Job description

Full and Part-Time roles available

One of the UK’s most inspiring and best known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is looking for meticulous Administrative Assistants to undertake a range of administrative tasks and activities within the Adult Victims of Modern Slavery Care and Coordination Services Contract Management Team.

As Administrative Assistant you will be required to provide high quality, responsive administrative support to the Contract Management Team by:

  • Undertaking Stage 1 Quality Assurance checks on client documents and case files
  • Referring all files that fail to meet Stage 1 Quality Assurance standard for a Stage 2 Quality Exception check
  • Inputting data onto a case Management System or Excel spreadsheet
  • Completing a range of basic tasks on the Case Management System to assist with the processing and monitoring of case work activities

To join us as Administrative Assistant you will have:

  • Experience of data entry work and of providing administrative support within a team environment
  • Effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel software
  • Effective oral and written communication and numeracy skills at GCSE level or equivalent
  • An eye for detail
  • The ability to handle confidential information appropriately in line with TSA policies, contractual obligations and statutory requirements.

Applicants with Social Work or similar experience or training would be particularly welcome.

*We have opportunities to work either full time or part-time, you can choose from the following:

Full-time – up to 35 hours a week, Monday to Sunday, 4.15pm to 8.15pm and 8am-4pm weekends

Part-time: Monday to Friday, 4.15pm to 8.15pm, minimum of three 4 hour shifts.

Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 4pm, minimum of two 4 hour shifts or one 8 hour shift.

Benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays; a contributory pension scheme; season ticket loan and an employee assistance programme.
