About the role:

At Single Homeless Project (SHP), we believe in the power of learning to transform not only careers, but lives. As part of our blended learning approach, e-learning plays a key role in developing and empowering our staff to deliver the best possible support to people experiencing homelessness across London. This fixed-term role for 4–6 months, providing maternity cover with the potential for extension, offers a unique opportunity to shape the learning experiences of SHP staff by enhancing and expanding our e-learning offer. Based within our Learning and Development team, you’ll be surrounded by passionate and collaborative colleagues who are committed to delivering high quality training to staff, locums and volunteers across a wide range of topics.

In this role, you’ll be central to the creation and improvement of interactive, engaging e-learning content using Adapt authoring software. You’ll refine existing modules, build new ones from the ground up, and ensure learning materials are accessible, relevant and impactful. With a particular focus on tailored health and safety training and other priority subjects, you’ll work closely with subject matter experts across SHP to bring ideas to life. Whether you’re tweaking functionality, refining content or developing entirely new modules, your work will enable staff to grow in confidence and skill - helping them provide more effective, compassionate support to our clients.

About you:

• Highly IT literate to at least intermediate level, including a great working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, with excellent presentation skills.
• Competent in using the Adapt authoring tool, preferably within Learning Pool software, or ability to learn new design package and systems with ease.
• Understanding of learning or training design, with experience in e-learning content creation, or training delivery.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to co-ordinate multiple systems/processes and manage time effectively, prioritising different areas of work according to need.

Purpose of Role

The Senior New Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in helping Comic Relief achieve its mission of a Just World Free from Poverty by securing transformational partnerships with trusts, foundations, and institutional funders (TFI). These high-value, long-term collaborations enable Comic Relief to scale its impact, reach new communities, and invest in sustainable, social change across the UK and globally.

Working closely with the Head of New Partnerships & Philanthropy, the postholder is responsible for leading the development and delivery of a strategy to secure and manage six- and seven-figure partnerships that generate significant restricted and unrestricted income. This includes developing compelling partnership propositions, managing complex negotiations, and ensuring alignment with Comic Relief’s funding strategy and social change objectives.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring all charitable income and expenditure, financial forecasting, producing management accounts, annual financial accounts, and maintaining effective control systems. The post holder will also have the opportunity to work on strategic projects such as developing our financial practice and policies, grant reconciliation and forecasting.

The successful candidate will have charity accounting experience and at least qualified by experience in charity accounting. • Ensure financial controls and the integrity of the financial records are maintained

Audit and Taxation

• Lead the relationship with the auditors, ensuring that the audit is delivered on schedule and all statutory filings are made on time.

• Responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts and supporting schedules.

• Liaise with tax advisors to ensure compliance.

• Complete quarterly VAT returns and Gift Aid returns.

Treasury

•  Lead in the management of bank accounts and deposits.

The salary is £38,000 FTE pro rata, for 21 hours per week, with 17 days annual leave including bank holidays.

Essential

• Sound knowledge and demonstrable experience of UK Charity SORP, charity sector financial practices and preparing statutory accounts

• Qualified by experience or part qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA

 A Graduate with a construction-related degree — such as architecture, building surveying, planning, civil engineering, quantity surveying, project management, or construction management — or hold an entry-level construction qualification with at least 12 months’ experience in a construction-related role. 

You’ll have a sound understanding of construction principles, procurement, and project management, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to reviewing designs and technical documentation.

What can we offer you

The salary band for this role is £30,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

You will start on 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. Programme Officer for Europe & Eurasia

About the role:

The Programme Officer will provide programmatic support to a portfolio of Internews Europe’s projects in the Europe & Eurasia (E&E) Region. The role will be part of Internews’ Regional E&E Team and report to the UK-based Regional Programme Manager. The role will support the project teams in the E&E region as they conduct their project activities and ensure effective programme implementation, particularly related to project reporting, work planning, and monitoring, evaluation, research and learning (MERL).

The role will coordinate with diverse international donors to contribute to development opportunities that support E&E media and journalists to safely provide good-quality information. The role supports the design and development of innovative programmes and serves as the point of contact for E&E projects within Internews Europe and for some project donors. The role may also be asked to represent Internews at partner and donor meetings. The role will also contribute to Internews’ knowledge management and improvement of Internews systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the project teams across all programmatic and operational aspects of European-funded grant programmes to implement high-quality projects on time, according to the budget, and to the highest technical standards, and in a way that positions projects within a broader regional or thematic portfolio and contributes to organisational impact
• Monitor progress towards project deliverables and provide guidance to project teams
• Support project openings/start-ups and closeouts
• Advise on project team composition and support with hiring key project personnel
• Guide the project teams on rules and requirements of European donors and Internews’ internal policies and procedures
• Work closely with the E&E Business team on business aspects of project delivery, including budget management and financial tracking

You will communicate the development of any new projects whilst overseeing the pre-existing engagements and work closely with our touring agents at Askonas Holt. Job description

Reporting to the Managing Director and in coordination with the Artistic Director and Deputy Artistic Director, you will handle the orchestra’s diary, lead on the production of projects and line manage the Orchestra & Tour Manager and our Production freelancers.

Your responsibilities will be:

· Attending all Chineke! rehearsals, projects and tours

· Working closely with the artistic team to assist on curation of programmes, keeping track of conductor/soloist invites and handling contracting once bookings have been confirmed

· Meeting with venues to generate interest in our future programmes and secure concert dates to build out regional tours around core Southbank Centre dates

· Keeping the Development Director and Marketing and Communications Manager up to date on projects and future plans

· Keeping track of our National Portfolio Organisation requirements with Arts Council and planning projects to meet our targets on the number of concerts in each category that we have committed to in each financial year

· Working closely with our important partners i.e. Askonas Holt, Southbank Centre, Woolwich Works, Royal Albert Hall

· Working closely with the Artistic Team and Managing Director to ensure that our performance plans align with our mission and 5 Year Development Plan

· Producing and negotiating contracts to engagements (conductors, soloists, with venues/festivals, tours, commercial engagements etc.)
