Job Title: Finance Officer – Accounts Payable
Salary: £28,844 per annum (increasing to £32,047 per annum after 18 months) + £750 per annum Homeworking Allowance
Hours & Contract: 35 Hours per week - Permanent Role

Overall Duties of the Finance Officer – Accounts Payable will include:
- Recording all changes to carer payments on the finance system, on the carer’s purchase ledger account.
- Process carer pay in line with established timescales
- Prepare fee invoices to Local Authorities and other customers
- Manage the processing of children’s savings
- Recording of purchase invoices on the system and process BACS payments to suppliers
- Lead on and review aged creditors report
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and monitor unreconciled transactions
- Assist with the monitoring of receipts, remittance and outstanding debtors.

The Finance Officer – Accounts Payable may be homebased within England, Scotland or Wales but will be required to travel for occasional training and team wellbeing events.
A Standard DBS clearance is required for this role and will be processed by TACT on your behalf.

The Group Volunteer Administrator reports into the Group Volunteer Manager and is responsible for the smooth operation of our group volunteer services. They will play a vital role within the volunteer function by ensuring the smooth running of the volunteer lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding.
They will support the Group Volunteer Manager in the delivery of workshops to volunteer leads and ensure an overall positive experience for our volunteers.

You will play a pivotal role supporting the Charity in several different ways. Working with the Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure the smooth running of the organisation, providing administrative support to the Director of Operations and the Chief Executive. As a self-starter you will manage a range of tasks such as diary management, meeting minutes, assisting with event administration and HR administration. No two days will be the same!
You will be the point of contact for our HR, recruitment and training systems, ensuring consistency and assurance across the organisation. You will support HR administration such as supporting recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding of colleagues as well as taking minutes for Board meetings, so you will need to be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
As a team player, you will provide comprehensive, confidential and sensitive people-orientated administration support, developing a deep understanding of our organisation, our work and build strong, effective working relationships with colleagues.
Remote working at home can be challenging for some and for others, it works incredibly well. You will need to be able to work on your own, use your own initiative and ensure you are proactive in maintain good levels of communication and contact with your colleagues to ensure we deliver the best service possible to people with ME.
