SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Events & Marketing Coordinator will play an essential role in delivering high-impact engagement activities and supporting the wider work of RABI’s Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Events & Engagement Manager, you’ll help coordinate the charity’s presence at a wide range of events -including agricultural shows, external affairs engagements, conferences and community activities, ensuring a consistently professional and compelling presence across England and Wales. You will play a key part in engaging with supporters, volunteers, ambassadors and the public, representing RABI with warmth and professionalism.

The role will also help collate and provide valuable marketing and content support, including supporting the capturing of photography and video for use on digital channels, assisting with the development of volunteer and ambassador case studies, and supporting CRM data collection and engagement surveys. This is an exciting, hands-on, outward-facing role suited to an organised, creative and personable team player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Coordination and Delivery

• Assist with the organisation and delivery of national and regional events including agricultural shows, external affairs events, volunteer engagement activities and community outreach initiatives.
• Support event logistics such as venue booking, catering, AV, signage, promotional materials, staffing, travel, and health and safety compliance.
• Coordinate post-event evaluation, collecting feedback, attendance data, and impact measures to inform future planning.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive events calendar.

Marketing and Promotional Support

• Work with the MarComms team to coordinate event and show related content for social media, digital platforms and printed collateral.
• Ensure all events, shows and conferences are added to RABI’s website and online calendar.
• Assist with design and distribution of promotional materials, using templates in Canva and maintaining brand consistency.
• Help to prepare pre-event and post-event communications including invitations, newsletters and thank-you communications.
• Manage and maintain an up-to-date inventory of promotional stock and branded materials.
• Support the wider MarComms team on cross-department projects and campaigns.

Stakeholder, Volunteer and Ambassador Engagement

• Liaise with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure smooth event operations and representation.
• Coordinate volunteer and ambassador attendance at events and help ensure a positive experience.
• Provide on-site support at key events, acting as a friendly and informed ambassador for RABI.

Administrative and Reporting Duties

• Support the Events Manager with budget tracking and processing of invoices and expenses.
• Ensure accurate record keeping in the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).
• Support internal coordination meetings and help document action points and timelines.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in event delivery, marketing or a related role.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in managing social media platforms and scheduling tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels and be confident and professional in a public-facing role.
• A self-starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independently.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask under pressure.
• Eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, mission-led events.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office suite and online platforms such as Teams, Canva or similar.
• Willingness to travel across England and Wales and to occasionally work evenings and weekends.

Desirable

• Experience working in rural or agricultural settings, or an understanding of the farming sector.
• Welsh language proficiency (spoken and/or written) is desirable for this role, to support effective comms and engagement with Welsh-speaking stakeholders and communities.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics).

• Full UK driving licence.

These enquiries come from empty homeowners, those with concerns about empty homes in their community, people interested in buying and renovating empty homes, and empty homes practitioners.  The Adviser will provide advice to these groups via telephone and email and will ensure online advice content remains up to date, creating new resources as needed. They will undertake activities to promote the service and wider partnership to reach the intended audience, including social media and events.

Role specifics

You will provide advice on empty homes options to owners, neighbours, potential buyers, and practitioners, responding to enquiries by phone and email with a focus on assessing needs and achieving desired outcomes. The role involves advocating for clients with other agencies, maintaining high standards to meet contractual and professional targets, and accurately recording information on our case management system. You will identify cases needing further advice and make referrals where necessary, collaborating with Shelter services and other agencies. Empowering clients to self-help, keeping advice knowledge up to date, and working within the service’s operating model are key. You will also provide written advice confirmations, update online advice resources, contribute to marketing efforts such as events and social media, and carry out other duties as directed by your line manager.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

Working within experienced and committed teams, the Behaviour Change Worker will deliver trauma responsive interventions including one to one support and group work to prevent harm.

Centre Leaders are based at one of our IntoUniversity learning centres and work directly with young people, schools and families on a daily basis. It is therefore not a hybrid role and is based full-time in our centres

Location

We currently have positions at our Bow and East Ham centres.

