Women V Cancer is a unique partnership between Dream Challenges, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. Together, we have raised more than £20 million in fundraising across a portfolio of one day mass participation cycling events and overseas multi-day cycling challenges.

The partnership has big aspirations for growth and is looking for someone to join as a Fundraising and Partnerships Officer with key responsibilities in relationship management across the partners, reporting and analysis, events marketing, and participant stewardship.

The right candidate will be a self-driven and experienced fundraiser, whose knowledge of marketing strategies in fundraising and events, alongside an impactful supporter journey, can enable the development and growth of this long-standing partnership. You will have experience of the charity sector, event delivery, and social media marketing.

Key Areas 

Marketing and stewardship

• Increase participant numbers on events through comprehensive and diverse marketing campaigns.
• Assist in digital advertising of events including creations of social media campaigns and PPC.
• Assisting in maintenance and digital creation on the branded WVC microsite.
• Develop the partnerships first user-generated video content campaigns, and influencer campaigners, alongside the group Digital Marketing Manager.
• Assist with automated journeys from lead generation marketing.
• Assist with social media channels and assist in creating social media marketing.
• Create and send email marketing campaigns.
• Deliver stewardship journeys of registered participants on events.
• Increase the average fundraising raised per participant.
• Increase engagement and communications across relevant social media groups.

Relationship management

• Build strong relationships with all three parties and represent key stakeholder interests both internally and externally.
• Understand each individual partner’s ways of working, their individual tone of voice and organisational visions and ensure these are implemented across the partnership. 
• Coordinate project groups, communications and meetings, working with various teams within all parties to plan and schedule activities.

Reporting and analysis

• Work with the Marketing team and representatives from each of the charities to undertake campaign reporting, as well as post-event analysis including, but not limited to, audience insight and feedback, engagement and attendance rates, and fundraising per participant. 
• Establishing a clear payment schedule for both sides for marketing contributions and donations.
• Track performance including registration numbers and income – reporting back to all parties.
• Undertake analysis work to improve understanding of current audience demographics and their interests, reviewing this regularly to ensure accuracy.
• Undertake regular competitor analysis work to scope trends and gaps in the marketplace – looking at how we benchmark ourselves against our competitors.
• Support on the strategic planning devised by all partners, providing insight learnt from the portfolio and audience analysis to help shape this.

General 

• Keep up to date with sector knowledge to ensure best practice. 
• Identify new trends and scope out new product development. 
• Support all elements of event delivery (including volunteer recruitment, training weekends), attending UK and overseas events when required.
• Help identify and build relationships with relevant celebrities or influencers to contribute to the Women V Cancer marketing strategy
• Work alongside charity partners to develop supporter journeys for a series of UK and Overseas events which will increase conversion, average gift and retention.
• Identifying high value fundraisers and create a specific supporter journey for these individuals.

Personal Specification 

Essential:

• Strong project management skills: a logical and thorough planner with the determination to see tasks through to completion. 
• Experience in charity stewardship and increasing fundraising on live events.
• Experience in marketing events and recruiting participants.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to understand and marry up different priorities.
• Experience with partnership working, ideally across organisations.
• Clear and confident communicator, able to communicate with MDs, charity representatives and individuals taking part in events.
• Third Sector experience in a fundraising or supporter facing role. 
• Confident in engaging with supporters who may be vulnerable.
• Excellent time management skills: able to manage a wide and varied workload, prioritising key tasks and ensuring that deadlines are always met. 
• Ambition and determination, both personally for your own professional development and for the organisation.
• Knowledge of marketing avenues, including digital and out of home marketing and techniques to enhance and track performance.
• Experience of working with various social media channels.
• Experience of delivering events or supporting on delivery of events.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join our Wellbeing team and work across two new projects aimed at improving older people's lives. Working closely with Age UK's Network of 120+ local and independent Age UK partners, this role will support the delivery of projects across their life cycle, ranging from the implementation of funder-led reporting requirements to liaising with partners on the impact the project has had on their beneficiaries.

The successful candidate would enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills to ensure the successful delivery of the projects. You will carry out a range of duties to assist the team in the coordination, planning, monitoring, and delivery of the Programme. From researching and meeting with relevant suppliers and organisations, to assisting with the development and maintenance of project plans. The post-holder will need to work effectively with our other internal departments, local Age UKs and delivery partners. Therefore, proficient organisational and communication skills are a must.

