes.
- Management of accrediting the team for the ParalympicsGB delegation, including collaboration with Games Operations in updating the Delegation Overview.

Team Development Strategy:

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

About the role
This role will involve building relationships with current and new corporate donors to ensure we can resource all the material donations we need to run the Crisis at Christmas centres in London. Each year, we source gift in kind donations ranging from food and beverages to clothing, hairdressing equipment and toiletries. This is a varied role that involves researching donors, communicating with large corporate companies, managing volunteers, and running our yearly community donations drive.

- Previous fundraising, project or event coordination or marketing experience.

The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a Society of over 1,700 members from 100 countries, who work in, or are interested in tropical medicine and global health.
RSTMH organises and participates in events as a crucial way of showcasing, discussing, and debating key areas of tropical medicine and global health research and practice. Our range of events are wide. We deliver conferences and webinars, social events, research meetings for early career professionals, and high-profile debates and discussions. They happen across the UK and around the world, both online and in person. Our events add to the impact of our work in tropical medicine and global health, but also raise funds to allow us to continue our work as a charity.
The Meetings and Events Manager would lead on the delivery of the RSTMH meeting and events strategy. The role requires a self-starter who is excited by the prospect of working on such a broad range of meetings and events. The candidate needs to have excellent communication and relationship building skills, and to be organised, flexible with a great attention to detail. They should be comfortable liaising with venues for meetings space, developing budgets for events, managing logistical aspects of the events programme and setting up new events online and in person.
Main responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the meetings and events programme, achieving its financial and other goals and KPIs under the existing strategy

You will have the ability to work with staff across the organisation in supporting good financial governance and oversight of financial operational matters. You will have the ability to analyse financial information and present this in a suitable format for the audience. You will have good ability to meet deadlines, be IT literate with an emphasis on financial systems, spreadsheets, Quickbooks and Excel. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.
About the role
The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

About the role
The Passage’s philanthropy portfolio has grown significantly over the last three years through dedicated relationship management and compelling applications that have brought to life the fantastic work and outcomes achieved by The Passage’s services. A recent audit of our Trusts and Foundations programme identified further opportunities for growth with both newly created and well-established funders.
The Passage’s new three-year strategy, The Art of the Possible, is based around the themes of prevention, convening and sustaining, and highlights the importance of collaboration. The Fundraising, Communications and Trading team are seeking a passionate, articulate, and experienced individual to further enhance and sustain our trusts and foundations income stream so that The Passage can support more people to find a place to call home.
Main duties
- Lead relationships with a portfolio of trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies to establish a robust pipeline of sustainable income.
- Provide effective stewardship of existing trust donors and prospects to ensure repeat gifts and to increase support where relevant.
- Create innovative opportunities and develop funding proposals that match funding opportunities to The Passage’s range of services.
- Develop an annual prospect pipeline with the aim of securing sustainable, multi-year income.
- Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager to prepare accurate annual budgets, forecasts, and income phasing.
- Maintain accurate records on the Salesforce database and ensure donor records are compliant.
General responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Senior Philanthropy Manager to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of The Passage.
- To participate in internal/external meetings as required, attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.
- To participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal, and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.
- To ensure that all The Passage policies and procedures are being adhered to, particularly those relating to Code of Practice and Confidentiality.
- To contribute to the effective implementation of The Passage’s Diversity and Equality Policy as it affects both The Passage and its work with vulnerable adults.

Desired experience
- Experience of writing successful fundraising applications and proposals.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving financial targets from trusts and foundations, grant-making bodies, and major donor supporters.
- Experience of cultivating new prospects and converting them to become warm. donors.
- Proven stewardship skills with the ability to inspire and retain support from trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies.
- Ability to undertake in-depth prospect research and data analysis.
Desired knowledge
- Up to date knowledge of trust and foundation prospects, particularly those most suited to supporting the work of The Passage.
- Able to understand budgets and summarise financial information.
- Knowledge and expertise of working with CRM systems to effectively manage donor relationships.

Prospectus are excited to be working with our client to help them recruit for a Trusts Manager to join their fundraising team. The charity was set up in December 2003 to ensure that bereaved children and their families receive the best possible support following the death of a loved one. They are a leading UK bereavement charity, providing free, professional services and support to more than 3,000 bereaved children, young people and their families a year. They predominantly work in London, but also in Bristol and Essex, and provide a national reach through their helpline ‘grieftalk’ and through the distribution of Grief Relief Kits.
The role is offered on a permanent basis with a salary of £38,000 to £40,000 per annum with a flexible hybrid working model between home and their London office.
The post holder will be responsible for researching and applying for relevant funding streams to exceed the fundraising team’s annual target. They will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent working relationships with a portfolio of current and prospective funders. The postholder will work with colleagues to package existing services into compelling proposals as well as supporting with developing new project proposals.
They are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of securing 5-figure grants and donations within a Trusts and Foundations team. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in writing high-quality applications, reporting on the impact of funded projects, and managing relationships with funders. The ideal candidate will have a personal interest to develop knowledge and understanding of childhood bereavement and the organisation's services, as well as their costs and funding needs, to be able to talk confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
