We are working in partnership with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the Bromley Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub (BMHWH), as part of the ongoing transformation of mental health services in the London Borough of Bromley under the NHS Long Term Plan. The service integrates the expertise of local primary, secondary, and voluntary sector providers to offer flexible, holistic and person-centred support for adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Advisor to join the BMHWH team. Working within the Information, Advice and Guidance and Tailored Wellbeing pathways, this role offers the chance to make a direct impact on individuals’ recovery journeys by providing timely, personalised support.

You will manage a caseload, delivering one-to-one and group-based interventions, offering information, advice, guidance and signposting, and co-producing support plans tailored to individuals' goals and needs. You will undertake holistic assessments, and work closely with clinical colleagues at Oxleas to ensure a joined-up approach between clinical and non-clinical support. Your ability to build strong relationships and maintain accurate case records will be vital to support quality assurance, risk management and positive outcomes for clients.

The role requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, a commitment to recovery-focused practice, and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You will have experience supporting people with mental health challenges, including those with complex or heightened needs, and a strong understanding of local services in Bromley. A good working knowledge of safeguarding procedures and outcome-focused practice is essential.

The Role 

The purpose of the Finance and Business Manager is to provide the necessary professional expertise to enable the Charity to successfully execute its strategy and achieve its objectives on time and within budget, while exceeding stakeholder expectations.  

The role will be responsible for:  

• Ensuring sound financial and governance procedures and control.
• Overseeing the management of the charity’s internal business operations, including payroll, HR and premises.

We are recruiting Employment Advisors to join our IPS service, you will be based in Newham, working 35 hours per week. Working Well Trust's services have previously been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment. 

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. The Area Service Manager will be an experienced manager with a proven track record in leading substance misuse, recovery, and/or housing services. As part of the Joint Leadership Team (JLT), you will oversee, develop and lead staff and services across your area.

You will manage contracts with Change Grow Live and other local partners, develop coaching models, and deliver behaviour change and psychosocial programmes. You will plan, deliver, and monitor services for individuals who are socially marginalised but are on a path of recovery and rehabilitation.

About you

For this role, you will have demonstrable experience of managing adult social care services within the third or public sector. You may also have:

Building Recovery in Community Coordinator

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Recovery coordinator (HMYOI Deerbolt being the community) to support Waythrough’s service delivery within Reconnected to Health in HMYOI Deerbolt.As a Building Recovery coordinator, you will provide 1:1 support for service users, who have completed most of their recovery journey with a Recovery Coordinator and are now in sustained recovery. You will take a “whole person” holistic approach to ensure that every service user’s package of care encompasses all areas of their wellbeing, to achieve the best possible outcomes for every person. 
As a Building Recovery coordinator, you will also recruit train and supervise peer mentors who will support the service alongside yourself with group delivery, mutual aid, focus groups and any project work.

• Manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing and reviewing on-going recovery plans and treatment, liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the service team, including family members and significant others as appropriate.
• Carry out focus groups and promote equality diversity and inclusion through project work and promotion of the service
• Recruit, train and supervise peer mentors who are an integral part of our service delivery and lived experience
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions to promote individual service user progression from engagement, through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery.
• Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources to increase recovery and social capital, supporting service users and their families within their local community To lead effective case management for allocated service users, including on-going processes such as risk assessments, risk management plans and safeguarding assessments and plans. A core part of the role will be working with people to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s substance use and wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to physical and emotional health, meaningful use of time, family and relationships, community engagement and activities, accommodation, physical and emotional health, offending as well as substance use (drug use and / or alcohol use).

Skills and Qualifications

An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).  Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings is essential. You’ll also need a flexible approach, excellent record keeping and report writing skills and a willingness to work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings, on an outreach basis, with a central hub base at our head office.

Join the innovative Bolton Listening Lounge, providing adults in Bolton with mental health and wellbeing support. About the Project

Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver support in the Mental Health Urgent Care Centre (MHUCC) at Lister Hospital.

The MHUCC provides a dedicated space and service for rapid mental health assessment, intervention, and referral, thereby enhancing the quality of care and optimising use of systemwide resources. It provides 24-hour access to specialist mental health assessment aimed at supporting service users to access the least restrictive care and treatment options. It creates a systemwide response to acute mental health crisis that enables people’s needs to be met with the right care at the right time.

About the Role:

The Support, Time and Recovery (STAR) Worker will be based at the Mental Health Urgent Care Centre at Lister Hospital, promoting joint working and creating a seamless pathway into community support for clients recovering from mental ill health.

The STAR workers will work closely with individuals in a mental health crisis currently in the MHUCC, by using a person-centred approach to ensure that everyone is supported with dignity and respect.

