Role Purpose

Hatch is on a mission to build a more equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem, one where underrepresented founders have the resources, support, and funding to thrive. We are looking for a relationship-driven Fundraising Manager to secure, steward, and grow funding partnerships across trusts and foundations, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).

You will play a key role in unlocking income growth through strong relationship management, compelling bid and proposal writing, and strategic prospect research. While managing your own portfolio of funders, you will also support senior fundraisers to progress high-value partnerships, developing your skills and confidence as you grow your own partnerships.

Your role will focus on:

• Developing and managing partnerships across corporate, trust and foundation, and individual giving audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage partnerships - Steward a portfolio of trusts, corporates, and individual donors, ensuring consistent communication, timely reporting,  and strong funder retention.

• Lead on bid and application writing - Write tailored and compelling funding applications, proposals, and case materials for grant-giving bodies, corporates, and HNWIs.

• Support senior fundraisers across the team - Assist colleagues working on major partnerships by providing background research, preparing proposals and meeting materials, and helping to coordinate follow-up actions.

• Provide regular updates and comms to funders - Ensure all funders receive timely, engaging updates on programme delivery, impact and outcomes, maintaining trust and strengthening long-term relationships.

• Identify and qualify new prospects - Proactively research and assess new funding opportunities. Bring warm leads into the pipeline and contribute insight to support strategic alignment.

• Respond to inbound funding enquiries - Manage and convert lower-level inbound opportunities, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses that align with Hatch’s offer and impact areas.

• Maintain accurate CRM records and support reporting - Keep the fundraising pipeline up to date in Salesforce and Monday. Track deadlines, ensure data accuracy, and support internal reporting and team coordination.

• Coordinate cross-team collaboration - Work with Programmes and Marcoms teams to gather inputs for applications and reports, prepare for funder meetings, and ensure aligned messaging.

• Use data and storytelling to showcase impact - Contribute to the development of reports, updates, and communications that clearly demonstrate Hatch’s value and the impact of our work with funders.

We are looking for a relationship-driven fundraiser who can grow and manage a funder portfolio, write compelling funding bids, deliver employee engagement and volunteering opportunities, and support wider team success. You’ll need to be confident working across income streams and motivated by social impact.

Essential skills and experience:

• Excellent relationship management skills, with experience stewarding funders or clients

Community Fundraising Manager

We are looking for an experienced Community Fundraising Manager to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will be responsible for driving our strategy for Community Fundraising, Individual/Regular Giving and Events. With a database of around 100,000 registrants and 15,000 members, these existing income streams have lots of great potential. Purpose of the role

• Grow a successful existing income stream (Fundraising Events and Regular Giving) and develop and grow a comparatively new income stream (Community Fundraising and Individual Giving) for Twins Trust. About the role:

The Team Leader will lead on the delivery of the Triage Model in their pilot area/s, providing support, case management and supervision for the Triage Worker and IDVA roles. They will act as the first point of contact assessing the suitability of initial referrals to be allocated to a Triage Worker for a full assessment. The Team Leader will support the Service Manager and Practice and Development Lead in developing multi agency relationships for the successful implementation of the model and will take a lead role in maintaining these relationships locally to ensure operational success when undertaking assessments to try and ensure the right recommendations for positive requirements are made but also to support the ongoing development of a national delivery model and to support the evaluation of the pilot.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and proactive fundraiser to join our income generation team to raise more grant income from charitable trusts and foundations primarily, along with corporates and other partners. Role Purpose 

Working alongside our chief executive (who is an experienced fundraiser), an external larger bid writing resource and heads of programmes, the key objectives are to successfully generate income with grants valuing up to c.£10k in line with KLS fundraising plan and annual budget; develop and maintain relationships, and secure funding from, a portfolio of loyal and prospective supporters. Position Title:      Charity Manager 

Location:            Remote work (mainly based in London with some travel across UK)

Role Overview: 

As Charity Manager, you'll lead and guide All Ways Network (AWN) to achieve its charitable goals. This role involves working closely with the Board of Trustees to drive the charity’s strategic plans, manage operations, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You'll play a pivotal part in scaling the organisation and overseeing its day-to-day functions, while fostering a supportive and productive environment for staff. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Leadership & Operations: 

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth running of all charity functions. 

