About the role

We are looking for an IT and Data Officer to join our central team, working in collaboration with our services which are our Independent Approved Premises (IAP). You will maintain and support our data systems and IT infrastructure across our services, responsible for managing CRM systems and supporting with first line IT queries which could include ticketing requests, troubleshooting, technical issues, and liaising with internal and external partners to ensure consistent and timely data reporting.

You will work across multiple projects to ensure performance metrics are accurately tracked and communicated, proactively identifying and addressing any data or system related issues. You will support with continuous improvement for the service and wider organisation.

You will be confident in using various tools and software with transferrable skills. • Skills in data input, extraction, and reporting

About the Service

The team delivers one to one support in the form of weekly keywork sessions working within a psychologically informed framework to create support plans with residents and build on skills and competencies. We use a strengths-based approach in the hope that service users can move on into the community or a lower needs service to live a better quality of life whatever that may look like for the individual.

About Quest for Learning
Quest for Learning is an education charity on a mission to close the gap for primary school children in Oxfordshire who are falling behind - often due to complex and compounding disadvantage. Many of the children we support are growing up in poverty, with limited access to books, low parental literacy, and challenging home environments. Some face health inequalities, live in areas affected by crime, or have recently arrived in the UK as refugees or asylum seekers.

We work closely with schools to provide targeted, high-impact literacy and numeracy programmes that give these children the chance to catch up, thrive, and believe in their potential. On average, our small-group tutoring helps pupils make 13 months of progress in just 10 hours - building not only essential skills, but also confidence, motivation, and a renewed sense of possibility.

Role Purpose

This is a hands-on and outward-facing role for a confident, capable fundraiser ready to lead Quest for Learning’s income generation efforts. As our sole dedicated fundraiser, you’ll take ownership of securing income across a broad mix of streams - including trusts and foundations, community fundraising, individual giving, and corporate partnerships.

You’ll be out and about representing the charity, building relationships with local businesses, community groups, and supporters, and bringing our mission to life with energy and clarity. You'll need to be a proactive self-starter who enjoys meeting people, thrives in a varied role, and is motivated by delivering results that improve life chances for disadvantaged children.

This is a busy and varied role which often involves working on multiple fundraising activities at once. A typical day could include working on an application to a new funder, designing a supporter newsletter, gathering information for an end of grant report, and researching new prospects.

This role would suit someone with experience of securing funding, managing funder relationships, and developing new opportunities - all with a focus on practical delivery. You’ll work closely with the CEO, leadership and programme teams, and our board of trustees to help grow a diverse and sustainable income base.

Trusts and foundations

• Research and identify prospective funders, building a robust pipeline

What You'll Be Doing

You will be joining our Asset Management Team, a friendly group of 16 people, who provide a high-quality service to our Housing Support colleagues and our Clients by repairing, maintaining and investing in our properties.

A little more about your day as a Fire Safety Project Manager:

• To be the main point of contact to address any issues around fire safety in our properties which needs further on-site investigation around repairs, maintenance, or any other property related matters.
• Programme and manage the delivery of Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Strategies for our property portfolio.
• Investigate any Health and Safety issues under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.
• Assist the Contracts and Compliance Manager to ensure we remain compliant at all times.
• Compile specifications for all passive and active fire safety works, procure, and ensure works are delivered to the required standard and within the specified timescales, inspect work during and at completion, and arranging payment for work.
• Request or raise orders for works to external contractors or In House Repairs Team, and ensure work is completed to the required standard and within the specified timescales.
• Have regular contact and meetings with Transform’s Inhouse Repairs Team, external contractors, and Consultants to monitor quality and delivery of work, along with performance.
• Have an overview, monitor expenditure against budget, and have input in identifying future repair needs or programmes of work.
• Use appropriate equipment provided to carry out inspections and take photographic evidence as required.
• Provide guidance and advice to residents, staff, contractors, and external stakeholders regarding the outcome of any inspection or work carried out, and if applicable what further action is needed.
• Attend meetings and compile reports as required on any matter following an inspection, which may include any incident, complaint, or disrepair.
• Use IT systems to locate property information, raise repair orders, monitor works, record completions, and obtain reports as required.
• Follow policies and procedures, and where appropriate recommend any changes to improve the way inspections are conducted and what information is collated.
• Keep up to date with current legislation, guidance and good practice within the sector and Property maintenance and management.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience delivering FRA programmes or similar fire safety compliance projects.
• Strong understanding of fire safety legislation, standards, and regulations.
• Experience managing contractors and consultants to deliver compliance works.
• Considerable knowledge of fire doors, passive fire protection and remedial fire safety measures such as detection and alarms.
• Demonstrable project management and contract management experience.
• Strong IT skills and ability to manage compliance databases.
• A driving license and access to a car.
• Minimum of HNC/HND in a related discipline required to carry out this role, or equivalent.
• Relevant qualification in fire safety, surveying, construction, or property management.
• Recognised FRA qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessor certification).

