We’re looking for an ambitious fundraiser to successfully implement key objectives within our five-year fundraising strategy to enable our community projects to thrive and grow. The successful candidate will be able to work independently with a proactive attitude, as well as working collaboratively within our wider team.

This is an exciting role that would suit a fundraiser who is looking for a new challenge, someone who has a successful track record in securing grants & leading fundraising initiatives and who wants to move to the next stage of their career by leading on a multi-faceted 5-year fundraising strategy for a small but growing grass roots organisation. This involves:

• Trusts and foundations
• Monthly giving campaign
• Community fundraising events
• Major donors and corporate sponsorships

About the Role

This is a part time role, 3 days (22.5 hours) per week

It will be offered as a permanent contract with a full time equivalent annual salary of £37,000 - £40,000 (pro rata £22,200 - £24,000)

This is a hybrid role with one day per week at our office address of School 360, Sugar House Lane, Stratford, E15 2QS. The other two days can be worked from home and/or for community visits as needed across the London Borough of Newham

The Curriculum Lead will play a leading role in developing and delivering Frontline’s Approach Social Work programme, a fast-track master’s in social work and our internal Consultant Social Worker programme. ​

​This role involves leading the design and implementation of curriculum content, as well as contributing to teaching, learning, and assessment—both academic and practice-based.​

You will support the delivery of high-quality teaching materials across various formats, including online and in-person sessions. A key part of the role is developing and supporting Practice Tutors and Consultant Social Workers. This includes running curriculum briefings, contributing to training resources, and ensuring quality and consistency in the materials and guidance provided.​

Trauma Treatment International (TTI) is a registered charity in the UK. Our focus and expertise is in providing evidence-based psychological treatment and support to victims of collective violence around the world. As well as providing treatment for victims directly, we work with organisations and communities to manage, mitigate and prevent trauma.

Description

 Key Areas of  Responsibility

Clinical strategy and plans for growth

• Have responsibility for the strategic development of TTI’s clinical team, clinical delivery and clinical outcomes, to meet TTI’s ambitious and transformational Strategy 2025-2030.
• Provide clinical leadership to the development of TTI’s strategic vision and annual delivery planning, models of service delivery, standards and clinical governance.
• Support and enable partners, service users and especially those with lived experience to inform TTI’s clinical service design, delivery and evaluation and to engage in communications and research activities in a way that is psychologically safe and follows principles of trauma-informed practice.
• Manage TTI’s clinical capacity and skills, and oversee the growth and development of the team, including recruiting, supervising and managing workload/ assignment of internal staff, associates and external multi-disciplinary team to ensure the organisation’s ability to meet service demand.
• Develop and implement strategies to actively promote diversity in the clinical team and champion culturally sensitive approaches to trauma treatment through research, partnerships and new projects.
• Liaise directly and regularly with TTI’s Trustee with responsibility for clinical oversight, and provide regular reports to the Board of Trustees to support strategic decision-making and risk oversight.
• Oversee the smooth running and effectiveness of specialist clinical advisory groups (clinical advisory groups, research advisory groups and project advisory groups) for TTI that meet the strategic requirements of the organisation and build the evidence base, engage experts and build the reputation and scope of TTI’s work with professionals, networks and sectors in the UK and internationally.
• Take a lead in developing clinical research opportunities, identify opportunities to develop Quality Improvement Projects and disseminate learning internally and externally in collaboration with the communications team.
• Build relationships with Clinical Leads in organisations with shared aims, to build TTI’s relationships and opportunities for partnership and project working.
• Lead the design of internal wellbeing policies and activities and embed trauma-informed knowledge and skills across the organisation, including with clinical and non-clinical staff and trustees.

