Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a brilliant health charity on a fantastic Project Manager - Public Affairs and Policy role. Working within a health policy and influencing project, the successful candidate will help coordinate data and insight work, stakeholder engagement, and a structured tender process to support publication planning. This is a 3 day a week role for 3-4 months.

Key Responsibilities

Setting up and managing project plans, documentation and tracking spreadsheets
Coordinate and support external agencies through research/data analysis phases, including preparing documentation for subsequent phases
Plan and oversee tender activities, ensuring paperwork and processes are accurate and completed to deadline
Organise stakeholder engagement, including surveys with healthcare professionals and roundtables, providing clear logistics and communications
Support report drafting and summarising insights into clear deliverables for publication planning
Liaise with internal technical leads to capture requirements and translate inputs into written outputs
Track publication timelines and manage changes as findings emerge

Person Specification

Strong organisational and planning capability, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts and stakeholders
Project management experience within a public affairs, policy or communications team
Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear summaries and supporting documentation
Confident stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging with a range of professionals and volunteers
Experience managing research, comms-related projects, or influencing activity with clear deliverables and deadlines
Practical digital confidence (e.g., MS Office, email)
Collaborative, flexible approach, with professionalism and empathy for time-constrained participants

What’s on Offer
Salary: £54,000-£55,000, pro rata for 3 days a week, for 3-4 months. This role will ideally see someone in their London office once a month, but this isn't essential.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Team: Delivery NCN

As the Network Development Manager, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and reviewing National Cycle Network infrastructure projects across Devon and Cornwall. Your work will need to match the goals of the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust and meet required inclusive active travel standards.

This role brings together technical knowledge, project management, community engagement, and strategic thinking. You will work closely with a range of people, both inside and outside the organisation, to help deliver projects that are effective and long-lasting.

You work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful and sustainable active travel outcomes

What You’ll Be Doing

Take the lead in managing and delivering NCN infrastructure projects. This includes planning, design, construction, and reviewing how well the project was delivered once completed.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with external partners and local authorities. Work together with them to develop active travel infrastructure projects collaboratively.

Plan, organise, and take part in community engagement activities. This helps make sure projects are developed in a collaborative and inclusive way.

Review and analyse information from policies, audits, surveys, and site visits. Use this information to create technical reports, feasibility studies, and progress updates.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating a real change for walking, wheeling and cycling in Devon and Cornwall, connecting people and places and providing traffic-free spaces for everyone to enjoy.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who has experience and understanding in the areas listed below. You don’t need to meet every requirement — if you feel you’d be a good fit, we encourage you to apply.

Good practical knowledge of active travel infrastructure and how it is designed and delivered. This includes an understanding of spatial planning and transport planning.

Experience of managing infrastructure projects. Able to organise work, plan, and prioritise tasks across more than one project at the same time.

Strong communication skills, both spoken and written. This includes giving presentations, writing clear technical reports, being able to explain ideas, and influence others.

The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and adults at risk.

We are looking for a highly organised, detail oriented and dynamic Project Manager for Assurance & Improvement. In this role you will plan, coordinate, and support delivery of national audit, assurance, and continual improvement activity. Using effective project management, you will ensure that audits, quality assurance, non-conformance actions, and improvement plans are tracked, reported, and delivered to agreed standards and timescales.

This is a part-time role (20 hours per week), home based, with proposed working hours of 10am-2pm Monday-Friday. These hours are subject to negotiation with the successful candidate; working Monday - Friday is a requirement of the role.

This role is a new opportunity to work as part of Victim Support's Quality & Compliance team, supporting the team to oversee and improve the quality of Victim services across England & Wales.

About the Role

As a Project Manager for Quality & Compliance, you will provide support across the team's functions, including audit and compliance data reporting, and will lead on driving continual improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Support - Provide project management support for the delivery of internal audits and associated audit improvement plans.
Non-Conformance - Produce data and management information relating to areas of non-conformance, and lead national projects aimed at improving compliance
Quality Assurance and Case Review - Conduct dip sampling, quality assurance activity, and case reviews to test compliance against standards.
Continuous improvement - Proactively drive continual improvement activity and provide project management support for improvement initiatives
Process Improvement - Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and procedures by identifying areas for improvement
Stakeholder Engagement - Engage effectively with stakeholders to deliver key improvement projects and strengthen compliance.
Administrative Support - Provide comprehensive administrative support to Quality & Compliance meetings.
Team Support - Develop cross-functional knowledge across the department and provide cover for the Quality & Compliance Team during periods of absence.

About You

Ideally, you will hold a relevant professional qualification in project management, continual improvement or audit, and have knowledge & understand of project management, audit principles & quality assurance.

You will need:

Project Management - Proven experience of managing and delivering projects to the defined outcomes within quality, time and cost limits.
Organisation Skills - Highly organised and flexible with the ability to manage complex work streams on an ongoing basis to achieve high quality results.
IT & Data Skills - Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and an ability to interpret, analyse and present complex information and quality & performance data
Stakeholder Engagement - Experience of working collaboratively with leaders, managers and staff at all levels to influence change.
Collaborative Working - Ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation, drawing on skills and support to ensure delivery against deadlines and targets.
Communication - Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce clear summaries and project overviews.
