A hybrid of home and office working from the ParalympicsGB London Office or Loughborough Office as agreed. 

This role involves significant field-based activity and travel, including attendance at domestic and overseas events.

JOB PURPOSE

Demonstrating ParalympicsGB’s core values at all times, the Games Services Manager has responsibility for the design and delivery of key elements of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy and specific Games-related services and support whose outcomes will contribute positively to the fulfilment of ParalympicsGB’s vision, mission and objectives through: 

1. Working closely with the Head of Sport, exemplary management of identified areas of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services strategy and associated programmes, people and partnerships 

2. Excellence in delivery of identified core services including qualification and selection processes, accrediting the team, entering the team and managing team data  

3. Provision of world class advice and support to all Paralympic sports which contributes positively to a best prepared team at each Paralympic Games 

4. Provision of other input and support as a member of  ParalympicsGB’s  team support in the creation and delivery of an optimal Games-time environments

Games-time Role(s) All Games-time roles will be discussed and agreed for each Paralympic Games and will be dependent upon structure and delivery requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN DETAIL: 

Sport Directorate 

To support the on-going management of a cohesive and collaborative Sport Team environment which proactively embraces cross directorate / partnership working, additionally to: 

• Project management of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy within the Sport Directorate
• Provide regular updates to the Head of Sport regarding the implementation of the ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy; identifying and communicating potential and actual risks in a timely manner 
• Proactively identify and develop key strategic performance partnerships both within the UK and overseas to support delivery of organisational objectives 
• Deputise for the Head of Sport in his / her absence at key meetings and activities on an agreed basis 
• Support to the Director of Sport and Head of Sport in delivering identified organisational objectives

Games Services Strategy 

Responsible for the management and effective delivery of identified elements of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy including: 

• Management of team data and the development of ParalympicsGB Base, including budget management. 
• Management of team qualification including performance and qualification tracking and reporting.
• Management of selecting the team including support to all Paralympic sports with selection policies and processes.
• Management of accrediting the team for the ParalympicsGB delegation, including collaboration with Games Operations in updating the Delegation Overview. 
• Management of entering the team including sport entries and liaison with National Governing Bodies and the Organising Committee.
• Management of the Qualification and Selection Panel. 

Team Development Strategy:

Provide support to the Director of Sport and the Head of Athlete Services for the following aspects of ParalympicsGB’s team development strategy:  

• Support the design of the ParalympicsGB team development strategy and lead on elements of programme delivery 
• Support the ParalympicsGB team Games recruitment project
• Lead the planning group for Team Development Programmes, including event and budget management 
• Lead the Team Member’s Agreement Working Group, including collaborative work with our legal partners. 
• Support delivery of the Team Leader Journey including workshops and induction programmes.

Miscellaneous: 

• To work collaboratively with Paralympic sports, UK Sport, Home Country Sports Institutes, British Olympic Association and other partners to ensure coherence in positioning, approach and impact of the Games Services Strategy and Games-specific services and support
• To ensure effective processes of monitoring, evaluation and quality control, and the observation of key performance indicators across all responsibility areas 
• To support colleagues within ParalympicsGB across all areas of the Championing Change strategy, as reasonably required by the Director of Sport 
• To attend all meetings, workshops and seminars, whether internal or external, regional, national or overseas, which are reasonably deemed to be relevant to the fulfilment of the demands and responsibilities of the role 
• To fulfil any other agreed duties as required by the Director of Sport and / or Head of Sport

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2025. This unique project mobilises a huge volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services in temporary centres across London to people facing homelessness.

About the role

This role will involve building relationships with current and new corporate donors to ensure we can resource all the material donations we need to run the Crisis at Christmas centres in London.  Each year, we source gift in kind donations ranging from food and beverages to clothing, hairdressing equipment and toiletries. This is a varied role that involves researching donors, communicating with large corporate companies, managing volunteers, and running our yearly community donations drive.

Job summary

The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a Society of over 1,700 members from 100 countries, who work in, or are interested in tropical medicine and global health.

RSTMH organises and participates in events as a crucial way of showcasing, discussing, and debating key areas of tropical medicine and global health research and practice. Our range of events are wide. We deliver conferences and webinars, social events, research meetings for early career professionals, and high-profile debates and discussions. The Meetings and Events Manager would lead on the delivery of the RSTMH meeting and events strategy. The role requires a self-starter who is excited by the prospect of working on such a broad range of meetings and events. The candidate needs to have excellent communication and relationship building skills, and to be organised, flexible with a great attention to detail. They should be comfortable liaising with venues for meetings space, developing budgets for events, managing logistical aspects of the events programme and setting up new events online and in person.