About the Service

Our Nightlight Service is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways.

We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our helpline, crisis centres, crisis cafes and a weekend Crisis House. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary. As a member of our team you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach as to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect.

The objectives of Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Services are:

About the Role

Mental Healthcare Support Workers are key members of staff delivering the Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Service, taking part in a rota covering 7 days per week, ensuring the delivery of quality crisis support services and instilling Hertfordshire Mind Network’s values throughout the crisis cafe and helpline provision. Working closely with other staff (bank staff, volunteers), coordinators, team leaders and Crisis manager to ensure services are of the highest quality and support the continued growth and development of the service.

By honouring the individual experience of each service user, we are able to respect their autonomy as well as encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery.

The Role 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Onboarding Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in welcoming and guiding new groups to join the FareShare Go programme. This role will be  the main point of contact for new charities during their first 6 weeks, ensuring they are set up for success through account setup, food safety compliance, scheduling logistics, and ongoing support.  As an Onboarding Co-ordinator, you will be allocated to manage the onboarding needs across a specific geographical area; you will need to grow your awareness and understanding of this area quickly; whilst also adapting to local contexts and operational variations. 

Main areas of responsibility 

• Relationship Building: Serve as the first point of contact for new groups, fostering trust and ensuring a positive onboarding experience that reflects the unique needs of their area. 

• Account Setup: Assist groups with setting up their collection accounts, ensuring all necessary information is completed and systems are accessible. 

• System training: Assist groups in understanding the various donation platforms available to them to ensure successful collections 

• Food Safety Checks: Guide groups through initial food safety requirements, checklists, and verifications to ensure compliance before their first collection. 

• Scheduling Collections: Coordinate and confirm collection schedules, including pickup days, times, and logistics tailored to the group’s capacity and location. 

• Ongoing Support: Maintain regular communication with each group during their start with the programme, offering support, troubleshooting, and feedback collection. 

• Documentation & Reporting: Track onboarding progress, maintain accurate records, and report milestones or concerns to the Onboarding Manager. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a coordinated and seamless experience for new groups. 

• Regional Onboarding Oversight: Manage the onboarding of new groups across a defined geographical area or multiple regions, adjusting processes to suit local requirements and regional operational nuances. 

   

Essential Criteria 

• Indepth understanding of the FareShare Go programme and working closely with charities to deliver a service that meets their needs.

• Sound understanding of the FareShare Go onboarding requirements for charities, whilst also understanding  regional distinctions and complex  schedules 

• Experience in following FareShare Go’s escalation procedures and communicating with external stakeholders 

• Experience in customer service, specifically with issue resolution around store performance with charity donations. 

• Experience ensuring organization compliance with FareShare Go policies and procedures 

• Familiarity with food safety protocols and being confident in explaining key requirements to charities

• Experience understanding and managing multiple donation platforms simultaneously 

• Strong organisational skills with experience managing workflows across multiple locations, comfortable managing multiple onboarding processes simultaneously 

• Demonstrable use of competency with salesforce reporting, informing analysis and workstream prioritisation 

Desirable Criteria  

• Experience working in food redistribution, logistics, or non-profit programme delivery

Home-Start Portsmouth (HSP) supports parents from pregnancy onwards, recognising the vital role they play in their children's lives. We aim to build a compassionate community that surrounds families, parents, and children with care - because childhood can’t wait. Our expert staff and trained volunteers provide child-focused family support to help Portsmouth families thrive. 

Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) are a UK-wide charity offering impartial information and specialist support to parents undergoing antenatal testing. ARC also partners with healthcare professionals to promote high-quality, equitable care. 

We are recruiting an ARC Project Coordinator, who will lead a project aimed at improving pregnancy aspirations and readiness in communities, particularly those less likely to engage with maternity services. The project will focus on healthy conversations, accessible and accurate information, and equitable access to interventions, helping reduce inequalities and support informed pregnancy choices. 

The coordinator will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising a small team of volunteers who will help deliver some parts of the project. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities  

1. Project Delivery: 

• Lead, manage, and ensure the high-quality delivery of the ARC Project 

• Facilitate informed decision-making in pregnancy by working in partnership with ARC, our funder 

• Engage with parents less likely to access antenatal screening, offering information and support to help them understand and access available options 

• Provide education and signposting to both parents and health professionals about available support 

• Deliver person-centred relational support using evidence-based interventions and approaches 

• Normalise conversations about antenatal screening through a variety of services, including; clinics, participation in HSP’s prenatal offer, community groups, and partnerships with health services and the wider workforce 

1. Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key individuals within HIOW Healthcare NHS Trust and Portsmouth City Council 

• To work as part of an integrated approach across the Family Hub Programme delivery, including maternity services

Salary: £31,000 - £33,195 dependent on experience (generous 10% employer's pension contribution rising to 15%  after five years)
