About the role:

As our Operational Development Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions and services that reduce alcohol-related harm. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll ensure our programmes are inclusive, impactful, and grounded in behavioural science.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the design and delivery of harm reduction interventions and prevention.
• Driving operational planning and ensuring interventions align with public health objectives.
• Embedding quality assurance, safeguarding, and compliance across all programmes.
• Collaborating with teams including Digital, Marketing, Research, and Partnerships to deliver effective services.
• Representing Drinkaware externally with stakeholders, funders, and public health bodies.

This role also includes line management of two team members and offers the opportunity to influence strategic direction while maintaining hands-on delivery.

We are seeking 2 Collection Review Managers to fully understand and catalogue the Museum Collection for the Royal Borough of Greenwich. This will include the development of a new Collections Policy, identifying key aspects of the collection that are relevant to the policy and ensuring it is fully catalogued. They will then assess the options of deaccessioning, relocations or redistributions. This is an 18-month project supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF).

They will report to a project manager and be supported by the existing team and volunteers at the Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust, who manage the Collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and implementation of a long-term Collections Strategy, in line with the objectives of the Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust and the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

• Ensure the collection is relevant, manageable and representative supporting public engagement and long-term stewardship.

• Catalogue the Collection.

• To lead and deliver a structured programme of Collections transition activities in support of museum’s redevelopment, ensuring the safe, ethical and documented movement, review and potential disposal of collection items in accordance with best practice and national standards.

• Develop, deliver and report on a comprehensive Collections transition plan, aligned to key project milestones.

• Manage resources, timelines and risks related to Collections movement, storage, and documentation.

• Maintain clear project documentation and contribute to evaluation, impact reporting, and NLHF requirements.

• To work effectively with the team at RGHT and volunteers.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Professional qualifications in Museum and Collection Management or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of UK Museum Policy, MA Code of Ethics, Spectrum Procedures and Accreditation.
• Track record of developing and implementing successful Collection Strategies.
• Previous involvement in heritage or cultural projects, preferably NLHF-funded.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of collections care, conservation and environmental planning.

Desirable:

• Experience of leading a major collections transformation project.
• Experience of diverse communities to shape collections.
• Understanding of sector-wide debates on decolonisation, repatriation and inclusive collecting.

For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.  We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035.

Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission.

To ensure that Scotty’s understands and demonstrates the impact of its work — through high-quality research, meaningful measurement, and clear reporting. You will lead the development of internal and external research projects, manage beneficiary insight gathering, and oversee the systems and frameworks we use to evaluate and share our effectiveness. 

This role is central to helping us improve what we do and explain why it matters and ensuring that lived experience remains at the heart of everything we do. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:

Impact Measurement 

• Develop and maintain frameworks to measure the outcomes of all services and programmes. 

• Ensure Success Measures (KPIs) and qualitative feedback tools are aligned to our Theory of Change. 

• Work with the Families (service delivery) team to embed consistent and meaningful data collection across all services. 

• Design simple, automated reporting processes to reduce manual admin and improve data use. 

Research & Insight 

• Lead internal research projects using beneficiary data, surveys, and feedback loops. 

• Scope and manage external research partnerships with academic institutions or sector bodies. 

• Design and deliver surveys to beneficiaries and the wider bereaved military community 

• Produce evidence to support service development, strategic decisions, influence national policy, and funding bids. 

• Lead our existing advisory group (for children and young people) and establish new groups as required (e.g. for adult services). 

• Ensure that lived experience remains at the heart of the charity’s focus on understanding of the need. 

Communication of Impact 

• Create clear, accessible insight reports and data summaries for internal and external use 

• Lead the delivery of the annual Impact Report (content, structure, coordination with teams). 

• Develop quarterly insight packs for funders and stakeholders, with engaging visuals and stories. 

• Work with the Outreach Squad to ensure impact is integrated into campaigns and storytelling. 

Learning & Collaboration 

• Act as the internal ‘voice of insight’ – bringing beneficiary perspective and data into key conversations. 

• Contribute to team training on evaluation, feedback collection, and outcomes thinking. 

• Participate in cross-functional planning, especially with the Service Delivery and Outreach Squads. 