• Manage and lead a growing team, providing support and guidance. 

• Lead recruitment, staff development, and HR management in collaboration with the Board. 

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and manage organisational risks. 

• Develop and monitor operational systems to track progress and outcomes of key initiatives. 

• Foster a positive and growth-oriented work environment, helping staff realise their potential. 

Board Collaboration & Strategic Planning: 

• Work closely with the Board to implement AWN’s strategic and operational plans.

• Take charge of the Annual Report and related documentation, ensuring compliance with Charity Commission requirements. 

• Support the Board in maintaining effective governance, including updating key policy documents (e.g. risk register). 

External Representation & Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Represent AWN at stakeholder and partnership meetings, building and maintaining key relationships aligned with strategic goals. 

• Support the team in managing partnerships and providing strategic advice on project delivery. 

• Attend relevant events outside office hours and weekends when necessary.

• Undertake additional duties as required in line with the role and organisational changes.

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

About The Role

The Assistant Director of Network Development and Impact leads our strategic programme of work to enable sustainability, growth, inclusion and impact across the Home-Start federation. With a deep understanding of programme and service development, and a commitment to insight-led decision-making, the postholder will lead a more strategic, data-informed approach to how we grow and strengthen our network’s collective impact.

As a member of our senior leadership team, they will provide inspiring, strong and supportive leadership to teams delivering ongoing activities and planned projects, and to foster cohesion and alignment across Home-Start UK and the Home-Start network. They will work across the organisation and with partners to ensure our programmes of work evolve to meet emerging needs and to deliver meaningful, measurable change over time.

This senior leadership role has oversight of teams who are leading work to:

Legacy Manager (Maternity Cover)

Role Summary:

As part of the Major Gifts and Planned Giving team, this role is responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 80 legacy estates, including pecuniary, specific, residuary and life interest estates. The Legacy Manager will also assist the team with legacy enquiries and pledges, supporting donors on their legacy journey, as well as managing PETA’s free will services.

• Ensure that gifts in wills to PETA are handled appropriately, sensitively and efficiently, maximising legacy income to support PETA’s mission to protect animals.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Augustus Club

• Administer legacies in a professional and approachable manner, to include correspondence with solicitors and other interested parties
• Maintain departmental information, files, and records related to legacy estates
• Act as the point of contact and grow and mature relationships with stakeholders and external groups in order to attain information needed to carry out the role
• Work with various stakeholders on contested legacies, collaborating with other charities where needed
• Be able to communicate to supporters how important and desirable legacies are to PETA
• Respond to enquiries and requests for assistance from Augustus Club members and planned-giving prospects
• Document pertinent information about planned-giving members for the purpose of enhancing and building relationships
• Remain current on estate-planning practices as well as fundraising techniques and methods used in the non-profit sector, attending professional training seminars as needed
• Keep up to date on probate and tax laws, informing the team of any changes

Other

This role will provide high quality financial information and analysis to senior managers and external stakeholders supporting decision-making. The role

The role of Executive Assistant is needed to provide high-quality executive support to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team. This role will oversee complex diary coordination and management, stakeholder support and communications, event planning, database management and administration for the Board of Trustees.

You’ll provide an expert administrative and coordination service to the CEO, liaising with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally. You’ll work reactively in response to changing priorities, as well as proactively, identifying ways to streamline communications, activities and engagements. You’ll be familiar with correspondence priorities, methods and composition, so that in the absence of the CEO, you can keep things moving and ensure that key stakeholders are attended to. 

You’ll have a strong personal assistance and administrative background, preferably in the charity sector. You’ll be confident in juggling multiple workstreams and communicating with all levels of stakeholders. You’ll be patient, understanding and an attentive team player.

This role will be predominantly remote, however, some occasional travel to our London office (Vauxhall) will be required.
