About the Role

A core strand of the charity’s offering works to help adults build the skills, knowledge, confidence and behaviours to manage their money well. We do this by delivering Financial Wellbeing Workshops, Webinars, Specialist Programmes, Consultancy projects and through distribution of our Money Manual. The charity works with both community (charities/social enterprises) and commercial organisations to reach adults in their context of need.

Reporting to the Director of Workplace & Community Programmes and working as part of a small team, the successful candidate for this role will support the organisation and administration of our fully-funded Financial Wellbeing Workshops, our Specialist Programme for adults with Learning Difficulties, and other ad-hoc Community-oriented projects. Our Community Workshops and Programmes are delivered in partnership with organisations in a range of settings up and down the UK, with the participants being their beneficiaries or service users. The Workshops themselves are delivered by our training consultants who also undertake local outreach work to find new organisations and groups to partner with, supporting our central marketing efforts. This is a brand new role on the team to help us grow our reach as part of our new 2025-2028 strategy.

About the role

You will play a key part in developing and delivering our community fundraising strategy, making sure that anyone and everyone who wants to fundraise for people with arthritis has a great experience doing it. You will build strong relationships with supporters, be that as part of a golf club charity of the year partnership, workplace fundraising or supporting someone with a personal connection to arthritis to raise money in their local area. Developing, delivering and ultimately growing our Facebook challenges offer will be a huge focus – we have some great learnings and are now looking to take them to the next level. You will work collaboratively with teams across the organisation, from marketing to product development to events, to make sure our products meet the needs of our supporters and that their journey through the organisation is seamless. About you

If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:

• Proven successful track record of planning and delivering community fundraising products (or similar) to achieve a good return on investment.
• Experience of delivering excellent supporter or customer stewardship through multi-channels and building relationships with a wide variety of supporters on the phone, in writing and face to face driving engagement, increasing income, and increasing supporter retention.  
• Experience to successfully and independently manage projects, delivering to pre-set deadlines, managing high workloads and ability to understand how and when to prioritise work. 
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.  
• Understanding of the Fundraising Code of Practice and ensuring all fundraisers are always following correct guidance.  
• Skilled at building excellent relationships with a wide range of people. 
  Understanding and prior experience of using customer relationship management (CRM) databases.

About the Role

As a Support Worker in our Housing First team, you’ll be a key point of contact for a small caseload of residents (approx. 6). You'll offer tailored, compassionate, housing-related and other person-centered support—enabling residents to articulate and achieve their goals, navigate systems, and rebuild their lives.

You’ll work closely with SCT’s internal services teams and external agencies to remove barriers, promote wellbeing, and champion the voice of each resident.

Key Responsibilities

Support and Advocacy

• Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support to Housing First residents.
• Conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments.
• Develop meaningful relationships that foster trust, choice and wellbeing.
• Advocate for residents’ access to healthcare, housing, benefits and specialist services.
• Support residents with practical tasks like budgeting, appointments, and accessing community resources.

Housing and Recovery Support

• Help residents secure, move into, and sustain suitable accommodation.

• Facilitate access to SCT’s wider services as required.

Collaboration and Coordination

Job Title: Payroll and Pensions Administrator 

Location: Islington, London, (Around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station) Hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office and service visits regularly across London, Brighton, Luton, Bedford, Kent, and Liverpool. Once a month, the full People and Culture team have a collaborative office day on a Monday. 

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00, with some flexibility around these hours as required.

About the role

Our People and Culture team are hiring a Payroll and Pensions Administrator to join the team to support with ensuring our staff are paid efficiently, accurately, and on time. You will play a pivotal part of the team to support with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all, coordinating effective and efficient end-to-end payroll and pensions administration, plus any additional relevant activities. You will utilise the tools and resources available to ensure we meet the needs of all our stakeholders and comply with legal matters. The role will further include:

• Taking ownership of administrative tasks in the payroll and pensions process, being the point of contact for enquiries in this area.
• Supporting the administrative process of payroll and pensions, including with the database/system, ensure that any problems are identified with the relevant departments for effective resolution.
• Ensure the process for all adaptations are carried out in a timely manner.
• Support relevant colleagues to ensure the correct payments, reports, and returns are made to HMRC, pension providers, and other bodies.
• Work in collaboration with functions within the organisation to ensure consistency of information and process.
• Ensure all data and reporting is updated in a timely manner across the relevant databases on a regular basis and fit the needs of the business.

