As Educational Partnerships Manager, you’ll work across South East London, building partnerships with schools, colleges, youth organisations and community groups—particularly in areas where opportunities are hardest to come by.
You’ll be right in the mix: planning events, delivering programmes, supporting volunteers and connecting with school staff to make sure young people have access to our inspiring enterprise and financial education experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow relationships with schools, colleges, youth clubs and local communities
- Focus on expanding our reach in areas of multiple deprivation and underrepresentation
- Deliver and support the rollout of YE programmes in schools and other settings
- Recruit, train and support volunteers—making sure they feel valued and inspired
- Work with your regional team to meet shared goals and celebrate local impact
- Help secure local funding by supporting fundraising efforts and managing project deliverables
- Support the planning of events, trade fairs and celebrations for young people
- Keep accurate records, track impact, and make sure safeguarding is front and centre
A few practical things:
- This is a hands-on role—you’ll sometimes be lifting resources, setting up venues and travelling regularly (a car and full driving licence are essential)

Purpose of the Role
Faith underpins all our work and, in this key role the post holder will support the Christian journey by providing resources for personal prayer, spiritual guidance, corporate worship, religious education, and contribute to and participate in member and central charity led events and worship.
This role will explore and research issues about the Christian faith that are relevant to Mothers’ Union, keep the rest of the Charity up to date on issues in the Anglican communion and wider church – and input into the design of MU strategic aims, and work collaboratively with organisations externally on developing resources and implementing faith-based initiatives.
This role will also be responsible for managing Mothers’ Union’s Church-based membership and our Faith and Diocesan Chaplains member-based forums.
However, the focus for this role will be the proactive outreach, development, and maintenance of faith related relationships primarily in Britain and Ireland. This includes creating and managing high-level networks of Christian influencers, Bishops and the wider clergy, and key faith-based organisations to improve the profile, understanding and integration of Mothers' Union within the Anglican communion and ecumenically and to grow our reach, membership numbers, and influence.
A key remit of the Faith & Church Engagement Manager post will be to participate and contribute to our faith-based discussions and resources within Mothers’ Union. For this reason, the post holder must be a practicing Christian. (Occupational requirement Equality Act 2010).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Faith management and resources
1. To lead on the development of faith resources within Mothers’ Union (MU) and lead the strategic planning of all faith initiatives, theological rationales for Mothers’ Union specific initiatives and the overall mission.
2. To ensure that MU employees understand as part of the induction process and throughout their employment, how faith guides the work and relationships of MU.
3. Working with the Director of Membership, contribute to the strategic plan for all faith initiatives and clergy and church relations within Mothers’ Union.
4. To lead MU’s faith-based forums, to work where needed with the Worldwide Board and our Central Chaplain.
5. To facilitate theological underpinning to inform our work by exploring, researching, and gathering relevant data from various sources to keep abreast of new developments and initiatives.
6. To generate faith and church-based content for our website, magazine and newsletters and deliver MU’s prayer diary and oversea Midday Prayers.
7. To work with Mothers’ Union Enterprises on resources and products that have a faith dimension or spiritual content.
8. To work with our Worldwide President or designated member of the Worldwide Board to deliver faith and worship materials for Board and Worldwide Council meetings.
9. To receive, monitor and review MU’s worldwide resources to encourage and develop the contribution these make to the distinctive faith work of Mothers’ Union.
10. To maintain and develop all Faith Resources, identifying and developing new and uniquely MU resources to be added and archiving when required dated resources.
Membership Support – Britain and Ireland
1. To produce creative and accessible prayer and worship resources for use within our membership and more widely.
2. To identify the needs of members at every level for up-to-date information and resources on theology, faith, spirituality, worship/liturgy, Christian ethics and pastoral issues for group or individual use, and to commission a range of resources to meet those needs.
3. To build and manage external partnerships, within the Church and with other faith centred organisations, developing and promoting our work with these organisations.
4. Working closely with the Director of Membership and wider Membership team, to plan and lead faith aspects at conferences and meetings as requested.
5. To help design and implement projects and campaigns that provide an active engagement for our members, raise the public profile of Mothers’ Union, contribute to membership growth strategies and further the mission to promote the Christian faith and the wellbeing of families.
6. Work with the wider membership team on the design, implementation, and delivery of new membership growth models and manage existing membership models including Church-based Membership.
General
- To produce and provide reports and resources as required for the Chief Executive and Board.
- To promote the Christian faith and prioritise the wellbeing of families with members, the clergy, external partners, wider faith organisations, and the Anglican church.
- To further the promotion and integration of Mothers’ Union work with the clergy and within the Anglican Church and facilitate policy and advocacy support for MU campaigns.
- To undertake any other duties as requested by the Director of Membership.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Experience/skills
1. Experience of writing accessible worship material and of being open to different worship styles.

