PLANED is a long-established community development charity that now works across Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. A defining feature of PLANED is our asset-based approach. We own and manage a growing portfolio of buildings and assets, including our home site, the Old School in Pembrokeshire, which combines our office and conferencing space, with an additional range of tenanted spaces for local businesses.
We also lead the management of the Carmarthenshire Living Well Centre, a multi-use community facility hosting health, well-being, advice and support services. The Living Well Centre brings together a wide range of charities and statutory partners under one roof, creating a genuinely collaborative, free-to-access, local hub supporting 700 clients per month, which is increasingly seen as a model of best practice.
Most of PLANED’s work is delivered through multiple live projects funded by a mix of Welsh Government, NHS, National Lottery, National Grid, BT and other sources. We have a healthy financial position, but much of this funding is short to medium term, requiring continuous bid writing, relationship management and adaptation. The CEO role is therefore both externally facing and highly hands-on.
About the role
We are seeking a CEO to lead our next exciting chapter. This will include developing a new and updated organisational strategy, continuing to secure sustainable funding, overseeing project delivery and ensuring the organisation remains financially resilient while continuing to grow its impact and influence.
The organisation has a strong, inclusive and supportive culture that is bilingual. The team is community-rooted, collaborative and delivery-focused, with a clear ethos of shared responsibility and mutual support. We have a team of around 18 people, the majority of whom are project funded, supported by a small core team, including the CEO.
The role requires on-site presence; given our reach across West Wales, there is also regular travel required.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who will be comfortable in a village hall as they are in a meeting with national and local politicians, senior civil servants, charity or business leaders. You will be confident working across rural and coastal communities, and able to build trust quickly and authentically.
Our CEO leads a significant part of our fundraising activities, and experience in securing income and developing sustainable funding models will be important.

To work on the Warm and Safe Wiltshire project to help Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) support the long-term wellbeing of disadvantaged households across Wiltshire, particularly individuals living in fuel poverty, those with health conditions, and communities that are otherwise hard to reach, including Armed Forces and veteran communities. The Senior Supporter Engagement Manager will lead the strategic development of personalised, data‑driven supporter experiences that deepen engagement and maximise long‑term value. This role oversees the design and optimisation of multi‑channel supporter journeys, with a key focus on the creation and delivery of the email, SMS and What’s App communications, as well as our loyalty‑focused communications such as Cure Magazine, supporter newsletters and seasonal loyalty comm such as Christmas Cards. Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Journey Development & Design
· Lead the end‑to‑end design of supporter journeys working collaboratively across all the organisation, taking an audience led approach in achieving our income, engagement and influence objectives, joining the dots and identifying opportunities for cross sell, upsell and integration of offers throughout a supporter's relationship with us.
· Oversea the mapping and optimisation of lifecycle journeys, ensuring they are insight‑driven, segmented, and aligned with organisational goals towards a cure.
Responsible for ensuring your teams are expert in our martech, and use testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate), data and performance insights to optimise journeys performance.
· Lead for automation of journeys within our martech, balancing efficiencies on resource with excellent supporter experiences.
· Lead for data, compliance and technical troubleshooting.
Data Selections & Audience Targeting
· Responsible for making audience targeting decisions ensuring accurate, timely, and insight‑led targeting for all fundraising and engagement activity.
· Working collaboratively with the BI team to ensure the development and application of data modelling and propensity models to predict supporter behaviour models that support tailored communications and efficient campaign delivery.
· Work closely with Data and Analytics teams to maintain data quality and optimise selection processes, and work with insight and BI to translate performance outputs into actionable recommendations for optimising our supporter journey performance.
· Ensure robust documentation, governance, and continuous improvement of data targeting and selection workflows

Supporter Loyalty & Stewardship Communications
· Lead the creation of loyalty‑focused communications that build long‑term relationships and increase lifetime value and deliver on our supporter experience principles – including communications such as Cure Magazine and E-newsletter.
· Work collaborative with Senior Supporter Relations Manager to develop stewardship frameworks that recognise and thank supporters at key moments – including the coordination of an ARUK approach supporter Christmas and Seasonal greetings.
· Ensure collaboration within these organisational supporter loyalty communications is effective leading for RACI and levels of approval.
· Lead for your team adhering to GDPR-aligned audience management and safe data activation.
Leadership & Collaboration
· Manage and develop a multi‑disciplinary team across your key responsibilities, fostering a culture of audience led, testing, continuous improvement and joined up thinking, planning and delivery.
· Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across fundraising, digital, brand, data, insight, info services, policy and campaigning, and research teams to ensure alignment and shared priorities.

The National Lottery Community Fund (The Fund) wishes to recruit an external member for the Climate Action Fund Decision Panel. The Chair of the UK Funding Committee (UKFC) accordingly invites applications for the position of external member of The National Lottery Community Fund’s Climate Action Fund Decision Panel.
Background
The Fund is the largest funder of community activity in the UK. It launched the Climate Action Fund in 2019 as a long-term commitment to support communities across the UK to act on climate change and involve more people in positive environmental action. Since its launch the Climate Action Fund has awarded over £182m to communities across the UK. This includes over 175 larger projects, predominantly delivered through partnership approaches and over 440 small grants that were delivered through Together for Our Planet, a funding programme in support of COP26. The programme has always had a test and learn ethos and each strand of funding has built on learning to date.
In January 2026 the Climate Action Fund launched a new strand of funding - Food Systems, focusing on strengthening food systems across the UK, while reducing food insecurity for people and communities, without harming the planet. It will achieve this through supporting partnerships that can deliver long term solutions and transformational systems change. Funding will enable large and long term interventions with the capacity and time to deliver progress against their intended aims and ambitions. We will support agroecological approaches which work with nature to create resilient, sustainable and equitable food systems. Projects can apply for a minimum of £2.5 million over three years, and we expect to fund up to ten projects in the first year. Through the Climate Action Fund we support projects based in all four countries of the UK and a combination of place based, cross country, regional, national and UK wide.

Anne Frank Trust UK is an anti-prejudice education charity founded in 1991 and the UK partner of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. Using Anne Frank's life story and the historical context of the Holocaust, the Trust empowers young people aged 9-15 to recognise and challenge ALL forms of prejudice and discrimination.
Their work reaches young people through in-school workshops, online learning events, and an Ambassadors Programme supporting young people with lived experience of prejudice.
This role is a front-line education post, delivering engaging workshops in schools across Cumbria, mentoring young people as peer educators and ambassadors, and building strong relationships with schools and local partners. Education Delivery Specialists play a vital role in helping young people develop confidence, empathy and the skills to challenge prejudice in their communities.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join our Development Team at an exciting point in the Library’s growth.
The Library has recently eliminated its operating deficit and is now midway through an ambitious £8m capital campaign to transform its historic building and expand its reach. Alongside this, we continue to grow philanthropic income through regular giving, legacies and annual appeals.
Working closely with the Director of Development, you will deliver a major donor strategy, building a pipeline of supporters and securing significant gifts to support both capital and revenue priorities.
This is an excellent opportunity to shape and grow a major giving function, with potential to expand the programme as it develops.
Key responsibilities:
· Develop and implement a major gifts strategy aligned with organisational priorities
· Identify, cultivate and steward high-value donors and prospects
· Secure major gifts in support of capital and revenue fundraising
· Build a strong prospect pipeline using a new CRM system
· Work collaboratively with senior leadership, trustees and colleagues to maximise fundraising opportunities
About you
· Proven track record of securing major gifts (five- and six-figure donations)
· Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
· Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver income targets
· Experience of working in a charity, arts, heritage or cultural organisation (desirable)

The Role