The role requires intermittent travel in your region (usually within the day). Periodic travel out of the area is also required e.g. to London, this may include occasional overnight stays.

£39,100 (inclusive of £2,700 London contribution)

JOB PURPOSE

UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive team player who can join us as a Senior Officer, Direct Marketing, within the Individual Giving Team.  

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for some of our key donor development activities: you will be a confident communicator and experienced project manager, with a strong knowledge of donor development key touchpoints and best practice, as well as a tracked record of managing telemarketing and Direct Mail campaigns

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead on the overall donor development offline programme for both cash and committed donors, ensuring a strong onboarding and onward journey is in place, and that key touchpoints are leveraged to deepen engagement and increase donors’ Lifetime Value.
• Work with digital fundraising colleagues to create integrated, multichannel campaigns and an effective, donor-first giving journey.
• Provide colleagues with strategic guidance, and technical support if required, to deliver warm appeals via Direct Mail that meet six-figures campaign targets.
• Manage our Telemarketing programme, to successfully launch and deliver activities such as conversion, upgrade, reactivation, and welcome calling.
• Ensure an insight-led thanking programme is in place, with key moments identified throughout the year to acknowledge support and communicate impact.
• Work with key stakeholders across digital and offline teams to ensure we maintain a strong retention rate whilst growing our Regular Giving file.
• Remain flexible and rapidly respond to emergency situations.
• Work with our Data team to identify the best approach to data and segmentation for each project.
• Manage production processes, developing supplier briefs and managing approval stages and end of campaign reviews.
• Work with our suppliers to ensure campaign fulfilment is in place and collaborate with our Supporter Care function to monitor responses and identify issues/opportunities.
• Ensure cost effective fundraising, manage individual campaign budgets and identify opportunities to improve ROIs.
• Stay up to date with issues affecting displaced & refugee communities, campaigns from international teams and reports from the field. Scope new fundraising themes.
• Share creative and insights with UK colleagues, global markets and HQ, participating in training seminars, workshops and international skill shares where applicable.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE  

Essential Experience 

• Experience of working in a fundraising environment, ideally in a medium-to-big-size charity.
• Experience in managing onboarding and ongoing donor development activities.
• Experience of scoping, briefing in, managing, and delivering integrated fundraising campaigns that delivered against budget.
• Experience of managing Telemarketing campaigns with a tracked record of successes
• Strong experience in delivering and managing all aspects of successful Direct Mail campaigns.

About the Role 

We are seeking a strategic and community-focused programme manager to lead the delivery of the Nature Based Neighbourhoods (NBN) grant programme – a five-year partnership between Lund Trust and the Wates Family Enterprise Trust (WFET). 

The NBN programme supports urban communities to create greener, more connected neighbourhoods. It provides core funding, peer networking, and long-term planning support to community organisations working to improve access to nature. 

You will oversee all aspects of programme delivery, including grant management, stakeholder engagement, impact reporting, and communications. This is a unique opportunity to shape a long-term initiative that builds community power and drives nature-based change. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead programme planning, delivery and annual review cycles, ensuring it is delivered on time and to budget in a way that works towards its overall vision and aims.  

• Manage relationships with funded community partners ensuring they are well supported to deliver against their grant ambitions. 

• Foster cross-sector relationships in community

• Oversee grant administration and budget management 

• Work with the programme’s learning and impact partners to facilitate peer learning, evaluation and storytelling to share impact

Connection to nature can have powerful social, health, economic and environmental benefits. These benefits are not shared equally. Our most deprived communities also have the least access to nature where they live. Communities are working to tackle this problem, but their efforts are often stifled by a lack of investment.  

The NBN programme aims to strengthen community organisations, providing the financial and non-financial resources they need to create greener neighbourhoods and communities more connected to nature. 

This work will take place in a small number of places and explore how sustained commitment, engagement and investment can transform outcomes for a place, people and nature.  

Specifically, this funding partnerships will:  

• Provide direct support in the form of core funding to selected urban community organisations that share our aims.