3. Experience of engaging, developing and nurturing faith relationships at all levels, from members to boards, to very senior clergy.

Work Location
This role will be based at our Head Office in Central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (Pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in Central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays.

Purpose of the post
The Business Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of AHS. This position focuses on the practical delivery and coordination of operations including implementing processes, maintaining systems, and supporting teams to work efficiently to deliver a longitudinal study. Acting as a central point for administration, the postholder will help keep our operations organised, identify and escalate issues as they arise, and ensure that processes and activities run seamlessly across our remote organisation.
About Adolescent Health Study
The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records. There will be a strong emphasis on engaging with and involving young people, schools, parents and other relevant stakeholders in the design and delivery of the study, as well as on including young people that represent as wide as possible a range of backgrounds, experiences and characteristics. AHS will focus on enabling a wide range of research, including studies of the critical biological and social developments that occur during the transition from childhood to adulthood and the determinants of both mental and physical health and wellbeing in adolescents and young adults.
Main responsibilities
Operational Delivery and Implementation
· Provide hands-on support to teams and managers in rolling out new tools, systems and operational processes that are critical for the success of the longitudinal study
· Support the smooth, day-to-day running of business operations, ensuring tasks and processes are completed efficiently
· Identify operational issues or bottlenecks, propose practical solutions where appropriate, and escalate matters to the Business Manager
Administration and Systems Management
· Maintain and update shared digital platforms, databases and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
· Manage administrative functions such as task tracking in a fully virtual environment
· Provide day-to-day administrative support including preparing, filing, archiving and retrieving documents
· Manage AHS central inbox(es) and escalate matters to the Business Manager as appropriate
Team Coordination and Support
· Coordinate meetings and workshops, including scheduling and logistics, for AHS team members and external parties as required

Our partner, an established UK charity with a focus on fighting poverty by transforming access to health care services in lower- and middle-income countries in Africa seeks a highly dynamic individual for a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension. The position is part of the management team, and the post holder will be expected to lead on the financial accounting, management accounting, and budgeting for the organisation as well as taking forward some strategic finance and operations projects as we expand our programmes in existing countries. The individual will also be expected to support the Co-CEOs with administrative, compliance and IT related tasks.
Finance
•Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring accounting records are complete and accurate.
Financial accounting
•Prepare annual statutory accounts in accordance with SORP 2015.
•Prepare for the annual external audit and host auditors ensuring the audit process runs smoothly. This includes supporting Vision Action’s country offices in hosting their respective audits.
•Ensure annual statutory accounts are finalised and submitted to Companies House and the Charity Commission by the appropriate deadlines.
Management accounting
•Coordinate the month-end process with the Finance Officer (UK) and Programme Finance Lead, and review transaction postings.
•Prepare monthly management accounts with cash flow forecasts, modifying the format as needed to suit the preferences of senior management and the Board of Trustees.
•Prepare the annual organisational budget and mid-year reforecast.
•Improve existing budget templates to enable straightforward and transparent budgeting for donors.
Support to country offices
•Collaborate with the Programme Finance Lead on a monthly basis to reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring that reconciling items are cleared promptly.
•Support country office teams in fulfilling any reporting and financial compliance requirements.
•Conduct internal process reviews (internal audits) of country offices where required.
•Review the bi-weekly payment runs for the UK office and the monthly country office fund requests, ensuring cash flow planning is in place for these payments.
•Ensure asset registers are maintained appropriately.