Please note that due to the Hybrid nature of this role, the successful applicant may be required to commute to the central London co-working hub on a regular basis, for example around four times per month.

About the role

The London Library is planning a major, multi-year building project and is looking for a Senior Facilities Officer - Project Management to work within the Buildings and Facilities Management team to help support and deliver the project.

As part of a small, hands-on team, this new role will also support the Library’s maintenance and improvement programmes, arranging contractor works and providing liaison with colleagues across the Library. The post reports to the Buildings & Facilities Manager. Some weekend and out of hours working will be required.

As Project Support Officer you will support the London & South East Area Manager and Regional Managers with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training, giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our London & South East projects as and when required to aid development and growth within the region.

Each of our Projects is run by Project Leaders (volunteer position) and supported by Regional Managers through recruitment and training of volunteers. Your will support the Regional Managers so that they can manage more projects, knowing that you have helped with the embedding of volunteers, along with supporting expansion plans within their areas. This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, and recruiting new Project Leaders for the Area.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to talk confidently to external people about our Projects. You will also be a good organizer, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within multiple Projects. You will have a passion for food and cooking, and be committed to our objectives and ethics.

This role will require some attendance at our Community Meals projects, to support with delivery as necessary, which will include evening and weekend work. As well as projects across London, our South East projects include Southampton, Portsmouth, Aylesbury and exciting new openings in Slough and Reading in 2024.

The role

 We’re seeking an Events and Project Officer to join our ambitious Support, Research, and Influencing team.

This is a brand-new role that will play a vital role in our team to ensure health professionals across the UK have a better awareness and understanding of pancreatic cancer and the complex supportive care needs of those affected. You can be proud to know that you’re playing a part in these services which will ultimately improve the standard of support and care received by people affected by pancreatic cancer from their healthcare team. 

In this role, you will: 

• Co-ordinate a selection of our highly-rated virtual educational events for health professionals.
• Support with the development and creation of new online courses and reviews of existing online courses for health professionals.
• Co-ordinate the delivery of our patient-facing webinars, working in collaboration with the support services team and nurses.
• Support with the co-ordination of our annual in-person Research Forum; parliamentary events and health improvement events; and engagement events with stakeholders in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales. 

About You

• You will have experience in coordinating successful events, in particular webinars.
• You will have excellent organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• You will be passionate about working for the charity and transforming the future for people affected by pancreatic cancer.

The Talent Set are delighted to be partnering once again with The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity as they look to recruit a new Digital Project Officer.

This is an exciting time to join the Marketing and Digital team as they shape and improve the charity’s approach to marketing planning and campaign development and begin work to significantly increase awareness of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. 

You’ll be joining a team of ambitious people, excited about the opportunity ahead!

The charity offers a hybrid working pattern, spending 2 days a week in their London offices at Chelsea and Sutton.

Key responsibilities include:
· Supporting the Digital team to carry out day to day content updates on the current website, where required, to support the charity’s fundraising activities.
·  Help support the onboarding of an agency for design and build and act as a key point of contact for the delivery phases.
· Assist the Digital Project Manager in managing the discovery, planning, design, build and testing and launch phases of the new website.
 · Help support a robust testing phase and a smooth go live process.
. Experience of CMS and Drupal is essential.

World Cancer Research Fund International is a leading authority on cancer prevention research related to diet, weight and physical activity. World Cancer Research Fund International is a not-for-profit organisation that:

·Influences public health policy at the highest level, and acts as trusted advisor to governments and other official bodies from around the world

·Leads & unifies a network of cancer prevention charities based in Europe and the Americas. 

We are seeking a Science and Policy Project Manager who will provide project management support across the science and policy departments for the core programmes and for cross cutting activities such as conferences and communications. You will report to the Director of Research, Policy and Innovation with the delivery of the science and policy strategies. You will also work closely with the Assistant Director of Research and Policy and there will also be interaction and communication with the Heads of Research Funding, Research Interpretation and Policy and Public Affairs as well as other colleagues in the network countries. 

You will be educated to MSc level in Public Health, Nutrition, Epidemiology or closely related field and have experience working in a research/public health setting and developing scientific/policy reports, summaries and presentations. You will have proven scientific project management skills with experience in monitoring progress, performance reporting and delivering projects on time and budget. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment, and with stakeholders at all levels.
