For a large international organisation, we are recruiting an Interim Group FP&A Manager who will coordinate and produce consolidated financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. The Group FP&A Manager will contribute to planning activity and data across Finance, working closely with Regional Finance Directors to ensure consistency of all planning and forecasting. We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.

You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. Partnership Experience Manager (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £38,814 - £44,581 pro-rata (depending on experience and FTE)

About the role

You will play a key role in driving the continuous improvement and growth of our national partnership through deepening the quality and impact of our local collaboration hubs. You will also oversee the day-to-day running of hubs of our schools and trusts, which includes holding responsibility for the operations of the Partnerships Team and working closely with the Partnership Lead to ensure that all hubs, schools and trusts have an excellent experience with Challenge Partners.

Strategic Leadership and Management  - Hub Quality and Impact

• Develop and lead our strategy to improve the quality and impact of Challenge Partners’ Hubs, continuing to develop high performing hubs and supporting rapid improvement in new and emerging hubs

• Deliver, grow and evaluate the impact of our hub-led programmes: Middle Leaders’ Quality Assurance Review and Leadership Residency Programme

• Oversee the continuous improvement of national Knowledge Exchange and Areas of Excellence

• Lead a Hub Quality and Impact team, including all central team hub owners and executive hub links, through providing clarity on the Hub Quality and Impact strategy and operations.

Strategic Leadership and Management - Partnership Experience and Communications

• Develop and lead the implementation of our Account Management strategy ensuring that accounts are given the attention needed to ensure a smooth experience and high satisfaction rates

• Oversee Customer Care processes across the organisation, guaranteeing that any issues are resolved in a professional and timely manner 

• Oversee whole partnership communications, including half termly partnership newsletters

• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships (Senior Partners, Hub Managers, trust CEOs) with your allocated key accounts to ensure that regular dialogue with them informs the strategy and continuous improvement in our support of hub quality and partner experience

• Act as an ambassador for Challenge Partners, representing the organisation externally where required

We are delighted to be working with the British Film Institute (BFI) the leading body for Film in the UK, who are looking for an exceptional Procurement Manager with sound Public Procurement knowledge able to run tenders both below and above thresholds to join their small, but busy team. 

As custodians of the Nations Master Film Collection, exhibit film at BFI Southbank, run the London Film Festival and operate the BFI IMAX – the UK’s largest cinema screen, they are also a National Lottery Distributor, and an NDPB (Non-Departmental Public Body reporting into DCMS (Department for Culture, Media and Sport).

Procurement at the BFI is governed by Public Sector regulations procuring goods and services totalling on average £25m a year with all procurement over £10k in value managed by the Procurement team and as such the successful candidate will need to be experienced in public sector procurement.  Ideally, you will also be a generalist as the breadth of procurement at BFI is extensive, and you will demonstrate the skills to run both below and above threshold tenders with knowledge of frameworks. 

You will have:

• A Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Level 4 Diploma (CIPS) or degree or equivalent vocational training.
• Completed and implemented the government mandated modules training and obtaining a certificate of completion for the new Procurement Regulations (essential)
• Demonstrable experience in a Procurement department and good knowledge and understanding of UK Procurement legislation, including framework agreements and end to end tendering in practice. 
• Familiarity with Government procurement related issue and In-Tend or other electronic tendering systems.
• Experience of Financial / Budgetary control systems.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious Public Fundraising team in London to manage the staff and programmes for individual/regular giving campaigns, community fundraising, supporter engagement and trading of Christmas cards. The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for the delivery of Help Musicians’ and Music Minds Matter’s public fundraising operational plans. The successful candidate will oversee four direct line-reports and their work plans relating to the management of these public fundraising streams to achieve growth of the charity’s donor base and charitable income.

This role develops and delivers a set of operational plans within the charity’s public fundraising programme, supporting and empowering their line reports to implement supporter development and acquisition campaigns, in memory giving initiatives, community fundraising projects and trading products. This role leads on the overall successful management of these work plans by managing, supporting and mentoring a team of fundraiser specialists to ensure an integrated approach to campaigns and a joined-up supporter experience.

This role will also work in collaboration with the Head of Individual Giving, team members and other colleagues in Help Musicians to scope, launch and lead on the implementation of a new charity CRM, and new fundraising initiatives to help grow our supporter-base e.g., Friends Scheme, community fundraising products, digital fundraising campaigns, improved supporter journeys etc.

About you

We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of leading and managing line-reports and operational plans within individual giving and wider public fundraising areas (e.g., community fundraising, trading), to achieve set income and supporter number goals. The successful candidate will have good experience of effective line-management and of managing fundraising teams and delivering work plans through people which includes setting objectives, coaching, developing, and managing effective performance.

This role oversees a number of income-generating programmes and therefore the candidate needs to show the ability to manage a wide range of projects at any one time and to work collaboratively with other teams to deliver successful outcomes. Excellent planning and organisational skills are needed to manage workloads effectively.

The successful candidate will have experience of taking an audience-led approach to delivering mass-fundraising campaigns, to help enhance digital and direct mail appeals to retain and acquire supporters, create effective supporter and stewardship journeys, and to develop new initiatives within the community fundraising income stream to grow new audiences.

Job Purpose

As our Finance Manager, reporting to the Director of Finance and working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and colleagues across the organisation, you will be a key person ensuring that our financial data is complete and accurate, overseeing reporting to our programme funders and our international network, and ensuring best practice in all aspects of financial management. You’ll supervise the Database and Income Processing Officer and the Finance Assistant (position currently vacant).

Key responsibilities

Ensure the integrity of financial data and controls, including budgeting, forecasting, Treasury and cash flow management

· Prepare data ready for monthly accounts, reports, and financial statements. This will include the normal monthly journals, reconciliations, and checks

· Support financial planning, risk management, and decision-making

· Liaise as necessary with colleagues in Habitat for Humanity’s international network for reporting and efficient transmission of funds to overseas affiliates

· Manage payroll, tax returns, and financial reporting for funders

· Provide leadership to finance team members and develop financial policies

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

· Administering commitment and invoice approvals in line with our Delegation of Authority

· Coordinating and verifying expense coding by non-finance staff

What we’re looking for

 · A qualified or part-qualified finance professional with at least 3 years’ experience in charity finance, including fund accounting

· Skills in financial control, compliance, management, and reporting

· Knowledge of accounting software (Sage50 and Sun ideally) and downstream spreadsheet and similar tools; a willingness to learn new ways of handling data

· Good summarising and communication skills with the ability to influence colleagues and senior leaders