Background Information and Purpose of Post

The Philanthropy Specialist at Humanity & Inclusion UK is a new senior fundraising position with responsibility for planning, identifying, cultivating, and managing major donor relationships to secure significant funding, in line with the new global Major Giving Strategy 2026 - 2030.
The purpose of the post is to:
· Develop and deliver HI UK’s strategy for high-net-worth individuals.
· Lead on the new Capital Campaign, 2026-2030, for HI UK.
· Work closely with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and family foundations to develop high-value philanthropic partnerships and ensure sustained, long-term support.
· Secure five- and six-figure major gifts from a diverse and sustainable base of major donors.
· Develop your own prospect pipeline and provide excellent cultivation of your prospects to produce committed, long-term donors.
· Manage existing partnerships and donors to a high standard.
· Report to and collaborate with the Global Specialist in Major Giving (based in the UK) on the delivery and implementation of your own ambitious philanthropy strategy for HI UK, in line with UK and Federation priorities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships
You will have responsibility for developing a new strategy for high-net-worth individual support and you will lead the delivery of this strategy to secure high-value philanthropic partnerships under the responsibility of the Global Specialist in Major Giving.
Capital Campaign
Our new Capital Campaign will be an invaluable tool for you in developing funding from high-net-worth individuals in the UK. You will lead on its launch and recruit a Campaign Committee, stewarding them to deliver results.
Relationship Management
You will lead on the development and stewardship of long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and family foundations.
Income Growth
You will drive the growth of an existing pipeline of high-net-worth individuals and develop this pipeline with new supporters from our individual giving stream and philanthropists who are new to HI, to secure significant gifts.
Collaboration
You will work closely with HI's Global Specialist in Major Giving, HI UK Trustees, our Federal Major Giving team, and international colleagues, to develop compelling proposals and provide timely impact reporting.
Stewardship
You will ensure exceptional donor stewardship and provide a high-quality experience for supporters at every stage of engagement.
Cultivation events
You will initiate and run high quality cultivation events for your donors and prospects, to form part of their stewardship journey.
Data Management
You will accurately manage donor records, communications, and reporting through our CRM.
Other duties
· Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with HI UK colleagues, the Federal fundraising and communication teams, and Major Giving counterparts in other HI national associations in Europe and North America.
· Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and high standards.

About the team
The media team strategically leads on both proactive and reactive media activity, engaging with journalists to support WaterAid’s mass engagement, partnerships, brand awareness and political influencing.
As our Senior PR Manager, you will lead the public relations function for WaterAid and work closely with the three senior media officers you manage, to drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Lead on developing and delivering innovative integrated, digital first PR campaigns that achieve impactful national, international, local and digital coverage, to support our fundraising and public engagement activities, build WaterAid’s profile, and align with wider organisational aims
- Manage our media around our high-profile strategic partnerships to deliver media projects that meet shared objectives and help our partners become influencers in their sector to drive change
- Work with the Celebrity and Influencer team to develop effective ways to work with high-profile supporters to build awareness of WaterAid and our work
- Act as a media spokesperson for WaterAid as required, briefing journalists on and off the record and giving media interviews where necessary
- Provide professional advice and support to colleagues in the UK, including our Chief Executive and within the WaterAid federation involved in media relations work, and identify opportunities to coordinate media moments across the organisation

The Role
The role of the Events team within Alpha International is to oversee the organising of Leadership Conference (LC) in-person, any events around Leadership Conference (including Donor events, Wednesday CEF event, Alpha Staff day, regional satellite events) and London-based Alpha events across the year (such as Alpha Collective and Experience Alpha).
This role is responsible for managing health and safety across the HTB sites, catering (crew, bloom café, Brompton road food vans and green rooms), internal deliveries and LC app, along with other LC related tasks.
The Key Responsibilities
Logistical arrangements:
o Development and execution of the events Day Plan. This is a minute-by-minute detailed plan that holds all the information of what will take place at the event
o Gathering technical and logistical requirements from speakers, stream leaders and internal departments; then negotiating this with the IT, Production, Vergers and Volunteers Teams or with an external venue or AV suppliers
o Determining catering requirements and caterer management
o Hiring of any additional venues as required and HTB site logistics
o Attending site visits (for external venues that might be used)
o Hiring of any additional equipment required for the event
o Liaising with the Production, IT, Verger, Worship team and all other internal departments
o Ensuring any legal and insurance tasks are thought about and in place for the event taking place
o Creating floor plans for the vergers to use