We’re looking for an innovative, passionate and professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to a new project in West Yorkshire to deliver 6 month reviews to stroke survivors of working age.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke.

Position: S11272 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Homebased Bradford, Wakefield and Leeds. However, frequent travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £21,948 per annum (FTE circa £27,400 per annum)

Hours: Part-time, 28 hours per week

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026. Our services are contracted, we currently have funding for this contract until 30 June 2026.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Outreach Support Officer to join our small, friendly, and dedicated team. This role will focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred support to asylum seekers, particularly those currently accommodated in hotels across London.

This is a key position within NCG and will play a vital role in supporting our advice team to deliver an efficient, effective, and holistic support service tailored to the complex needs of asylum seekers and refugees.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Direct experience of supporting asylum seekers and refugees

• Strong knowledge of the asylum support system and the challenges faced by individuals in the asylum process

• An understanding of available resources and services that support asylum seekers and how to access them

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• A flexible and proactive approach with the capacity to manage a varied workload

• Fluency in a community language is an advantage

The roles are:

01. Development Officer

The Development Officer will play a vital role in supporting the progress of CVS Brent’s Development and Funding strategy. Our mission through this role is to find stability and encourage growth, with strong partnerships across sectors that support the delivery of exceptional VCSE services.  The development officer will be key to developing these partnerships.

Hours: 21pw * 26 weeks

Rate: £30ph (self employed basis)

02. Funding Officer

The Funding Officer will play a vital role in supporting the development of the charity’s funding strategy. Our mission through this role is to find stability and encourage growth. This role is critical in helping raise essential funds, with a target being securing funds from grants philanthropic organizations and other income within the contract period.

Hours: 21pw * 26 weeks

Rate: £30ph (self employed basis)

LEGACY OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

Salary: £22,950 per annum pro rata

Reports to: Senior Legacy Operations Manager

Directorate: ?Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement

Contract: ?Fixed-term contract until end of January 2026

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: ?Stratford, London w/ limited-flex (2 - 3 days per week in the office)

What will I be doing?

• Distributing and scanning of daily incoming post to relevant staff members 

• Creating and allocating new Legacy cases to the Legacy Case Management Team 

• Creating new solicitor records on the website and CRM system, and informing Finance Team 

• Reconciling and inputting income data (cheques and bank transfers) received by the Legacy team

• Responding to queries from all Legacy audiences, via email and telephone 

• Maintain data quality - merging records and other data processing tasks as required (First Class and Siebel) 

• Raising Purchase Orders and raising invoices when required 

• Building and maintaining excellent knowledge of Cancer Research UK's Will-Writing Services, Case Administration and associated systems and processes 

• Supporting project work relating to Legacy operations, by sharing knowledge of internal processes  

• Responsible for monitoring and ordering materials, maintaining and tracking stock levels as required, ensuring key internal stakeholders are informed.

• High level of IT literacy, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages 

• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail

• Excellent administration skills and accurate record keeping

• Able to prioritise day-to-day tasks and plan to maximise most effective use of time to deliver against deadlines to a high standard

• Self-motivated and solutions focused, finds solutions to and root-causes of problems with direction and support from colleagues

• Proven experience of managing administration in a busy environment with flexibility in reacting to stakeholder needs

This is an exciting opportunity to join Refuge’s Technology-facilitated Abuse and Economic Empowerment Team, to deliver a unique partnership project, supporting survivors of economic abuse and technology-facilitated abuse. The post holder will work alongside our talented Tech and Economic Abuse leads, supporting survivors to increase their safety and regain economic independence, empowering them to move forward with their lives free from abuse.

The postholder will be responsible for managing a caseload of survivors, providing holistic support to assess and increase their safety, and connecting them with local domestic abuse support services where appropriate. The postholder will advise on securing online accounts and devices, ensure survivors have access to safe bank accounts, advocate with banks and creditors to tackle fraud and coerced debt, and empower survivors to regain control of their finances. We are looking for someone with experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse, with a good understanding of tech safety and how economic abuse can impact survivors, who is passionate about increasing survivor safety, and reaching the best outcomes for everyone they support.