Policy (Light Touch) 

• Track key developments in bereavement, Armed Forces, and youth policy 

• Produce brief summaries or ‘position snapshots’ where relevant to Scotty’s mission 

• Build relationships with other research and impact professionals in the sector 

The 30-day goals for this role are:

• Build a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction.
• Develop a deep understanding of our current Success Measures, Impact measurements and Theory of Change. 
• Reviewing research and data produced by the charity and related external research previously published. 
• Understand the data structure and reporting capabilities of Salesforce. 
• Understand existing commitments (e.g. funder report, impact reports etc). 
• Taken ownership of our 2026 Community-wide survey (project will be handed over upon start). 

The 60-day goals for this role are:

• Audit current data quality and gaps across the F-Team Programmes. 

• Support the publishing of the 2025 Impact Report (NB this might have be published but let’s put it in for now). 

•  Scoped and invited members to join our first adult lived experience advisory group.

• Analysed and shared results of 2026 Community-wide survey. 

• Reached out to relevant impact and research groups to introduce yourself, particularly those attached the military or bereavement charitable sectors. 

• Identified 1-2 relevant conferences or forums for Scotty’s to present at. 

The 90-day goals for this role are:

• Held at least 1 adult lived experience advisory group session. 

• Created and shared the first quarterly Impact Review for internal use.

• Fully taken accountability for impact reporting and research projects within the charity and able to demonstrate a clear plan of action for the rest of the year. 

• Proposed an outline for the Annual Family Feedback Survey in September. 

About You

Must-Have 

Proven experience in research and/or impact evaluation, ideally in the charity or public sector 

Strong skills in data collection, survey design, and analysis 

Excellent written communication and reporting skills 

Able to translate data into real-world insight 

Nice-to-Have 

Experience working with or around the Armed Forces community 

Understanding of trauma-informed or bereavement support practices 

Experience producing Impact Reports or funding insight packs

Camcycle is a bold and influential cycle advocacy charity. Our Communications Officer is responsible for delivering clear, compelling and consistent print, digital and in-person communications to support Camcycle’s campaign work and engage with our varied audiences. They will help to secure and grow our charity’s position as a knowledgeable, trusted voice on local transport, as well as amplifying the voices of local cyclists and potential cyclists across the region.

Building on Camcycle’s 30 years of campaigning expertise and community engagement, the role holder will help to build our archive of local transport knowledge and best practice, collating resources that empower community activists to successfully achieve better walking, cycling and public spaces in their neighbourhoods. They will provide an essential link between grassroots groups and transport decision-makers, helping local people make their voices heard in public meetings and consultations. They will also ensure that cycling policies and infrastructure respond to the existing needs of Cambridgeshire’s communities while being ready for a growing region and a more sustainable, equitable future.
 

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing compelling communications campaigns that inspire others and enable them to take action. 

• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders including media outlets, creative agencies and suppliers, officers, councillors, community groups and Camcycle members.

• Leading on the redevelopment of the Camcycle website and production of online content including managing our social media channels.

• Developing Camcycle’s profile through media interviews, columns and statements, and working with the team to produce our quarterly magazine.

You’ll have experience using design software such as Adobe Suite or Canva to produce content for print and digital materials, and be bursting with creative ideas about how Camcycle could grow its audience on our social media channels. • A recognised, full Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

• 5-10 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in a senior financial accounting or audit position with a demonstrable track record of success in managing complex financial operations.

• Experience working within a charity environment and strong knowledge of charity SORP. 

• Proven experience in statutory accounts production, managing audits, implementing strong internal controls, and overseeing transactional teams.

Role Purpose

The Head of Partnerships and Systemic Change will lead MCF’s efforts to build strategic partnerships, drive systemic change, and influence policy to enable Muslim-led charities to thrive in a more equitable, inclusive, and impactful civil society.

The postholder will work closely with key stakeholders, including policymakers, government departments, funders, infrastructure bodies, and sector leaders, to address structural inequalities, unlock resources, and elevate the recognition of Muslim-led charities in British society. This role will involve both coalition-building and strategic campaigning to create lasting change within the sector.

Working in collaboration with MCF’s policy, communications, advocacy, and research teams, the Head of Partnerships and Systemic Change will ensure a coordinated approach that drives long-term, sector-wide capacity improvement and sustainable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Systemic Change

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy focused on driving systemic change that enhances the impact and sustainability of Muslim-led charities.
• Identify and dismantle structural, institutional, and policy barriers that hinder the growth and success of Muslim-led organisations.
• Lead efforts to address disparities in funding, representation, and support for Muslim-led charities, advocating for more equitable resource allocation.
• Champion inclusive policies that promote equity in representation and resource distribution for Muslim-led organisations across the charity sector.

