Senior Grants Officer Location: Fully Remote Salary: £28,600 per annum plus benefits We are recruiting for a Senior Grants Officer. The Fundraising Department at The Forward Trust plays a crucial role in supporting our mission to empower individuals to break the cycles of addiction, crime, homelessness and unemployment. Our team is dedicated to securing vital funds, generating around £2million per year, through various channels, including grants, events, corporate partnerships, and individual donations. We work collaboratively across departments to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, ensuring that we can continue to provide life-changing services to those in need. One of our unique strengths is the ability to place our service-users at the heart of everything we do, including fundraising. With around a third of our workforce in active recovery and/or having had experience with the criminal justice system, and access to our community of over 28,000 individuals who have benefitted from our support, we can provide living proof of our long-lasting impact. Role Responsibilities An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Fundraising Team to help grow and maximise income from trusts and foundations and other grant giving organisations. As an integral part of the team, you will identify, engage, and approach new grant giving organisations as well as maintain and strengthen relationships with existing supporters to secure funding for our life changing and life-saving services across prisons and communities in the UK. Over the last two years, we have been working hard to lay the foundations to be able to engage and secure more supporters and advocates for the organisation, enabling us to increase the amount of charitable income we secure. With a new strategy, team structure and customer relationship systemin place, it is a great time to be joining a passionate, fun, and target-driven team within a motivating and inspirational environment. You will be working as part of a team of 10 and the role is fully remote with expectation to travel to Vauxhall once per month. You will also be expected to have the flexibility to attend events and be able and willing to travel to the services in the organisation and supporting fundraising events. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a excellent communicator who is good at building and maintaining relationships and who has writing and fundraising experience. Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) are a national Christian charity working in partnership with local churches to bring struggling children hope and a future. Building on the huge success of TLG Early Intervention Coaching, TLG Therapeutic Support will be a new way for TLG, with partner churches, to provide support in school for the increasing number of pupils struggling to cope due to their emotional, relational, and mental health experiences. This programme addresses the underlying issues children are facing, whilst also providing the option of direct support to their parents/carers and the school staff team.
In this role we are looking for individuals with an accredited coaching qualification that thrive working with children and young people in a school context and are passionate about supporting pupils and their families struggling with emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for creativity whether this is music and drama, sport and outdoor recreation or other fields of kinaesthetic development. The TLG Therapeutic Coach will be present each week in the school, providing specialist trauma aware care for these children, whilst supporting staff and parents/carers too, so we're looking for an individual who can build and foster strong relationships.

West Yorkshire Pathfinder Partnership (WYPP) is to be launched as a 12-month pilot, following successful programmes in other UK areas. Staying Put are proud to lead this partnership of 5 exceptional providers of domestic abuse services; Leeds Domestic Violence Service represented by Leeds Women’s Aid and Behind Closed Doors, WomenCentre, Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership and Wakefield Domestic Abuse Service.
We are now looking to set up our team of dedicated and passionate Family Court IDVAs. There are vacancies in Bradford, Calderdale and Kirklees for this post, the salary will be the same across the partnership, however the terms and conditions may vary.
You will be employed by one of the above organisations and be based in one location, however there is the need for flexibility and expectation of travel across all areas, at times.
About the role
This role will play a crucial part in supporting individuals, families and children through the family court process as part of the Pathfinder programme. Working as part of a strong multi-agency team across the courts of West Yorkshire, you will ensure the voice of the survivor informs every stage of the process. Using a client-led and trauma-informed approach, this role provides high-quality advocacy support to survivors of domestic abuse.
- Various hours available – Between 15 hours or 22.5 hours (2 or 3 days) Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- £27,898 – £28,898 FTE per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
- 12 month fixed-term contract initially. There is the possibility of extension, depending on successful outcomes of the pilot.

We’re looking for someone organised, non-judgemental, and passionate about helping and supporting our service users. If you have experience in advocacy, supporting vulnerable people in a domestic abuse arena and have a strong understanding of trauma-informed care, we want to hear from you. We are looking for someone with ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment and who has experience of report writing and excellent listening skills.
