As our Project Manager (Drive Partnership), you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and growth of one of the UK's leading programmes working with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. Through effective project management, governance and partnership working, you will help ensure that services are delivered consistently, meet their objectives and contribute to safer outcomes for victims, survivors and their families.
Working closely with colleagues across The Drive Partnership, SafeLives, Respect, Social Finance, commissioners and delivery partners, you will coordinate multiple project workstreams, monitor progress against project plans and support effective programme governance. You will help manage risks, oversee compliance processes, contribute to funder reporting and support the development of systems and processes that strengthen programme delivery. You will also play an important role in facilitating collaboration between partners and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
We're looking for someone with strong project management experience, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams. You'll be confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to meaningful social change. Experience of working within the domestic abuse sector, wider violence against women and girls sector, or the charity sector would be advantageous.

Last year alone, we delivered more than 700 sessions to over 15,000 learners across the UK in policing, health, housing, justice, education and the specialist sector. And we have reached 90,000 adult and 100,000 child survivors through programmes designed and delivered with partners.
In the last 9 years, close to 7,000 perpetrators have been challenged and supported to change through flagship interventions developed by The Drive Partnership and the programme continues to expand year on year.

The role
As Associate – National Project Manager, you will lead development projects from inception to completion, provide strategic advice to clients and oversee project teams and consultants.
This role would suit an experienced Chartered Surveyor with strong project management expertise, commercial awareness and a proven record of delivering development projects.
Skills and experience
You will have:
- Chartered Surveyor status and at least 10 years’ professional experience.
- Significant project and development management experience.
- A proven record of delivering projects from inception to completion.
- Experience managing design teams and external consultants.
- Experience leading development project teams.
- The ability to prepare and interpret development appraisals.
- Strong knowledge of planning and its impact on development projects.
- Commercial understanding of development costs, programmes, risk and viability.
- Experience advising on specifications and occupier requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver community-focused projects that create positive, lasting change across Devon.
Salary: £32,453 per annum
Location: Exeter, Devon, with hybrid working
Hours: 36.25 hours per week, full time
Contract: Permanent

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of projects supporting rural, coastal and market town communities across Devon.
Working with communities, partners, funders and stakeholders, you will take projects from development and planning through to successful delivery, ensuring they are delivered on brief, on budget and on time.

About you
You will be an organised, proactive and collaborative project professional who is comfortable managing a complex workload and working with a wide range of people.
You will need:
- Extensive project management experience, including budget management and reporting.
- Proven experience of engaging effectively with local communities.
- Experience of managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience of designing, delivering and evaluating training.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience of using CRM systems such as Dynamics.
- Confidence using digital tools to support reporting, research and stakeholder engagement.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Degree-level education or evidence of working at an equivalent level.
You will also need to be able to travel across Devon for meetings and be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.
