We work with a Recovery Based Approach, tailoring support to each individual’s needs and goals.

Endell Street, Covent Garden – 2 x Support Workers 

Endell Street supports 53 men and women experiencing homelessness. We provide psychologically informed support to help residents progress through the Camden Hostels Pathway toward independence. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support clients with housing, health, substance use, and employment needs. We’re looking for someone resilient, trauma-informed, and relationship-focused. 

Rosebery Avenue, Clerkenwell – 1 x Support Worker 

Rosebery Avenue is a 24/7 Skills and Employment service with 22 self-contained flats. The focus is on helping residents move into training, education, or work. You’ll join a small, dedicated team in a psychologically informed environment, working closely with partners like St Mungo’s Recovery College to deliver tailored support. 

Islington Mental Health Service, Islington – 1 x Support Worker 

This service supports 50 adults with severe and enduring mental health needs across two hostels and two semi-independent projects. You’ll provide person-centred, trauma-informed support to help residents build confidence, develop life skills, and work toward independent living.

Above all, you will have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives. If you have a good understanding of the complex issues faced by homeless people; personal experience of homelessness yourself and some experience of supporting vulnerable people through a process of change, we encourage you to apply.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is seeking Community care coordinators for some of our most vulnerable users of emergency services. These roles have been developed to further support our service users alongside our statutory partners at North Middlesex NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department, to increase their wellbeing, confidence, social integration, and independence.

• Develop and implement AvMA’s corporate partnerships offer, including sponsorship packages and bespoke opportunities.
• Identify and research new corporate prospects, working with colleagues to make approaches and secure partnerships.
• Lead the ongoing development of AvMA’s corporate fundraising strategy and toolkit, ensuring they reflect best practice and meet organisational needs.

Workplace Giving & Employee Engagement:

• Support and promote employee fundraising initiatives, matched giving, payroll giving, and workplace events.
• Provide companies and staff teams with engaging fundraising materials, advice, and digital resources.
• Develop case studies and impact content to showcase corporate and employee fundraising.

Digital Fundraising & Content Development:

• Create and maintain engaging digital content for the corporate fundraising section of AvMA’s new website.
• Use online platforms and digital channels to promote corporate giving opportunities and events.
• Work with our communications team to integrate corporate messaging into wider campaigns.

Data & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all corporate activity and income using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on performance against targets.
• Use data insights to improve supporter journeys and maximise income

General

• Attend in-person meetings and events as required (travel expenses covered).
• Contribute to AvMA’s wider fundraising strategy and cross-team projects.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as required.

Wildlife and Countryside Link is a coalition of 90 environmental charities. We are looking for a Policy Officer to help develop, advocate and win policy improvements for nature.

The Government has promised to halt the decline of nature by 2030 and to net zero by 2050, committing to decarbonising our energy systems as a core government mission. Such commitments have been made within the backdrop of a challenging economic environment. The next few years will be critical in securing nature based solutions as part of the drive to reach net zero and in developing our understanding of and engagement with private investment for nature’s recovery as these fledging funding streams evolve.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Policy Officer to convene environmental policy experts to agree bold shared policy positions. This role will focus on economic systems change, including innovative work on ways to drive private investment in nature; and on the role that nature must play in helping us to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change. There will be lots of thinking, lots of writing, and lots of opportunities to shape shared campaigns with excellent opportunities to engage with and work alongside some of the leading experts in these policy areas. You will also play a key role in delivering those messages to key influencers in Government and in Parliament.

About The East End Community Foundation (EECF)

EECF supports communities through our charitable activities of grants and programmes.  In 2024/25 these totalled over £1.6m and we intend to increase our grant making year on year to provide greater and longer-term support so we can continue to make a difference to the lives of local people by supporting vital community-based projects with grant funding. We are looking for a committed individual with knowledge of the local area to join the Grants and Programmes Team. Working as part of our small and busy team you will ensure that EECF delivers an accessible and credible grants service by providing advice, guidance and support to potential grant applicants, assessing applications for funding, and monitoring and evaluating the impact of our grant making.

The Role

Position: Grants Officer

Responsible to: Head of Grants and Programmes

Hours: 35 hours per week (full-time)

Annual Leave: 23 days (increasing incrementally to 30), plus public holidays

Key Responsibilities: 

· Assist the team in developing, managing, delivering and promoting EECF’s grants programmes.

· Provide information, advice and guidance to grant applicants

· Complete the assessment of grant applications including making phone calls/visits, and completing due diligence checks

· Manage a caseload of grantees including building relationships with grantees, liaising and agreeing outcomes for funded projects, preparing and issuing grant contracts, working with groups through the delivery of their projects to final reporting

· Ensure all information including grant applications are accurately recorded in a timely fashion on the database system Salesforce

· Conduct regular outreach and participate in networking events and awareness raising sessions aimed at potential grant applicants or recipients

· Review end of grant reports and collate information to provide annual reports on grant programmes 

· Contribute to the maintenance and development of grant making systems, policies and procedures including guidance notes, application forms and reporting structures

· Keep abreast of good practice in grant making and new initiatives being implemented by other local grant makers and community foundations

· Undertake such other tasks as may be required to meet the needs of the post as they arise and to ensure the smooth running of EECF’s grant making programmes and charitable activities 

Person Specification:  

Essential Experience/Skills  

· Knowledge and/or experience of delivering a grant making programme or of fundraising

· Understanding of the voluntary sector and community needs in the East End of London

· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately to strict deadlines

· Able to manage, prioritise and organise your own workload

· Strong written and oral communication

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our teams in Southwark as Assistant Support Worker (known internally as Duty Worker). You'll be able to develop valuable skills and experience while playing a key role in providing support to St Mungo’s clients.

Where you will work: Grange Road is a 29 bed - high complex needs support project situated in Southwark, commissioned by the City of London.

About the role

In the role of Duty Worker, you will be the first point of contact at reception for St Mungo’s clients and visitors and have the opportunity to create a welcoming and supportive environment within the project. Other responsibilities will include:

• Jointly running the project day to day with other members of the team.
• Working on reception to answer phones, oversee entry to the building, and provide basic advice and support to clients.
• Keeping communal areas and office space clean and tidy.
• Coordinating important Health and Safety checks and other administrative duties.
• Work alongside the team to provide a person-centred support to residents and clients.

Shift pattern: 3 week rolling rota, mix of early and late shifts. 1 weekend worked every 3 weeks (both Saturday and Sunday are 12.5hrs shifts).
