In this role, you will build and manage a portfolio of mid-to-high net worth UK donors (typically giving between £1,000 and £10,000), cultivating deep relationships and delivering income growth. St Bride Foundation (SBF) is seeking a Collections and Archives Manager with strong project management and collections management skills to support the development, preservation, and accessibility of our library and archive collections. Alongside this our preferred candidate will have excellent people management and engagement skills.

The Collections and Archives Manager will manage the smooth running of the Reading Room, library enquiry services and manage our library volunteers.

The Collections and Archives Manager will work closely with the Foundation Librarian to oversee library and archival operations, and develop policies to improve storage, accessibility, and preservation.

Key Responsibilities

Access, Research & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support public and internal access to collection materials by providing research services and developing user-friendly finding aids.

We are looking for an experienced panel member who have experience of being looked after in a foster family or residential care, or a registered social worker.

The successful applicants must be IT literate, as documentation is shared at online meetings on a monthly basis. The Panel meets using Microsoft Teams on the second Tuesday of each month, but occasionally additional meetings may also be scheduled, depending on business needs.

The successful candidate may need to travel to attend an annual panel business day in person and other occasional meetings and training. 

In line with our values, we expect fostering panel members to ensure that all decisions are made with regard to the interest of 'children in care', foster carers, and the community in which they live.
