We’re looking for a Property Project Manager to support with the delivery of several key construction projects, helping make sure our dogs have a safe, comfortable environment while they’re in our care.
What does this role do?
As Property Project Manager, you’ll:
- deliver end-to-end project management for all major works completed by the property department, critically understanding opportunities and risks associated with all projects, which may include large-scale rehoming centre rebuilds or renovations, often running simultaneously and at pace,
- provide guidance and support to the wider property team, including occasionally supporting with business-as-usual asset management,
- build key relationships with various stakeholders across Dogs Trust, from front-line operations teams to the legal team, as well as external contractors such as contractors or professional appointees.
Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for Tuesday 3rd March 2026, and will take place on Teams.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be an experienced surveyor with significant project management experience, who is capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously. Ideally, you’ll have some experience in construction management, with an understanding of the complexities and challenges that may arise in projects of this nature, combined with excellent financial control over projects. You’ll need excellent interpersonal skills too, as you’ll need to build strong relationships across the charity. An interest in, and commitment to, the work of Dogs Trust is essential.

The Role of Diocesan Housing Surveyor
We are looking for someone who can work alongside the Diocesan Property Manager, and Property Officer, to assist in the management of the Clergy Housing stock comprising of 160 houses across Coventry and Warwickshire.
The main responsibilities of the of Diocesan Housing Surveyor
are:
- Inspect Clergy houses and assess repairs and improvements necessary in compliance with Coventry Diocese Clergy Housing Standards.
- Implement the recommendations of the property reports.
- Arrange property inspections and implement the required works with the agreement of the Property Manager.
- Arrange stock condition surveys.
- Address reactive repairs and ensure works are undertaken and completed in accordance with the Housing Standards.
- Prepare schedules of work and cost budgets, agree these with the Property Manager before tendering to approved contractors.
What we are looking for in a Diocesan Housing Surveyor:
· Driving Licence with access to own car
· Previous experience of managing small works contracts
· Working knowledge of residential building defects and their resolution
· Proven awareness of health and safety with regard to building management and works contracts.
· Being responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of properties whilst remaining within budgetary and time constraints
· Degree Level or relevant experience commensurate to the role
· Evidence for continuing professional development.
· Familiarity using a modern Property Management software package.

Role Purpose
Oversee a blended model of in-house direct labour teams and external supply chain partners, lead and empower your teams to successfully deliver effective building, mechanical, electrical and regulated compliance related works and services across the organisation's property portfolio to ensure our homes are safe and well maintained. Delivering against challenging KPI's, ensure continuous improvement and customer safety across gas, fire, water, electrical, lifts, M&E and asbestos.
Working with the Property Services Director and Assistant Directors to shape and implement the Property Compliance Delivery strategies to deliver effective building/property regulatory compliance in line with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements. Instrumental in leading change and embedding a positive, enthusiastic, and empowered culture that enables colleagues to deliver good performance and great customer service.
Lead on new ways of working including the use of modern digital solutions to make our business more effective, agile, and responsive, requiring a forward and outward looking approach as well as an open mind and applying Lean principles in decision making.
Key Accountabilities
- Shape and contribute to the organisation's long-term compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with national housing policy and emerging legislation.
- Lead on the effective management of statutory compliance, ensuring all regulatory and legislative responsibilities for gas, electrical, asbestos, fire safety, legionella, water, and lifts are delivered.

The role
We’re looking for a proactive Property Services Officer to support the delivery of safe, compliant homes, with a strong focus on Awaab’s Law, damp and mould, and HHSRS compliance.
You will coordinate repairs, compliance works and void property repairs and improvements, working closely with surveyors, contractors and housing colleagues to ensure works are delivered on time, to standard and in line with service level agreements.
Key responsibilities
- Support the management of damp and mould cases, tracking actions and timescales in line with Awaab’s Law and HHSRS
- Coordinate responsive repairs, compliance works and property repairs, ensuring completion targets and SLAs are met
- Liaise with contractors to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to the required standard
- Monitor progress, chase outstanding actions and escalate delays or quality concerns where needed
- Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation and audit trails
- Assist with contractor compliance checks and invoicing processes

What you'll be doing
As a Team Manager, you’ll lead and manage a team of Housing Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to customers living in our supported housing properties. Both services support young people aged 16–25, and one of the services is OFSTED registered. You’ll provide guidance, supervision, and development opportunities for your team while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role is about empowering your team, driving performance, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers from day one.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in housing and a strong understanding of statutory and community services.
- A background in providing support to people with complex needs and trauma, ideally as a senior support worker or team manager.
- Proven ability to motivate and manage a team, ensuring high standards of care and support.

We're looking for an organised and proactive Housing Administrator to join our small, friendly team. This is a key role providing comprehensive administrative support across our housing service, coordinating repairs and maintenance, assisting with letting our empty homes and ensuring full compliance with health and safety and statutory requirements.
You’ll have real impact, helping us improve our services, support tenants, and keep everything running smoothly, so no two days will be the same.
You’ll be a first point of contact for tenants, contractors and colleagues, ensuring efficient communication and a positive customer experience. Working closely with your colleagues you’ll help us to maintain excellent service delivery and uphold our compliance standards across our 165 homes.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate day to day housing administration including lettings, tenancy updates, and customer enquiries.
- Administer and monitor repair and maintenance, raising works orders, liaising with contractors, processing invoices, and updating tenants.
- Assist with our empty homes from tenancy termination through to re-let.
- Support the delivery and monitoring of all compliance activities, including gas, electrical, fire, legionella, and asbestos safety checks.
- Maintain records and produce reports.
- Assist with income collection and rent administration.
- Contribute to a positive customer experience by supporting the housing team with engagement, communication, and service delivery.
This role requires travel to our housing schemes in Newmarket, with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.
About you
Prior experience in housing, property management, or a similar administrative role is highly desirable, particularly with exposure to repairs, voids, and compliance processes.
However, we recognise that excellent candidates don’t always follow a single career path. If you can demonstrate strong transferable skills such as managing complex workloads, liaising with customers and suppliers, and maintaining accurate records we’d encourage you to apply.
You don’t need to know everything on day one, but the following will help:
- Experience in housing administration, repairs coordination or compliance monitoring.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements for residential properties.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small collaborative team.
- Customer focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
- A proactive, people-focused mindset with a passion for quality housing
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