Delivery of Clinical Services

• Drive TTI’s clinical delivery, in line with TTI’s overarching strategic objectives, including setting long-term and annual objectives and KPIs, within the context of clinical evidence- based best practice, trauma informed principles, participation of those with lived experience and budgetary, donor and risk-management requirements.
• Oversee the development and implementation of TTI’s clinical treatment pathways for survivors of torture, trafficking, slavery and violent conflict or those affected by vicarious trauma or burnout through their work in human rights, including:
  • up to date and evidence based clinical pathways for the main clinical presentations we see at TTI
  • robust assessment, formulation, treatment and ending processes
  •  robust partnership agreements with organisations referring people to TTI for clinical treatment.
• Develop and refine TTI’s clinical services in response to community needs and local/global events, in line with TTI’s strategy, including for working in international communities affected by violent conflict.
• Maintain an appropriate clinical caseload.
• Deliver services to TTI’s organisational clients, (including organisational reviews, trauma training, 1:1 professional consultations, critical incident support), especially to pilot, test and quality control these aspects of TTI’s delivery.
• Support gaps in clinical team capacity as required to ensure smooth running of delivery and excellence of service to our individual and organisational clients.
• Support internal processes led by the fundraising team to design new projects and develop grant applications in order to grow the reach and impact of TTI’s work.
• Support the development of international projects and partnerships and oversee the safe delivery of international work, whether in person or online, in collaboration with the Projects and Partnerships Lead.
• Attend conferences and networks of psychologists in order to learn and embed TTI’s clinical reputation and access to learning and dissemination.

Quality Assurance and Evaluation

• Deliver an evidence-based and continuous evaluation culture and promote internal reflection and learning.
• Maintain and further develop a robust framework for quality assurance and evaluation of TTI’s clinical activities, including engagement of clients, service users and those with lived experience.
• Oversee the consistent use of evidence based clinical measures and ensure robust processes to monitor, evaluate, learn and report on the quality and impact of TTI’s clinical activities and outcomes.
• Support the transition of TTI’s clinical team and associates onto client management software,  with a focus on good data, confidentiality and consistency of adoption.
• Ensure that all systems and processes for storing, managing and reporting on clinical/client data provide robust confidentiality, security and meet TTI’s policies and legal frameworks including Data Protection Act 1998, Caldicott principles.
• Provide regular, timely and accurate data on TTI’s clinical activities and outcomes, to contribute to reports for donors, communications campaigns and annual impact reports and as required throughout the calendar year.
• Provide quarterly performance reports to the CEO and Clinical Trustee on clinical performance, based on clinical data and input from the clinical team and attend Board meetings as requested to report on clinical delivery.
• Oversee TTI’s processes for gathering and responding to feedback from clients and service users, and manage formal and informal complaints relating to the delivery of clinical delivery with the CEO.

Clinical Risk and Safeguarding

• Hold delegated authority from the Board for TTI’s clinical risk management, including engagement in TTI’s Risk-Management Sub-Committee, driving implementation of risk-management and mitigation actions relating to clinical delivery and leading TTI’s monthly internal QSP meetings.
• Feed into internal annual policy review processes, as they relate to clinical delivery, risk management and compliance with clinical duties and trauma-informed practice.
• Be the Safeguarding Lead for TTI, escalating to the Senior Safeguarding Leads as required and ensure processes are in place to meet TTI’s Safeguarding Policy and procedures within the clinical team and associates.

People Management

• Line manage and supervise senior clinical staff and provide support in their duties to manage and supervise their direct reports.
• Notice and respond appropriately to any performance management issues.
• Organise CPD opportunities for internal staff and associates. Oversee the Head of Treatment Services in delivering peer support for internal staff and associates. Update staff of any relevant changes in professional guidance.  
• Support the wellbeing of the clinical team and embed a culture of self-care, trauma-informed practice and delivery excellence.
• Take up monthly external supervision provided by TTI.
• Identify skills gaps and strategies to fill these across the clinical function, within budgetary constraints and maximising access to and sharing of internal knowledge and expertise.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of requirements, guidelines and best practice from clinical governing bodies.

General

• Provide clinical input into communications materials and content in line with TTI’s Communications Strategy as required by the communications and marketing teams.
• Compliance with organisational policies and practices, and attendance at mandatory training.
• Any other appropriate duties as required by the organisation.

Personal Specification

 Essential Criteria

• HCPC registered psychologist who has completed Post Graduate doctoral level training in counselling or clinical psychology.
• Minimum 5 years post registration experience working within mental health services.
• Managerial and leadership experience
• Clinical experience across the life span of individuals
• Up to date knowledge and experience of working with clients with PTSD, complex PTSD, survivors of human rights abuses, such as torture, and/or war related trauma and/or asylum seekers.
• Training in at least two UK NICE guidelines evidence based treatment for PTSD.
• Significant experience of psychological assessment and treatment of clients across a range of settings (could include one or more of NHS, voluntary sector, international humanitarian, community-based, inpatient, field hospital, disaster response etc).
• Experience of developing and delivering training online and in person.
• Knowledge of risk management, safeguarding
• An understanding of the complexities of experience of those surviving torture, trafficking and slavery, persecution and violent conflict
• Understanding of workforce exposure to trauma or traumatic material and experience in staff support
• Evidence of post qualification development
• Training and supervisory experience
• Project management experience
• Ability to manage, motivate, support, develop and lead an online team and promote safe remote working
• A degree of financial awareness with an appreciation of the need to balance the provision of quality care against a budget
• Knowledge of appropriate standards and external regulatory bodies, such as the Care Quality Commission.