Thames21 is an environmental charity that works across London and the Thames Basin to deliver high-impact, nature-based solutions to the climate and biodiversity crisis by restoring rivers, while also connecting communities to their local green-blue spaces and inspiring long-term stewardship of them.
Purpose of the job
We are seeking a skilled engagement officer to deliver an innovative programme of community-led river engagement activities in and surrounding the River Roding as part of a project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, ‘The Roding Rises’. This role will engage with groups from the urban and rural reaches of the river Roding catchment to co-design activities that support the delivery of The Roding Rises activity plan and encourage participants along an engagement pathway from awareness to participation and independent action. This role offers the post holder the opportunity to make a difference in diverse areas of London, with varying challenges and a range of ambitions.
The key skill for this role is being able to connect with and bring people together. The project relies on creating strong networks of grassroots organisations, community leaders and representatives from the public and private sectors, including councillors and politicians.

A typical day is likely to involve keeping on track with what’s happening across the Roding catchment, meeting with key partners, being alert to upcoming network meetings, or delivering community events or activities. You might be working from home, or out of our offices in Bow or Guildhall, or be out and about with a community group or local organisation, co-producing an engagement event.
You might be posting on social media or updating the web page. You may be working on strategic, long-term plans to share the learnings from the project. You’ll be thinking both big and small on any given day!

Main duties and responsibilities
1. Work with The Roding Rises Project Team, local community organisations and representatives to co-produce and deliver an inclusive and culturally relevant programme of 21 events and activities over the three-year life of the project as part of the River Connections programme of events within The Roding Rises activity plan.
2. Work with The Roding Rises Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of the externally contracted River Testimonies and Roding Arts and Walking Festival and community co-development aspects of the Roding Masterplan.
3. Support community groups and partners with community-focused applications to the Roding grants scheme
4. In partnership with colleagues, conduct inclusive outreach activities that will engage a wide diversity of people with a range of backgrounds and life experiences, from both rural and urban areas in our core locations.
5. Build a catchment-wide community network, uploading details to Thames21’s CRM system in line with GDPR.
6. Collect and record qualitative and quantitative data on events and activities run, including written and verbal feedback from partners and participants, photos and numbers of attendees, keeping to GDPR requirements. Evaluate this information to develop the methods for engagement and inform future activities.
7. Carry out the administrative duties to run events, including conducting risk assessments and method statements, managing event registrations, liaising with local councils and community groups and maintaining and managing event equipment.
- Work with the Thames21 Training Officer to establish a group of volunteers who are trained in Thames21’s modules to maintain and monitor local sites. Includes supporting existing volunteers and assisting with building their capacity so groups become autonomous.
- Represent Thames21 and The Roding Rises at relevant local forums and proactively recruit volunteers through in-person engagement events.
- Maintain clear records of progress, ensure all administration and statistical information is kept up to date,
- Work with Thames21’s Communications Team to promote the project, celebrate its achievements and learnings; ensure key milestones are recognised, funders are acknowledged, and volunteer opportunities are publicised.
- Attend Thames21 Team Meetings and liaise with other Thames21 staff.

You will manage and develop a pipeline of trust and philanthropy prospects using the CRM, effectively moving donors through solicitation stages and fulfilling the pipeline with new prospects. You will develop excellent and persuasive funder proposals, using accurate and impactful project information collected from relevant teams. You will also produce progress reports to meet funder requirements and deliver exemplar and creative stewardship to donors.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- A successful track record in trusts fundraising including developing multi-year proposals for 5 and 6 figure gifts.
- An up-to-date knowledge of the trust fundraising landscape and a working knowledge of research sources and methodologies.
- Experience in effectively stewarding funder relationships.
- Excellent writing skills for delivering inspiring proposals and reports to a deadline.

The Role