You will have a key role with safe and supportive observations and attending to the service users on the unit. You will provide support for carers and liaise with the wider services to support smooth and timely discharge of service users back to the community.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide a consistent presence in the MHUCC for individuals with mental health needs to access for support.
• To advocate for service users, explaining organisations and pathways.
• To provide immediate information and advice about managing wellbeing, reducing risk and onward signposting and referral into wider HMN services and VCFSE organisations.
• To facilitate a clear and easily accessible pathway into the wider Nightlight Crisis Alternative services for individuals, to support timely MHUCC discharge, as an alternative to statutory crisis intervention, or as a supplement to wider care and treatment plans.
• To gather feedback and evaluation on patient experience in the MHUCC
• To develop sound and extensive knowledge of local resources to support in enabling appropriate referrals where necessary.
• To link in with wider Herts Mind Network services and facilitate referrals
• To ensure that a collaborative approach is used, with effective communication links developed with external professional NHS services and to work as an effective member of any multi-disciplinary team. This will require stringent relationships.
• To support individuals to develop sustainable local social networks, both through our HMN Wellbeing Centres and other community services and resources.

We are looking for someone who is ready to use their experience to support and inspire service users in their recovery journey. Peer Mentors will support service users on their emotional journey, and form therapeutic alliances to share ways of coping, understanding and nurturing hope and inspirations. 

You will need to have excellent communication skills, with a good understanding of the individual recovery journey and the issues facing people suffering with mental health difficulties. We need a Peer Mentor who is able to share the values of our organisation and is passionate about our vision of “Better Mental Health for All” in Birmingham. 

You will be joining a brand-new team for our newly commissioned service Recovery House. This is an exiting and innovative service for Birmingham Mind and is an opportunity to create a flagship standard of support and care for those in mental health crisis. The service will supply short stay accommodation for people in crisis, for a maximum of 7 nights. Recovery House is a CQC Registered service commissioned by the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust and peer mentors will be part of a multi-disciplinary team made up of Birmingham Mind and NHS Staff.

Strategic and Operational Leadership 

• Set a positive leadership culture aligned with SCT’s ethos, values and mission. 

• Lead the development and implementation of annual operating plans across services, in line with SCT’s strategic goals and budgets.

Service Development 

• Oversee and support the development of SCT’s front-line services including Addictions Counselling, Supported Housing, Housing First, and Training & Development (incorporating ‘Progressions’ and ‘Choices’). 

• Maintain high service quality, measurable outcomes, and trauma-informed, recovery-focused practice. 

• Develop referral pathways into services, and ensure that client progression is planned, consistent, and reflective of individual needs and ambitions. 

• Lead best practice approaches in Safeguarding and Health and Safety, prioritising client and staff wellbeing. 
• Take the lead in shaping and developing co-production across all services, ensuring that people with lived experience are meaningfully involved in the design, delivery, and evaluation of support.

Housing and Recovery Support 

• Ensure accommodation-based services provide secure, therapeutic environments that support clients to maintain their tenancy and build recovery capital. 

• Oversee SCT’s peer-led recovery community (‘Choices’) and user involvement in our social enterprises, creating training and work experience pathways for people in recovery. 

Staff Leadership and Management 

• Provide strategic leadership for a multi-disciplinary service delivery team. 

• Oversee recruitment, supervision, appraisal and development of staff, ensuring they are fully supported, briefed, and empowered. 

• Promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration and high performance. 

• Set clear expectations, targets, and accountability frameworks to deliver impact. 

Person Specification 

Essential Skills and Experience 

• Proven success in managing and developing high-performing, multidisciplinary teams in complex, person-centred services. 

• Significant experience delivering homelessness, housing, addiction recovery or therapeutic services. 

• Expertise in delivering services that work with people with lived experience of social exclusion. 

• Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and trauma-informed practice. 

• Skilled in managing budgets, contracts and KPIs within charitable or commissioned services. 

• Skilled in using In-Form or similar CRM system.

• Highly effective communicator with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. 

Desirable 

• Experience working in a values-led organisation or charity supporting marginalised groups. 

• Knowledge of Housing First and Recovery Capital models. 

• Understanding of social enterprise and peer-led service models. 

To provide strategic and operational leadership to multidisciplinary service delivery teams, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and outcome-focused support for people in recovery or experiencing homelessness. The role is central to enhancing service standards, fostering a culture of inclusivity and compassion, and embedding lived experience in practice. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Services will help shape SCT’s strategy and build sustainable partnerships to maximise impact and long-term success.

The Programme Manager at Western Forest will oversee the delivery of multiple projects within the woodland creation and restoration programme, working closely with Project Managers/leads and the Woodland and Nature Recovery Manager. This role will ensure that all programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with the funding requirements and objectives. The Programme Manager will be responsible for monitoring progress, managing reporting to key stakeholders such as Defra and National Forest Company (NFC), and ensuring the quality of the projects. Additionally, the role will involve overseeing GIS/data management, coordinating the efforts of multidisciplinary teams, and serving as the primary contact for Defra and other funding bodies.