About La Nuova Musica

La Nuova Musica is an early music ensemble led by its founder and Artistic Director, David Bates, and known for spirited performances that receive widespread acclaim from audiences and five-star reviews from the press. 

“If anyone can be relied on to make Baroque music sound newly hatched, it’s the aptly named La Nuova Musica. They dust out the tiniest corners of phrasing and embellish the music so that it sounds more dizzy with life than you’ve ever heard before”. The Times

LNM appears regularly at the Wigmore Hall, St Martin in the Fields, the London Handel Festival as well as festivals around the UK. They made their BBC Proms debut in 2022 with a performance of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas described as “a superbly evocative night” in The Times and “a musical tour de force” in Opera Today. In 2024 they appeared for the first time at the Grange Festival in a series of performances of Monteverdi’s opera, The Coronation of Poppea, hailed by Opera Today as “truly a five-star production, and easily one of the best interpretations of Monteverdi or a Baroque opera I have seen.'

LNM has also appeared in concert halls and festivals across Europe including the Handel Festival Halle, La Seine Musicale Paris, the Göttingen International Handel Festival, the Salzburg Festival, the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, and the Steffani Festival in Hanover.

Their reputation is enhanced by a series of award-winning recordings for Pentatone and Harmonia Mundi. Their latest recording of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas was selected as one of two opera recordings for the prestigious Abbiata award in Italy, alongside a recording of Katya Kabanova conducted by Simon Rattle with the LSO.  It was one of Gramophone’s recordings of the year and BBC R3’s CD Review chose it as their Recording of the Week. “the way it zings off the page bristling with dramatic life and energy from the first bars, and with a range of voices and imaginative instrumental accompaniment, fills it with incident and colour”.BBC Radio 3.

An earlier release, Handel’s Unsung Heroes, was selected by BBC Music Magazine as their Recording of the Month and awarded 5 stars as “a stunning collection of Handel opera numbers. For originality, risk-taking and erudition, it towers above its predecessors. The project is a heroic achievement for all involved.” 

La Nuova Musica’s strategic goals

We are bursting with ideas and feel we have so much more that we want to achieve. We perform regularly at the Wigmore Hall in London and are in the process of establishing a presence in Salisbury (David Bates’ hometown) and in Oxford, where we are working with an excellent chamber choir of young amateur singers, Schola Cantorum.  By giving the same concert in all these cities, we make best use of our artistic and financial resources at the same time as broadening our reach.

We also aim to deliver new strands of activity. One is relaxed concerts for anyone who needs an informal setting to enjoy our performances. The other offers high quality professional experience to singers and players from the modern instrument world in understanding baroque and early classical music. This is important for several reasons, not least to build and strengthen the UK pool of musicians for the future to preserve this repertoire. 

 

We receive no public funding and are only able to continue thanks to the support of generous individuals who love what we do and want us to do more. As is the case in our sector, ticket sales do not cover the cost of performances. We also need to pay our administrative team for any activity to take place at all. We currently operate thanks to a small but highly experienced and committed team who work remotely, at significantly reduced rates, because of their belief in David Bates and La Nuova Musica. To achieve our vision, we need to secure ongoing funding for core running costs (approximately £120k per year) as well as additional funding for specific artistic projects and other activity (approximately £120k per year, though this will vary from year to year).

Thanks to the fantastic support of generous individuals, LNM can engage with some ambitious projects such as Handel’s Giustino, our first co-production with the Royal Ballet and Opera which takes place in October 2025. We have successfully raised the money required for this and can now put in place some important and ambitious projects for the next three years. 

These include:

·Promoting two concerts each year in St Martin in the Fields, which entails risk on a larger scale than the Wigmore Hall where we are engaged (paid) to perform. (£15k p.a.)