External Engagement & Partnerships

• Build and maintain impactful relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, funders, government officials, and sector leaders.
• Work with funders and mainstream sector partners to unlock resources and support for Muslim-led organisations, ensuring equitable access to funding and opportunities.
• Develop strategic alliances and coalitions with infrastructure and umbrella organisations across the charity sector to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and systemic change.
• Collaborate with civil society partners to advance inclusive policy frameworks and advocate for equitable funding practices.
• Position MCF as a key voice in coalition-building efforts and as a strategic campaigner on issues affecting the Muslim charitable sector.

Policy, Advocacy & Communications

• Collaborate closely with MCF’s policy, communications, and advocacy teams to design and implement integrated strategies for policy influence.
• Contribute to the development of evidence-based policy briefings, consultation responses, and advocacy campaigns aimed at driving systemic reform and addressing sectoral inequalities.
• Lead strategic campaigns that amplify MCF’s core messages and policy priorities to diverse audiences, including decision-makers and key influencers.
• Represent MCF at parliamentary, sectoral, and public events to advocate for policy change and elevate the profile of Muslim-led charities.

Research & Insight

• Work with MCF’s research team to generate insights and data that inform systemic change and strengthen advocacy efforts.
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for funders, policymakers, and other influential stakeholders.
• Use research to identify emerging trends and challenges within the Muslim charitable sector, developing proactive solutions to address these issues.

Collaboration & Representation

• Represent MCF externally with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to the organisation’s values of inclusion, collaboration, and faith sensitivity.
• Act as a thought leader and advocate for Muslim-led charities in both public and private sector forums, driving change through advocacy and coalition-building.

Management

· Lead designated members of the team, overseeing work and line management where appropriate.

Person Specification

Essential:

• Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in driving systemic change within the charity, public, or civil society sectors.
• In-depth understanding of the UK charity landscape, particularly the challenges faced by minority or faith-based organisations.
• Proven track record of building and nurturing strategic partnerships with policymakers, funders, and senior stakeholders.
• Expertise in policy development, advocacy, and influencing key stakeholders to achieve long-term change.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to connect research, policy, and advocacy to drive meaningful outcomes.
• A commitment to MCF’s mission, values, and principles of equity, inclusion, and collaboration.

Desirable:

• Experience in coalition-building or cross-sector partnership development.

We are looking for a dedicated Advocacy Campaigns Manager to join Action Against Hunger UK's Advocacy Department.  This is a great time to join our team as we broaden the reach of our public advocacy campaigns to a wider audience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead on developing and delivering our advocacy campaigns strategy and supporting with policy and parliamentary work. Our advocacy and campaigns focus on tackling the key drivers of hunger – conflict, climate change, poverty and inequality – and promoting improved response.

On the campaigns front, this role means spending around three days a week on designing and delivering creative and engaging online campaign actions in collaboration with skilled colleagues across teams, organizing campaign events and building the engagement of chef and food industry supporters in our advocacy. This also requires having a good understanding of the political landscape and opportunities and distilling policy asks into engaging public campaign messaging.

You will also get to spend around two days a week supporting with policy work, such as drafting position papers or letters and working closely with our Head of Advocacy and Parliamentary Relations Manager on MP engagement. In this exciting role, the successful candidate will provide the organisation with a timely, accurate and relevant financial management service by assuming day-to-day responsibility for the organisation’s accounting function, to enable the senior management team and the Board of Trustees to assess results and performance and make informed, strategic decisions, and ensure the organisation complies with statutory and corporate regulation and requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your principal duties and responsibilities will be to contribute to L&W’s research programme across a range of high-profile and time-critical projects for government, trusts and foundations and other funders. Assist the L&W research team with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. This may involve review and analysis of national and local data sources, recruitment for qualitative research, conducting depth interviews and focus groups with service users, staff and other stakeholders, and managing and analysing data.

• Carry out literature and evidence reviews, including identifying relevant research evidence, appraising the quality of evidence and writing up key findings.
• Support income generation, in collaboration with other Learning and Work staff, including contributing to the preparation of research proposals.
