POSITION OVERVIEW
The Impact Evaluation & Fundraising Manager is essential to delivering The Avenues Youth Project’s (AYP) financial targets by writing bids, measuring the impact of our work, and reporting back to funders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the Chief Executive and Grants Funding Manager to match potential funders to forthcoming programmes.

Write applications to a selection of potential funders, developing relationships with grants managers.

Understand and communicate SLAs and design relevant data capture with our Programme Team.

Schedule all reporting requirements and ensure that donors are communicated with in a timely way, using their preferred methods.

Design data collection tools such as questionnaires, write and update monitoring and evaluation resources for our youth work team.

Analyse data and write into easy-to-understand reports.

Participate in budget meetings with the Programme Team and Finance Manager to ensure programme budgets are met.

Develop strong relationships with our partner organisations, collaborating on shared projects and attending meetings.

Take the lead role in ensuring the youthwork database (Plinth) is maintained and kept up to date, and reports are produced for CE and trustees.

Support the Fundraising Team on fundraising activities where necessary.
The job is not limited to the above duties, as the organisation develops and at different times of the year the priorities may shift leading to additional reasonable responsibilities as the role requires.

We are looking for a part time Membership Officer to work Monday - Wednesday. This is essentially a job share with our existing Membership Officer who works Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays. ROLE OVERVIEW

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timetabling online and face-to-face outreach to ensure women are recruited onto programmes in a timely way
- Being the key safeguarding lead at Friday workshops and ensuring that you make 1-1 time for any women who require it (alerting the Head of Operations and People and the CEO and wider team any issues or concerns that need addressing)
- Liaising with the Programmes Coordinator on the timely production of workshop materials and any other course content useful for participants
- Maintaining excellent relationships with workshop providers
- Ensuring that the Programmes Coordinator is across needs for any 1-1 therapy referrals between women and our float of freelance therapists
- Conducting evaluation surveys with women at the start, end and 6 months after they graduate and ensuring all evaluation data is provided to the freelancer responsible for collating the impact of our programmes annually in a final report, as well as providing any data required by the CEO for grant reports

PERSON SPECIFICATION
You will be someone who is naturally warm/ a people person, compassionate and enabling, and who also has fantastic project management/ organisational skills. You may come from a senior youth worker background or other front line organisations working with young vulnerable adults.
Essential:
- Substantial senior experience working with young, including vulnerable, adults
- Proven track record of project/ programme management experience to deliver successful learning/ educational events/ activities for young people
- Creative thinker with experience of conducting successful outreach for young people
- Experience of safeguarding with vulnerable individuals

The Research and Evidence Project Manager role provides a dedicated research project management function to specific research projects. In this role as Research and Evidence Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing select research projects within the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector in a development setting. Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional project management to include operating at the intersection of academia, technical advisory, and project management. This role demands a unique blend of skills to effectively drive WaterAid's Research and Evidence agenda in alignment with our new Global Strategy, while also providing a dedicated research project management function to specific projects. About You:
- Proven experience of applied research, or equivalent demonstrable project management experience of policy-oriented or action research setting

Projects Assistant role description
The role involves identifying relevant project and research opportunities; assisting with developing winning bids and delivering successful projects. Examples of recent projects include developing a water scarcity index for BSi and creating an evaluation framework for water saving campaigns. You will report to a Projects Manager and be joining a small but growing sub-team winning and delivering water efficiency research projects. This role will support two key College projects; the Global Health Workforce Project for 3 days a week and the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) replacement project for 2 days a week.
For the Global Health Workforce Project you will be responsible for the RCPath’s overall project management and delivery obligations as lead partner. This will include providing key day-to-day administrative and project management support to ensure delivery of all project activities, milestones and reporting requirements, including communication about the progress of the project across a range of College media channels. You will act as the first point of contact for project partners and stakeholders in the UK and Africa and will be responsible for all the logistical planning and support for the project's key activities, including organisation and delivery of online lectures.
For 2 days a week you will support the implementation of the College’s new CRM system. You will act in a supporting role to carry out CRM project administration and support the CRM Project Manager on operational tasks. You will need to have the ability to plan, communicate and present information clearly and effectively to a wide range of stakeholders either virtually or in person. You will also need to be fully IT literate and confident in the use of Microsoft 365 applications.
The College is a professional membership organisation dedicated to the advancement of the science and practice of pathology. There are currently approximately 12,000 members, all of whom are pathologists based in hospitals, universities and laboratories in the UK and overseas. The College’s main tasks are to set and maintain training standards for doctors and scientists, to advice on the appointment of consultant pathologists, to ensure the membership is kept up to date with current practice through the continuing professional development scheme, and to promote the latest developments in pathology by holding scientific meetings.