·Developing further our work in Salisbury with two annual concerts which feed off our regular series in the Wigmore Hall and St Martin in the Fields. (£12k p.a.)

·Developing our relationships in Oxford along the lines of Salisbury (see above) (12k p.a.) 

·Developing a relaxed concert strand where performances are specially prepared and delivered to suit anyone who needs an informal setting to enjoy our performances.  (10k per run of events)

·Grow existing strands of work which provide experience for amateur singers, young professional singers and players in informed baroque and early classical performances. (15k per run of events)

·Recording some of our best work to act as a calling card with promoters and the public. (£40- 50k per recording)

·Build on our existing work to make and keep early music relevant, thus protecting its cultural heritage, by commissioning new work for the ensemble which combines the sounds and techniques of early music with that of living composers. (£15-20k per commission)

About the Role
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Lead delivery of key Local Offer programmes, such as our successful Peer Review and Peer Network Programme, which are designed to support Local Authorities and organisations in meeting the needs of young people and in the case of Local Authorities meet their Statutory Duty (section 507B).
• Manage the delivery of traded services relating to Quality Standards and Organisational Development.
• Manage and regularly update both existing and new online resources related to Quality Standards, ensuring consistency and standardisation across all materials.
• Collaborate with the National Curriculum and Learning Manager to influence the youth work curriculum and share learning and insight from programmes
• Work collaboratively with the Youth Investment Fund Programme Manager to inform and develop Quality Standards.
• Work with Local Policy & Partnerships Manager and the NYA Knowledge Team to develop sector insights and to share learning and knowledge across NYA teams and the youth work sector.
• Collaborate with Local Authorities and partner organisations to promote awareness and encourage participation in NYA programmes and Quality Standards.

Our ideal Local Quality Improvement Manager should have the following:

• Extensive experience working directly with young people across diverse settings, demonstrating a deep understanding of youth development and engagement.

About the role:

ReachOut is a national youth development charity and a strategic partner for schools. Through collective mentoring and engaging activities, we build socio-emotional skills that transform outcomes for young people constrained by circumstance.

Our Youth Development Leads are the heart of our programme delivery and facilitate high quality & impactful sessions for our young people. Reporting to the Programmes & Impact Manager, you’ll work with autonomy to manage your school partners, develop your team of volunteer mentors and collaborate across our ambitious delivery team with a focus on evidence based continuous improvement.

This role brings together the best of our previous Project Officer & Project Leader roles shifting responsibility for delivery into our full-time staff team. This is an investment in building the quality and impact of our programmes and we’re hiring for multiple positions to complete our team of Youth Development Leads.  

We’re looking to fill four positions in total – two full time roles in London and as well as one part time role in London and one part time role in Manchester.

Contract: Permanent – (probationary period of 6 months)

Location: London or Manchester. Hybrid working with project delivery in and around region

Salary: £25,000 – £27,500 pro rata

Hours and Annual Leave: 

1. Full time:

   • 2 positions in London

   • 37.5 hours a week with a mixed working pattern: School term time: approximately 3 days 9:00-17:30 and 2 days 11:00-19:30, and School holidays: 9:00-17:30​

   • 29 days per year annual leave - maximum of 5 days to be taken in school term time

2. Part-time (0.8)

   • 2 positions available: 1 position in London and 1 position in Manchester (potential for Manchester position to be full time)

   • 30 hours a week Tuesday - Friday with a mixed working pattern: School term time: approximately 2 days 9:00-17:30 and 2 days 11:00-19:30, and School holidays: 9:00-17:30

   • 23 days per year annual leave - maximum of 4 days to be taken in school term time

At Grace House, SHP’s specialist 11-bed hostel for women in Camden, you’ll step into a leadership role that offers real purpose and the chance to drive meaningful, lasting change. As Service Manager, you’ll be at the helm of a pioneering service that supports women experiencing multiple disadvantage; homelessness, domestic abuse, substance use, poor mental health and the ongoing impact of trauma and exploitation. About you:

• Leadership that inspires confidence, compassion, and accountability.
• A proven track record of working within a trauma-informed, PIE service — ideally with women or multiple disadvantage groups.
• Experience of leading and developing a team with a focus on quality, outcomes, and values-led delivery.
• A deep understanding of the challenges faced by women experiencing homelessness, and a commitment to feminist and anti-oppressive practice.
• Strong partnership skills and the ability to advocate for clients within complex systems.
