About the role

The Group Work Facilitator will play a pivotal role in delivering the CouRAGEus Project, an initiative designed to support Black and Global Majority young women, LGBTQ+ youth, and disabled young people. The Corporate Partnerships Officer will join a small and high-performing Corporate Partnerships team, taking over a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects at our ‘consortium’ partner level, ranging from £10k-£50k per annum.

You will identify, engage, secure, and steward corporate partner prospects from sectors that include law, construction, manufacturing and logistics, as well as supporting other team members across different sectors as the need arises. The existing portfolio of partners are primarily legal firms who also engage with our impactful programmes, and you will also have personal and team new business targets and support senior team members to steward our flagship partners.

We are looking for a fundraiser who is keen to develop their corporate fundraising skills, especially building relationships with delivery partners, strategic funders, and corporate foundations. Main duties

New business

• Personally scope, develop and secure new corporate partnerships at consortium level (£10k-£50k), aiming for a robust portfolio of partners in assigned sectors with multi-year commitments, working with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and other relevant stakeholders to appropriately to secure and steward.

Do you want to help inform how the UK understands and debates carbon dioxide removal (CDR) in the context of the net zero transition, including the role that land use and nature can play? Do you enjoy making complex issues easier to understand for a wide audience, including journalists, decision-makers and the public?

The Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU) is a non-profit organisation that supports informed debate on energy and climate change issues in the UK. We provide independent analysis and accessible briefings to the media and other stakeholders to improve understanding of climate-related topics and contribute to evidence-based discussions. Our work covers a range of issues including land use, transport, the power sector, and heating and buildings, with a focus on the UK but with international work too.

This role involves tracking and responding to media, political, and policy debates on CDR, focusing initially on land-based removals and expanding to engineered removals. You will highlight trade-offs, counter misinformation, and support fact-based future debates.

Working closely with our Head of Land and Head of Analysis, you will contribute new analysis, monitor the debate, and help develop communications outputs. This is a unique opportunity to play a role in how the UK engages with one of the most complex and fast-evolving areas of climate policy.

Role and Responsibilities

·Analyse land use, nature-based solutions, and CDR using various sources and data; present findings clearly in reports, briefings, press releases, and social media content.

·Monitor and analyse emerging political and media debate around CDR and nature-based solutions, including misinformation.

·Provide fast turnaround analysis of breaking developments, synthesising findings into accessible and impactful outputs for media and other stakeholders.

·Stay updated on climate and energy policy, particularly CDR, land use, and related political and media narratives.

·Support strategic planning around key moments, identifying risks and opportunities to support well informed discussion and responsible coverage of these topics.

·Collaborate with colleagues across programmes to develop joined up, multi-channel communications outputs

·Develop and maintain a network of stakeholders in the land use, CDR, climate, media and policy communities.

·Brief journalists on CDR issues and our findings, and, where appropriate, act as a media spokesperson for ECIU.

·Contribute to ECIU’s newsletter, website, and other outward facing materials.

Skills and Experience

Essential

·Analysis

oStrong analytical background.

oAn academic background in environmental science or related areas (preferably at a Masters or PhD level).

oAbility to quickly analyse data and summarise key insights in accessible, engaging formats.

oSkilled in conducting quantitative analysis, including familiarity with key data sources relating to CDR and the ability to develop new analysis projects to answer relevant questions.

oAbility to design and deliver new analysis projects relevant to carbon dioxide removal (CDR), land use and net zero.

oSkilled in using data to support communications and build compelling, evidence-based outputs.

·Knowledge and Context

oGood understanding of UK climate policy and the net zero transition.

Head of Finance

Permanent role offering a salary of up to £71,000 pa, depending on experience

Location: Hybrid working with minimum 2 days per week in the London office (near Moorgate)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to join our team. The role will sit within our Central Services Team and will report to the Director of Resources and Business Systems.

In this role, you'll be responsible for producing and delivering monthly management accounts, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring robust internal controls are in place. You'll also manage the year end audit, budgeting and forecasting and support procurement processes, while leading a dedicated finance team.

We’re on the lookout for a Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This role focuses on acquiring new cash and regular givers across a range of channels including direct dialogue, direct mail, digital and telephone, helping fund research that will save and improve lives.

In this role you’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. You’ll drive on campaigns across a broad range of channels, with the aim of recruiting new, and re-engaging, lapsed regular and cash supporters. You’ll look for ways to test and innovate to drive the lowest attrition, best ROI and strongest lifetime value. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to drive the best creative, messaging, targeting and data insights.

What we want from you

Aside from excellent knowledge and experience of working in a direct marketing environment, you’ll also have a range of channel experience and marketing knowledge, ideally gained from a fundraising environment.

The ability to manage expenditure budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance.

The focus of this role is on producing clear, insight-led recommendations that support teams across the organisation in making evidence-based decisions.
The Audience Insight team operates as a hybrid internal agency and consultancy, leading transformative market research that shapes strategic direction. Our work spans a wide range of audiences, including supporters, service users and the public, and includes both primary research and analysis of secondary data sources. We also partner with trusted external agencies on key large-scale research initiatives.

You will:

We are looking for a capable and creative Content Coordinator to join our Marketing and Digital team. This is a crucial role, working across our digital channels to deliver ongoing communications and create content. You will be comfortable writing for different channels, formats and audiences, able to adapt your approach according to what’s needed. As a team, we cover a wide range of activities, and every day is different. You could be going from working on video editing one moment, to building an automated email campaign or preparing content for Instagram the next. 

The Content Coordinator manages operational and administrative activity for the content team, ensuring that things run smoothly. You will have responsibility for our content calendar, managing the shared inbox and coordinating requests from staff. You will work closely with all Marketing and Digital team members, as well as with colleagues from across the RCR, helping to deliver effective and engaging communications. 

What you’ll do

• Manage the day to day operations of our email platform, helping to develop new opportunities, build workflows and analyse engagements.
• Help to develop and deliver compelling content for our social media channels.
• Optimise and improve website content, ensuring consideration of SEO and UX.
• Edit and deliver video content for our channels, alongside other digital assets.
• Provide critical operational support for our channels, content planning and the wider team. 
• Work with colleagues across the organisation in building high quality, engaging content for audiences, using insight to drive decision making.
