Young People’s Senior Peer Research Coordinator - Haringey
Are you passionate about working with young people? Do you have experience of project management, involvement and research methods and helping others to do research?
If yes, we have the ideal job for you. We are working in partnership with the Peace Alliance in Haringey as part of the Peer Action Collective to develop solutions with young people to address youth violence. The work is funded by the Youth Endowment Fund.
Working with young people aged 10-20, as well as local secondary schools and colleges, the project will carry out peer research and develop social action projects.
The person in this role will be excellent at co-ordinating multiple projects and groups, with strong project management skills and will be a core part of our delivery team. You will also get the opportunity to work on other young people’s involvement projects at McPin.
The post is full time and will suit someone who would like some flexibility in working hours, as there will be evening, weekend work plus school holiday activities, including Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-7 pm at Tottenham Town Hall. Your time will be split between working from Tottenham Town Hall in Haringey, the McPin Foundation offices in London and remote working as needed for project delivery.
You will link with stakeholders – schools, the police, local councillors – to help build networks to drive our social action projects forward.
Most importantly you will be supporting and mentoring young people as they learn about peer research and develop social action projects to drive change.

- Willingness and ability to hold a First Aid qualification

About the role
The postholder will plan, implement and deliver all digital marketing plans and activity as part of The Fostering Network’s integrated marketing and communications strategy, supporting organisational objectives regarding in relation to; membership engagement and value, income generation, service delivery and campaigning, and will:
- Ensure consistent operation, quality and relevance of The Fostering Network’s website and other digital properties, delivering an excellent user experience and content plan to our members and stakeholders.
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring all digital communications are high quality, relevant and promote our key messaging and brand values.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and communications team processes which support our strategy and deliver an effective service to the organisation.
- Be responsible for website content, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and develop our online presence.

We’re looking for a Senior Communications Manager to lead a range of WWF’s communications activities, primarily those we deliver through our partnerships with major companies. This role will see you working at the heart of our award-winning partnerships to engage consumer audiences and/or drive change in a key industries.
You will lead the development and delivery of innovative comms plans, which may involve working closely with counterparts at our partner companies and coordinating with WWF’s comms delivery teams.
This role would suit someone with a proven track record in leading communications campaigns in a complex stakeholder landscape, either in-house with brand or NGO, or at an agency. This experience could come from any sector.
