The Role
You will be instrumental in securing the funding, which the organisation needs to continue to deliver and develop its services, across a wide range of functions and projects. You will be an entrepreneurial, knowledgeable fundraiser, adept at finding the right opportunities to fit the right projects. Summary of role: Our Green Doctors deliver home visits and telephone consultations across Slough, Maidenhead & Windsor & the surrounding areas. Consultations are a mix of advice, installation of small practical energy-saving measures such as low energy light bulbs and draft proofing and referring on to other health and wellbeing services. We aim to reduce our client’s energy bills and save them money in a variety of ways including providing a bill switching service.
You will be a practical, people-person with a passion for helping vulnerable people. You must have either knowledge or experience in energy efficiency to provide tailored energy saving advice, and the ability to adapt your approach to suit our client’s varying needs.
You must be comfortable with lone working and in managing your own workload.
A qualification as Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA), NVQ Level 3 (6049-03) Provide Energy Efficiency Services, or City and Guilds Energy Awareness (6281-01) is desirable, but relevant experience within the field or a willingness to take the qualification will be considered. (20 paid study hours).

We are looking for a proven copy-editor, with English as their first language. We are looking for an individual who will support the development and execution of communication activity aligned with MHFA England’s membership, media and campaign plans. The post holder will create and promote a range of content across different channels (earnt and owned) to help the team in meeting its objectives.
You will help MHFA England to deliver integrated communications and campaigns, working with the marketing and communications team and wider organisation. All activity will be delivered in line with MHFA England’s vision and mission. It will help showcase the organisation’s expertise and support it to meet revenue targets.
You may also be expected to represent the marcomms team in the delivery of organisational wide projects and initiatives.

Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including suppliers and Norwood's Technology team, to ensure the smooth integration of equipment into our digital network.

Key Responsibilities:
- To visit services and complete installations, repair, maintenance, reviews and collection of Technology Enabled Care (TEC) equipment, with new and existing service users throughout Norwood’s services in North London, Redbridge and Berkshire.
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment installations and resolve these faults both remotely and in person.
- To be responsible for stock and undertake auditing of the stock and maintain current databases according to Company requirements including updating and maintaining asset registers
- Support the IT manager in providing a high level of service coordination to ensure that new projects are delivered effectively.
- To take part in training sessions and attend meetings as required.
- To manage and maintain records, including central records, stock control and budgetary records.
- Train staff in the use of all systems available and provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of the systems in place.
- To support and promote digital inclusion, independence and empowerment for people using telecare or telehealth equipment
- Produce resources to support progress for users of AT.
