I’m the founder of That’s Still Rape, a non-profit challenging rape myths and their harmful impact on rape survivors. We use campaigns, media, and research to improve the public’s understanding of rape, tackle victim-blaming and debunk misinformation. Co-founder role:

We’re at a critical moment of growth and I’m looking for a co-founder to help scale the organisation. Together we’ll:

• Lead digital and guerrilla campaigns (petitions, rallies, research papers, billboards, and videos)

Web developers and designers wanted to support East London Waterworks Park in continuing to improve its website and digital infrastructure.

East London Waterworks Park is a volunteer-led charity that has won a 2024 New London Architecture award and raised £2m towards buying land from the Department for Education to transform the 14-acre Thames Water Depot on Lea Bridge Road on the border of Waltham Forest and Hackney, into a new biodiverse park with natural swimming ponds, forest schools and community spaces. 

We are looking for web developers and designers to contribute to our community-led working group who are working on coordinating content and infrastructure for the East London Waterworks Park website.

Keep our day-to-day finances tidy, accurate, and compliant, recording donations and expenses and reconciling ledgers. Help set up simple, reliable systems so we’re ready for year-end accounts, trustee reporting, and regulatory returns.

Time & location

Key responsibilities

• Record transactions: Log donations, grants, invoices, bills, and staff/volunteer expenses (attach receipts).

• Donation tracking: Maintain a donations register (date, source, restricted/unrestricted, Gift Aid eligibility).

What a good start for us looks like (first 3 months)

• All transactions entered and reconciled monthly with receipts attached. (we have very little currently)

• Finance Lead receives a tidy monthly file (bank recs + transaction export).
• Clear list of any gaps (missing receipts/policies) with suggestions to fix.

• Comfortable with spreadsheets and/or accounting software (e.g., Xero/QuickBooks/Sage—happy to adopt what suits as we have limited budget to work with paid solutions).

We’re a small, warm team not a large wealthy organisation and we care deeply about what we do. There are no airs and graces here, just real people doing our best to help families who need a break.
