The Chartered College of Teaching is currently working on a number of exciting projects, and is looking for an EdTech Evidence Lead who will play a key role in the success of these projects. By joining our team as EdTech Evidence Lead, you’ll be helping us to support educators and EdTech companies to strengthen their use of evidence and build understanding around the effectiveness of EdTech products in schools and colleges. 

The role will run until March 2026 in the first instance, with potential for extension.

Job Title: EdTech Evidence Lead
Salary: circa £40,000 per annum dependent on experience
Contract: Fixed term until March 2026 with possibility of extension. Open to full-time/part time/freelance. A full working week is 35 hours and we offer flexible working options. We are open to full time or part time candidates.

The Opportunity

The EdTech Evidence Lead will play a key role in delivering one of our key projects, focusing on EdTech Evidence. Drawing on their experience and knowledge of EdTech, they will support EdTech companies and educators to build understanding about gathering and evaluating evidence for different EdTech products. They will develop guidance and materials to facilitate this, and work with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to develop resources, systems and processes that aim to promote and recognise ‘high-quality’ evidence around EdTech. 

Main responsibilities include:

• Developing tools and resources to support individuals and organisations to engage with, and in, gathering and evaluating evidence around EdTech
• Developing guidance and training which helps EdTech companies plan and carry out evidence-gathering activities for their products and prepares them to submit evidence for formal review
• Contributing to the development and delivery of processes and systems for formally reviewing EdTech evidence
• Build relationships with EdTech companies and other key stakeholders to understand their use of evidence relating to EdTech and engage them with the project
• Liaising with a range of stakeholders to promote the use of EdTech evidence and seek input into the design and development of key project deliverables
• Representing the project externally to promote engagement with both the project, and with EdTech evidence generally
• Leading on the delivery of key project deliverables and monitoring progress towards these.

Additionally:

• Attending and participate in CPD learning activities and training to maintain and develop your knowledge and skills 
• Arranging and participate in meetings, as required
• Performing other activities as and when required in order to fulfil the purpose and requirements of the role.

About the role 

As Digital Fundraising Executive, you will manage specific digital campaigns to drive supporter acquisition, engagement, retention and income. You will play an important role in ensuring we provide the best possible online experiences for supporters, and that our content and journeys are as effective and engaging as they can be.

Contract 

This role is available full-time (35 hours per week, Monday – Friday) with some flexibility around hours worked, or part-time (at least 28 hours per week). You will work remotely or a hybrid of remote and working in our collaborative, modern office space in Haywards Heath, which is open Tuesday – Thursday and is a short train journey from Brighton, or a 45-minute train journey from London. You will be expected to attend the office for monthly team meetings and there may be a small amount of other ad-hoc travel within the UK.  

Responsibilities 

• Managing digital fundraising projects, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth execution, timely delivery, and alignment with objectives and budget.
• Oversee digital fundraising projects, to ensure they meet objectives, remain within budget, and achieve set targets
• Collaborate with fundraising teams to integrate digital content and messaging into offline campaigns
• Oversee the full lifecycle of email campaigns, including planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
• Develop engaging onboarding experiences for new supporters to encourage long-term engagement
• Support the Digital Manager in expanding international fundraising through a range of digital channels
• Monitor the performance of digital fundraising activities, updating plans and implementing improvements where necessary
• Contribute to A/B and multivariate testing to enhance the effectiveness of digital campaigns
• Ensure campaign activities are streamlined and optimised for international audiences
• Assist the Digital Managers and Head of Digital Fundraising with additional projects as required

Skills 

 Essential:  

• Proven experience in managing digital fundraising projects with timely delivery, adherence to briefs and budgets, and effective results reporting.  
• Experience and understanding of key digital marketing or fundraising platforms and disciplines - such as content management systems, email marketing, social media platforms, search and display advertising and ideally experience with GA4. 
• Excellent writing skills, with experience in writing strong fundraising copywriting.
• Competence in data analysis, reporting, and tracking progress against KPIs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.  
• Project management skills involving coordination with multiple teams and external agencies to achieve organisational goals.

Desirable:  

• Experience in international fundraising.  
• Understanding of various individual-giving fundraising disciplines, such as mailings, inserts, and TV advertising.  
• Experience in orchestrating virtual mass participation events.  
• Strong editing and proofreading abilities.  
• Research skills to identify new digital and fundraising opportunities.

The DRC Fieldwork Coordinator role sits within RFUK’s largest Programmes team: Land & Livelihoods. A central aspect of the L&L team’s work is supporting communities to establish and manage community forests as well as working at the national and policy levels to achieve wider impact. This role will be pivotal to a new phase of community forest expansion in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is being supported by the Rainforest Trust. In partnership with five local organisations, the role will contribute to the objective of expanding community forests in two highly biodiverse landscapes: the periphery of the Maïko National Park in North Kivu province and the area surrounding the Salonga National Park in Maï Ndombe province. 

The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years’ experience of project management support in a charity or international development context, as well as 3 years’ of experience in supporting community land use planning and livelihoods initiatives in rural contexts. We are looking for a motivated and pro-active individual to join us as Executive Assistant to the CEO and Senior Manager, Team and Operations. The role will support the Society’s activities by providing direct assistance to the Leadership team, managing communications with our growing network of key volunteers and working with the CEO on fundraising strategies.

The role will require someone who has excellent organisation, time management and administrative experience, and some experience working in the charitable sector (knowledge of fundraising an advantage). We are working in partnership with a Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Corporate Fundraiser. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters. 

The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and partners, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. Key responsibilities will include prospect research and new business development, compelling proposal and proposition creation, account management and event and campaign planning. The role will be hands on, focused on operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven ability to deliver income and activity targets in corporate fundraising, with a strong knowledge of corporate fundraising techniques.
• A track record in fundraising with evidence of the successful stewardship of four-figure and above partnerships/gifts, ideally with some exposure to multi-year partnerships.
• Experience of building bespoke fundraising propositions for corporate partners.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To lead the Support Team to provide emotional and practical support to families and individuals living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. It includes leading the support team to provide 1-2-1 and group support provided in person or virtually, and creating and growing support networks for the wider Duchenne community which includes Duchenne parents/caregivers; young people and adults living with Duchenne; extended family and friends; and professionals in environments such as schools, local authorities and clinics. 

Specific Tasks:

The focus areas and key deliverables of this role are as follows:

• Develop a clear process for identifying case loads and capacity for the Support Team.

• Identify opportunities, alongside the team, for cross team working - including residentials; family events; Science Educations workshops with regional meetups and education visits to schools and local authorities.

• Obtain, decipher and provide training to the Support Team on new updates relevant to Duchenne families, such as DLA, EHCP and more.

• Work closely with your team, to ensure that each family receives the best support possible, and that long-term support is provided.

• Lead on the development and delivery of monthly reporting of engagement and support contact, which will feed into the wider All Through Support journey. 

• To work with the Head of Operations and Events to contribute to Agenda topics and speakers from the community; assign roles for the conference to the Support Team.

• Establish a database for external stakeholders also supporting those living with Duchenne on a national basis, fed in to from the Support Team.

• To develop a triaging and caseload process for the Support Team, and how best to regularly monitor this.

• Be involved in the recruitment, selection, and induction of volunteers appropriate to your area of work.

• To maintain the contact database, keeping it up to date and accurate.

• Coordinate cover for the Support Team when there is sickness or leave.
