Job Purpose

Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a corporate fundraising and partnerships strategy

2. Shape and implement the wider Fundraising Strategy in collaboration with the Director and SLT.

3. Lead income forecasting, budget setting, reporting and analysis, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

4. Lead a proactive acquisition approach and drive new business activity and secure at least five-figure partnerships and donations

5. Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline of corporate prospects

6. Work with teams across the organisation to develop and prepare tailored cases for support, proposals and reports and bespoke updates and communications to donors

7. Personally identify and manage a portfolio of key relationships

8. Monitor income performance and provide timely reports and analysis, including reporting to the BC board and the BC Trading Company Board

9. Negotiate and deliver partnership agreements ensuring delivery against agreed targets and a good return on investment for the charity.

10. Update and maintain records of all business and corporate approaches, communications and agreements on the CRM and appropriate files.

11. Where required develop and/or follow policies and procedures on due diligence, data management, account management, stewardship, and reporting.

12. Represent fundraising in the development and use of CRM systems and insight tools.

13. Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate income coding, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

14. Line-manage and support the Corporate Fundraising Officer, driving performance and innovation through a solution focused approach.

15. Manage external agencies and ensure contracts meet compliance and strategic needs.

16. Actively contribute to SLT and organisational strategy, projects, and decision-making.

About You
 
Essential competencies of the Campaigns and Media Manager:

• A self-starter brimming with creative ideas and proven experience of designing and executing high-impact campaigns that bring about a measurable change in knowledge, behaviour and / or policy.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders, including political audiences, and confident in growing new relationships and leading meetings.

We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the development/digital marketing team for a twelve month fixed term contract.

Position: CE369 Full-stack Developer (two posts)

Location: Home-based, UK, Nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work related meetings)

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Digital Developer, the Full-stack Developer will help to make a mark on the transformation and future proofing of all Association websites and microsites whilst helping the development/digital marketing team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Combining solid LAMP stack experience with strong skills in HTML, JavaScript and pre-processed CSS and a proven working knowledge of Drupal 9/10 to build accessible and high performing responsive website solutions
• Working in an agile environment, both independently and with other team members, from tickets created in the Jira project management system by a range of internal clients across the charity
• A willingness to switch between the back and front end development aspects of the role depending on the requirement of each given task
• Offering solutions to problems and improvements to the quality of the Drupal development environment

• Ensuring that best practices are followed for both back and front end performance
• Writing high standard, clean code to best current practices using version control (Git)

About You

You will have/be:

As our Bid Writer, you will strategically lead AWN’s fundraising support to grassroots primarily Muslim-led organisations. You will help shape the service and act as the primary advisor on grant funding, deliver high-quality bids, and build AWN’s capacity to increase the flow of resources into underserved communities. • Lead and support bid writing for grassroots organisations aligned with AWN’s priorities.
