This role is crucial in making sure we deliver exceptional service, stay compliant, and run our project efficiently— whilst ensuring our mission, vision and values are not compromised. 

The Employment Support Coordinator will regularly meet with participants to listen, offer support and help them identify their best job match, reflecting their skills and aspirations.

In your day-to-day role, you will be striving to build, expand and strengthen the project whilst working closely with the Employment Manager to ensure all key performance indicators and any project targets are met. The role is responsible for onboarding individuals into the project as well as delivering face-to-face mentoring, work experience in and outdoors and coaching.

Project Skills:

• Support with the daily operations of the project scope.
• Supporting individuals through CV production, profiling, interview techniques, attending interviews, workshops, job clubs and managing their health at work.
• Adhere to the strategies to grow and enhance the projects, meeting the ever-changing needs of those we support.
• Identify skills gaps for participants and offer Asdan short courses to support development.
• Building relationships with community partners including DWP, Social Care and prescribers, and other charities and government organisations to gain referrals for the project.
• Sourcing job opportunities for your participants through regular contact with key local employers.

Teamwork:

• Work in partnership with Hamelin’s service offer, especially the Links service and Opportunity Center.
• Ensure the project remains a motivated team that aligns with our values and goals.
• Report on the performance of the current project, providing feedback and support to ensure high standards of care and efficiency.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Follow Hamelin’s policies and procedures to maintain best practices and regulatory standards.
• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including gathering feedback from project participants and colleagues to keep improving our service delivery.
• Engage with and become involved with continuing self-development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with project participants, families, local and health authorities representatives, and other key stakeholders.
• Represent the Charity and service at meetings, events, and forums, advocating for the needs and rights of those we support.
•  Work closely with other teams and services within the charity to ensure a unified approach to care and support.

Business Development:

• Identify and exploit opportunities for expanding the service, from new partnerships and funding sources both inside and outside health and care to innovative care models.
• Prepare and present feedback and data when required, to the Employment Manager.
• Lead marketing and promotion of the service, boosting awareness. interest and attracting new project participants.

About You

It’s essential that:

• You have at least two years’ experience within a coordination/administration service for individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• You have a proven track record of successful project administration.
• You hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
• Be ready to work flexibly, which could include weekends and bank holidays. You might also be asked to work in different services as needed.

Summary /overall purpose

We are seeking an energetic, highly organised and proactive individual to join our friendly team. As the Research Programmes Coordinator, you will work closely with the Director of Patient and Clinical Research Programmes and the wider research team, playing a key role in the smooth delivery of our diverse research initiatives and events.

You will be at the centre of coordinating the administration of patient events, workshops, high-profile conferences and other events, ensuring they run seamlessly. In addition, you will be responsible for keeping the research portfolio tracking system up to date. The role also involves providing administrative support to the research team as needed.

Main responsibilities

· Scientific & Patient Event Management: Support the end-to-end project management of scientific events, conferences, symposiums and patient workshops ensuring smooth execution, timely delivery, and alignment with strategic goals.

· Research Programme Administration & Portfolio Management: Provide administrative and operational support across the Foundation’s research portfolio, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and documentation.

· Event Planning, Scheduling & Logistics Coordination: Lead the practical organisation and scheduling of multiple events and meetings, including venue booking, catering, AV setup, travel, reimbursements, and supplier management. · 2-3 years of experience in cancer or other health related field.

As a cross-team housing caseworker, you will work alongside individuals who are at risk of homelessness, often during times of heightened stress and uncertainty. You’ll work across our network of charity partners, bringing vital capacity and support to local teams during times of increased demand or staff shortages. We are looking for an Interim Director of Research (Maternity Cover) who will lead a talented research team of staff and associates providing direction and oversight for a diverse, ambitious research portfolio. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play an essential role in strategy and have a hands-on approach from quality assurance and developing research practice, to managing projects and nurturing partnerships.

You will need to have deep roots in qualitative research, as well as the work of charities and funders, with experience of line management, team supervision and leading on new work development.

You will play an essential role at a key moment for IVAR. Charities are facing mounting pressures and ongoing complexities, and IVAR’s work is critical in supporting the response.

About us

At the Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR), we work with charities, foundations and public agencies to strengthen UK communities through action research. We champion the role and contribution of the voluntary sector. We listen, learn and share what helps – and what gets in the way – so that funders and decision-makers can put charity voice at the heart of change.

As Interim Director of Research, you will lead a motivated and talented team of research staff and freelance research associates. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing a strategic and balanced research portfolio, including leadership of project design and new work development.

You will work closely with the Director of IVAR and both the Deputy Director of Research and Director of Communications to support quality assurance, supervise specific projects, and ensure that IVAR meets its ethical standards. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will also support and feed in on all people matters and contribute to embedding an inclusive and equitable approach and internal culture. You will have a proven track record at the senior leadership team level and in line management, experienced at moving between strategic and operational priorities, and be confident to lead a research team in a collaborative and developmental way.

It is essential that you have experience of the voluntary sector and working with funders.

As the Adult Carers Activities Coordinator, you will directly deliver our leisure break activity and training programmes. What is the overall purpose of the role?

Camp Jojo is a small/medium, but growing charity with a committed team of Trustees, Special Advisors, and Volunteers. This is a chance to contribute to a dynamic organisation and work in a supportive environment. In particular, Camp Jojo’s extension of its work to Nags Head Farm, Appleby, Cumbria, is new; with Open Days held in 2025, and the first camps to be held in August 2026.

The holder of this post will be critical to this development; working to establish a sister site in Cumbria to Ivy Farm on Mersea island, Essex, with a well tried and tested model of operations. The role of Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager (Families and Site Ops) is to offer leadership and administrative support to key functions of Camp Jojo at Nags Head Farm, and to members of the Camp Jojo Board, in relation to the camps held at Nags Head Farm.

The Contractor will handle clerical and logistics tasks for the organisation in a timely and efficient way. The primary task of the Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will be to oversee family applications to the camps, and to maintain and develop data bases in support of this. They will hold a key role in relation to communications with the families pre-, during, and post-camps. In addition, they will attend and minute meetings, and contribute to camp operations in planning etc. They may need to work flexibly, according to the seasonal demands of the charity.

They will attend the first day (Friday) of each camp The Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will have a varied and sometimes high-pace job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, interact professionally with the wider Camp Jojo community, and be very good communicators.

As the Supporter Engagement & Legacy Manager you will play a key role as we seek to reignite our legacy marketing programme and grow overall individual giving income to help ensure long-term support for those facing financial difficulty. You will be responsible for the project management and implementation of all supporter engagement activity, acquisition, and legacy marketing activities, ensuring all activity is optimised and campaigns include enhanced digital and social media content.  

Reporting to the Co-Heads of Supporter Engagement and managing the Supporter Engagement Officer, you will develop a multi-year plan to rebuild legacy income and a pipeline of legacy supporters, including re-engaging the EFH care home staff and major donors.

You will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction, operational plans and effective management of Turn2us’s giving programmes from individuals including appeals, regular giving and legacies, maximising net income from new and existing income streams.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing direct marketing campaigns in a charity environment as well as proven ability to manage successful legacy marketing campaigns. They will have significant experience stewarding individuals and legacy supporters and be adept at communicating the impact of donations, as well as having line management experience. The ability to make a strong case for supporting Turn2us’ key areas of work is crucial, as is an aptitude for proactively increasing acquisition and retention rates.

The post holder will also be a self-starter who is comfortable building new strategies from a relatively small pool of supporters and is experienced testing different tactics to establish the best practice for Turn2us.