About the role

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) plays a leading role in improving women’s healthcare across the world. We are seeking an experienced, driven and passionate Head of Public Fundraising to lead the mass fundraising team to achieve sustainable income growth over the coming years. We have recently invested in growing our fundraising team so that we can fund more life-changing research to increase our understanding of leukemia as a disease, and accelerate the development of kinder, more effective treatments. This includes investment to grow the public fundraising team, develop new fundraising products, recruit new supporters, and increase legacy giving through targeted campaigns. 

We are also in the process of developing our new 5-year fundraising strategy, so you will be instrumental in creating an ambitious new plan to develop a diverse and sustainable mass fundraising portfolio, covering the key areas of donor acquisition, retention, and growth, with a focus on maximising our Challenge and Community events portfolio, and increasing Legacy, In Memory and Regular giving.  You will be responsible for developing and delivering a portfolio of products to grow voluntary income, whilst leading a newly expanded and ambitious team. And you will help shape our data strategy, working with the Head of Digital and other colleagues across the organisation to develop our digital fundraising strategy; embed usage of our CRM and ensure GDPR compliance. 

You will be results-driven with an appetite to innovate and drive continuous improvement, leading to increased conversions, deepened relationships, and long-term support.

Requirements - Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable experience of strategic leadership and oversight of a mass fundraising product portfolio.
• Proven experience of managing an engaging Community and Challenge Events fundraising portfolio.
• Proven experience of driving Legacy and In Memory giving to create a robust long-term pipeline. Experience of successfully developing and implementing legacy marketing strategies.
• Proven experience of applying the principles and techniques of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multichannel, multi-discipline environment to deliver significant returns and supporter satisfaction, especially through supporter recruitment channels. 
• Experience of fully integrating a CRM database as a tool in the day-to-day work and running of a charity. 
• Demonstrable experience of managing a high performing team, focussing on creating a culture where people thrive as individuals and can be their best selves.
• Experience of managing multi-channel media campaigns by utilising print and digital channels including social media and email.
• Good experience of building effective relationships with internal and external partners, including creative freelancers, media and direct marketing agencies.
• Experience of working with, negotiating with, and managing outputs of external agencies and internal departments, including contractual obligations.
• Strong project-management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns.
• Experience of setting and managing annual budgets, monitoring, and reconciling results and financial performance in income and expenditure. Providing associated narratives and monthly reforecasts.
• Proven experience of driving effective stewardship programmes to maximising supporter experience.

Requirements - Knowledge

• Excellent specialist knowledge of the principals and methods of Public Fundraising, including Challenge Events, Community, Legacy, In Memory and Individual Giving.
• Understanding of the effective development and use of supporter contact strategies, turning analysis and insight into high performance activity.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current digital fundraising trends, including social media marketing.
• High Level knowledge of Salesforce CRM databases and how best to utilise to steward supporters.
• Knowledge and experience of marketing processes and techniques across varied channels.
• High Level knowledge of legacy administration. 
• High Level knowledge and understanding of charity law in relation to legacy fundraising, GDPR, PECR, data protection and other relevant fundraising regulation.

The Passage’s philanthropy portfolio has grown significantly over the last three years through dedicated relationship management and compelling applications that have brought to life the fantastic work and outcomes achieved by The Passage’s services. A recent audit of our Trusts and Foundations programme identified further opportunities for growth with both newly created and well-established funders.

The Passage’s new three-year strategy, The Art of the Possible, is based around the themes of prevention, convening and sustaining, and highlights the importance of collaboration. The Fundraising, Communications and Trading team are seeking a passionate, articulate, and experienced individual to further enhance and sustain our trusts and foundations income stream so that The Passage can support more people to find a place to call home.

Main duties

• Lead relationships with a portfolio of trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies to establish a robust pipeline of sustainable income.
• Provide effective stewardship of existing trust donors and prospects to ensure repeat gifts and to increase support where relevant.
• Create innovative opportunities and develop funding proposals that match funding opportunities to The Passage’s range of services.
• Develop an annual prospect pipeline with the aim of securing sustainable, multi-year income.
• Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager to prepare accurate annual budgets, forecasts, and income phasing.
• Maintain accurate records on the Salesforce database and ensure donor records are compliant.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values led high performing organisation. You will be a qualified accountant with proven track record of financial management awareness and a solid understanding of charity audits and statutory accounts preparation. You will have the ability to work with staff across the organisation in supporting good financial governance and oversight of financial operational matters. You will have the ability to analyse financial information and present this in a suitable format for the audience. You will have good ability to meet deadlines, be IT literate with an emphasis on financial systems, spreadsheets, Quickbooks and Excel. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.

About the role

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.
