• Attend People Committee Meetings and the Board as requested, and contribute to the preparation of meeting papers as necessary in line with agenda requirements. 
• Provide upward reporting and insight to the CEO including written briefings, performance dashboards, and recommendations.
• Attend internal and external meetings, including those that require representing the Trust publicly, in line with agreed strategies and perspectives.
• Monitor, update and ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements (e.g. safeguarding, employment, health & safety, data protection) to build a positive work culture.
• Champion collaboration and integration across departments, ensuring consistent implementation of work priorities that align with community needs and objectives.
• Support a values-based culture that centres equity, sustainability, openness, courage, and integrity.
• Contribute to organisational development and support the process of communicating and managing change effectively at the Trust in line with agreed policies and frameworks.

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes:

• Minimum 5 years’ senior leadership or operational management experience in a multi-disciplinary organisation, ideally within a community, charitable, social enterprise or values-led setting.
• Proven ability to lead, guide and motivate diverse teams and to support the professional growth of those who report to you as a line manager.
• Demonstrable experience of good practice approaches to conflict resolution, working in collaboration with others and encouraging honesty, transparency and open ways of working across teams that benefit the organisation’s effectiveness and efficiency.
• Excellent planning, organisation and performance management skills.
• Excellent writing and reporting skills, including the ability to summarise complex data and issues for decision-makers.

• Degree-level education together with a recognised professional qualification in any of the fields this role covers - or equivalent lived/professional experience – is highly desirable.

This peer support project is delivered in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust to support Carers of people with mental health conditions.  This project will work to support Carers through one-to-one support, outreach, training and peer support groups.

About The Role: 

Using your lived experience of caring for someone with a mental health condition, and a strengths-based approach, you will support mental health Carers in their caring role.  You will provide person centred one-to-one- support, information, signposting, and advocacy, develop, and facilitate peer support groups and deliver training and outreach sessions at different locations across the borough.

The role

CGL’s Business Development Team is a large national team. This role will sit within a smaller specialist services sub-team, who have responsibility for retaining existing specialist contracts and winning new business opportunities.

You will work with a small group of bid writers to oversee all aspects of the tender process. You will also have responsibility for pipeline management and work closely with our services and operational colleagues to navigate processes under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) regulations.

You will work collaboratively with people who use our services, front line staff and managers, clinicians, departmental leads and senior stakeholders including Directors, to develop service delivery models, budgets and partnerships for tenders and proposals.

You will have the opportunity to visit and engage with our staff and service users across the country, to learn about our services and specific local needs and challenges.

A mission-driven and impact focused single programme NGO is seeking a Finance Business Partner with strong financial modelling skills for a part-time, fully remote fixed term contract for approximately 4-6 months. The role is to support the Finance Director, HR team, CEO and other stakeholders with business partnering, along with specific financial modelling projects.

The organisation’s mission is to get 3-6 year old children in rural Africa to thrive. They have developed an award-winning Early Childhood Development programme, proven its impact through rigorous evaluation, and scaled it with governments in both Ghana and Uganda. It is currently reaching over 300,000 children per year, and we aim to reach 1 million children per year by 2028. The programme benefits both preschool age children and unlocks the potential of marginalised rural parents.

You will work in a busy finance team based in the UK, Ghana and Uganda. The role can be done fully-remotely from within the UK, and the salary range on offer is circa £50,000 - £60,000 FTE (pro-rata). It is anticipated there will be around 2-3 days work per week for approximately 4-6 months.

Experience within a business partnering / modelling role within the NGO sector would be very useful, but is not essential.

Duties include:

• Work focused on adaptions for new contexts: The programme targets rural communities in Ghana and Uganda. This year the organisation plans to scale to a new country and to test ways to adapt it for this new context. They are also keen to explore whether the programme can be adapted for refugee settings.
• Financial modelling focused on selecting a new country to launch the programme
• Specific cost modelling and fundraising modelling around the corporate sponsorship of the organisation’s radio station project

• Develop and strengthen robust and flexible cost models (including sensitivity analyses/stress testing) to guide decisions around the pace and rate of scale, staffing & resource requirements (HR), ensure value for money and maximise cost efficiencies.
• Develop robust budgets for new and renewal funder applications, considering complexities around funder restrictions, currency exchange and forecast economic conditions.
• Analysis and modelling on organisational procedures & policies and capacity building projects

Requirements:

• Fully or part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
• Demonstrable experience with finance business partnering to a range of stakeholders
• Strong financial modelling skills – ideally in things such as cost analysis, funding analysis etc
• Intermediate/advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills
• An understanding of international charity finance - donor reporting, programmes finance, foreign currency transactions is useful

Open Door is a young people’s mental health charity that has been based in Haringey, North London for 49 years. It aims to improve mental health and life-chances of young people. We provide an ‘Open Door’ to free, high quality psychological therapy to 12–24-year-olds delivered by experienced and highly trained clinicians. We also support parents and carers, struggling with the issues their children face. We aim for access to be simple and over half of those we support, self-refer. Open Door delivers evidence informed practice and has been commended for our ambitious approach to outcome driven care.

• Confident managing external advisers and auditors.

As Involvement and Volunteer Coordinator, you will lead the development of our volunteering and involvement infrastructure creating impactful opportunities that inform our services, drive engagement, and raise awareness of sarcoma.

Reporting to the HR and Governance Manager, you’ll work collaboratively across all internal teams and externally with people affected by sarcoma and their support networks. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we involve our community, build capacity, and deliver on our strategic goals.

Duties and Responsibilites: 

Involving people affected by sarcoma

• Strengthen and support our existing Involvement Network, keeping members engaged and informed.
• Facilitate a variety of inclusive involvement opportunities for people affected by sarcoma, reflecting diverse capacities, interests, and abilities, and ensuring these align with our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) framework.
• Recruit, induct, and train new Involvement Network members, promoting the network through Sarcoma UK’s communication channels.
• Develop systems to capture meaningful feedback and measure the impact of involvement activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues within Sarcoma UK to create and facilitate meaningful involvement opportunities that engage people with lived experience in our work, ensuring these opportunities are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with our strategic goals
• Champion the voice of patients and families across Sarcoma UK’s work.
• Produce and distribute a regular involvement newsletter to communicate opportunities, updates, and information about the work of Sarcoma UK.

Volunteer Management

• Develop and implement a volunteering programme aligned with Sarcoma UK's organisational objectives.
• Design and maintain efficient systems for the recruitment, screening, induction, and support of volunteers.
• Act as the initial point of contact for volunteer recruitment and onboarding, before handing over management to the relevant staff member (e.g. fundraising event organiser or project lead) depending on the role.
• Define clear volunteer roles and pathways that deliver impact and reflect volunteer motivations and interests.
• Plan and deliver engaging training for volunteers based on role requirements.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records using our database (Raiser’s Edge NXT).
• Develop and manage volunteer policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with volunteering regulations and best practice.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on the impact of volunteering initiatives.
• Administer volunteer expenses and coordinate recognition within agreed budgets.

 General

• Support cross-organisational projects that involve people affected by sarcoma.
• Attend Sarcoma UK events and contribute to the wider work of Sarcoma UK.
• Travel occasionally to meetings and events. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required (time off in lieu will be given).
• Work flexibly and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, undertaking other duties as required to support the wider operations of Sarcoma UK.

A little bit about the role

The Recruitment team is responsible for sourcing, selecting and hiring for 500 places for Approach Social Work (previously known as the Frontline programme) in local authorities across England.

You will be joining us at our busiest time, and will have day to day logistical and administration responsibilities with focus on supporting applicants through the selection stages of our programme, Approach Social Work.

You will work with the Selection team and share responsibilities between other Selection Coordinators to ensure the delivery of a highly effective and efficient recruitment process and to ensure the candidate experience is positive throughout. This role would suit someone who has had some experience interacting with customers, for example in admin support, retail, hospitality, customer service, or similar.

Please note that ‘Administrator’ is the title we use for advertising. Internally, administrators are known as ‘Coordinators’ so this role’s full title is Selection Coordinator.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating virtual assessment centres; manage scheduling, liaising with assessors and stakeholders, troubleshooting minor technical issues with the platform, and overseeing the smooth running of the day.
• Managing the logistics involved in planning and delivering over 40 assessment centre days (e.g. responding to candidate queries, monitoring candidate sign up, scheduling assessors).
• Tracking and monitoring candidate information using our online customer relationship management system, virtual assessment platform and Microsoft Excel using careful attention to detail.

A little bit about you 

We welcome applicants with some experience in customer service, administration, or logistics coordination. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and excels at managing multiple tasks and priorities. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can support candidates through the selection process, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth operations at assessment centers.

We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn.
